This is a great grocery store, friendly employees, the app is easy to use and they have some really good deals. However I think management needs to be a bit more polite and professional with their staff. Young lady named Jayden was extremely condescending to the cashier checking me out when she had some issues with applying a coupon. It was difficult to watch and I thought very unprofessional. Management should treat staff with more patience, the cashier was sweet and friendly and I did not think it was appropriate how she was being treated by her own supervisor.

Easy to order on the app and pickup! Great option- to save time.

I spent almost my whole lunch break picking up an online order that should have taken less than 15 minutes. Long story short, nobody was working in the pick up area to manage pick up orders or answer calls.To make it more frustrating, the avocados in my order were mushy & my cucumber was bendy and oozing a white liquid...not posting a picture for your own benefit

Had a very terrible experience! I had some food returns to give back. The lady at the customer service desk, Melissa, asked for my receipt which I then presented. She looked at my receipt skeptically and texted someone on her phone. Next thing I know a manager comes up and starts questioning my purchases. He asked several times if something was wrong with it. I gave a simple answer, no. Then he continued and asked “why am I coming to this store to return?” What an odd question! And then he looked down on my receipt for a long time as if something was out of ordinary. I asked “is there an issue”. He began to tell me that he’s not sure that I am the one who purchased these items before anybody can pick up a receipt at the parking lot! I’m very shocked to hear this response, as if I stole these items! He “assured” that wasn’t the case and that he gets “tons” of people picking up receipts at the lot. This still insinuates that I stocked up on these food items, left without paying, found a receipt on the lot and came back to return. How shameful! He then proceeded to tell the lady, Melissa, to verify that the receipt is in fact mine and if it matches with my card and that I can only enter my card and not receive any cash back! Now why is that?! I can provide proof but why I am going through all this trouble just to return items back? Why can’t I request cash? Not only that but Melissa also took my receipt to the back where I saw fax machines and did Lord knows what to it and for why? She also wrote her signature more than once all over my receipt. Now I wouldn’t mind if I had not just seen someone else return something and she handed him back the receipt without writing anything down. This tells me that they believe I will go try to return “returned items” at another store. Definitely felt discriminated and embarrassed shopping at Tom Thumb. Don’t recommend shopping at the Coppell location.

This location is the cleanest Tom Thumb Ive ever been to. Everything on my list was in stock and I had no problems finding anything. I even found some amazing deals on name brand 5 blade disposable razors for only $1.99 a package. Plus I saved 52% off my final subtotal by using the digital coupons and just for you coupons in the app!

Great selection of fresh vegetables and fruit! Well stocked store. The cinnamon-raisin bagels from the deli were disappointing.

I would give 5 stars, as this store is always clean, well stocked, and has the best bakery in town, however, one of the deli employees hates waiting on people, and he makes that very well known. Had to just walk off tonight when he was washing pans, after he looked up TWICE, saw me standing at the counter needing help, and totally ignored me. This has happened a few times before.

The Coppell Tom Thumb has always been well organized and friendly but today it was exceptional.There was a torrential rain as I was ready to leave. A young man, Caleb, was pushing in the supermarket baskets from the parking lot. When he saw me hesitantly looking out at the storm, he took off his hooded rain jacket, offered it to me to wear to the car, helped me put it on, then walked me to my car! This senior citizen could not have been more grateful! Thank you!

I have mixed feelings about this Tom Thumb. The products are usually pretty good quality but they are usually a couple days from being expired and you have to dig around to find one that will last. The employees in the deli are almost always rude to us. So, a normal grocery store experience I guess.

I dont go here very often but when I do it seems very clean and they always have the fancy snacks that I dont eat very often. I got my vaccine here and it was pretty easy and took around 5 mins once your there so not q very long wait.

Tom Thumb recently has rubbed me the wrong way. The fruit quality is as low as I have seen. In fact I have moved to getting my fruit at Walmart as it is many times better than what I have been getting at Tom Thumb. Moreover the checkout line usually has four of the six registers closed backing up what few people are in the store in the first place. Add that certain basic items like broccoli crowns are hard to come by makes me actually not want to consider Tom Thumb as my first stop for groceries moving forward.

The staff is not friendly. The prices are higher than other close markets. Nothing special about this place

Conveniently located. High end products available. If you want anything which can come in larger packs then go and buy it from Costco, sams etc. This is a retail only place with prices on the higher side. But I don’t mind because the place is clean, stuffed with merchandise and almost everything is available.

I love coming to this one. They have a product that I cant seem to find at Kroger or Walmart or even other Tom Thumbs. They just got new self-checkouts, which are fast. And the whole place seems clean. Great place!

I shop here ss well as work here. All the employees are friendly and always willing to assist customers and fellow teammates. Mason working the front end always make sure that customers are able to checkout in a timely manner. This is a great store to work or shop.

Employees not wearing masks to cover mouth and nose. Its useless covering your chin. Fresh turkeys are swelling in the packages. This is a sign of spoilage due to lack of refrigeration. Left my groceries and walked out.

Good 89% of the time. I think it really depends on who you ask for help. But very clean, well stocked and overall pleasant.

Helpful employees. Tom Thumb is the ONLY place I buy my frozen Shrimp from - Waterfront Bistro is the only brand I go for. 🥂They had tissue when no one else did! ANNND their Starbucks was open during the stay home order. 🤟🏼

Pretty much the same offerings as any other grocery store of its kind. Kroger, Tom Thumb, although owned by different companies are essentially the same. Starbucks inside, pharmacy, wine & beer (that’s the best part!)

Wow, I have tried so hard to like this place but that is the final straw! I have been trying to do pickup order and they have changed the rules or process the past three times I have done it. Of course there is no warning, just changed out of the blue! Now today here for 8:00-9:00 pickup after them canceling my time last week and I am told the order isn’t ready yet because delivery orders are done first. I took off work to come across town for pickup and now have to come back whenever they send an email to me? Is that today, tomorrow, next year? When? Hate to but will be avoiding this place from now on. I understand this is a tough time but if you are going to change processes, people should be warned BEFORE!

Worst customer service EVER. I needed a help with a cake and no one was there. I waited 10 min and no one came.. then I saw a guy working in the bread section and I asked him if there is anyone who can help me in the bakery and he said I dont know. 2 min later I saw him walking towards the bakery shouting loudly (AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO IS WORKING HERE)

Solid shopping location. Staff are good most of the time, otherwise act indifferent. Bakery has messed up our cookie cakes at least 5 times. Thats our only complaint. Failure to understand, how to spell and poor attitudes. Good store otherwise.

Falsely advertised shrimp being on sale. In the freezer section they had shrimp with a price tag saying its 5$, it was the only shrimp there and and the price tag was right below the shrimp saying Shrimp with sauce card price 5$. There was no mistaking it. The price of the shrimp rang up to be 19$. I asked the cashier and both the cashier and manager were exceptionally rude. The manager went back to the freezer and confirmed that it was the only shrimp in the freezer and the tag was right below it but she would still not honor it the price, meanwhile being very condescending. Kroger is just down the street. Save yourself some trouble and bad customer service and go there. If you have any problems or questions the staff is rude, unwilling to help or offer solutions. Terrible customer service. Was in a bit of a time crunch, wife was at work with our Member card, could not remember the number at the checkout and the manager would not honor the member discounted prices. Had to go all the way home and come back with the card. What a missed opportunity to make me feel appreciated as a customer.

There have been many Tom Thumbs to close recently, but I hope not this one. The gentleman at the butcher block (said his was Arlex) was beyond professional and courteous. The store was clean and fronted, checkout was painless. My family and I will be returning regularly

This Tom Thumb location has been closed for several months now. I loved living within walking distance to this location and was super sad when it closed for good. Now the nearest Tom Thumb is located at the corner of Denton Tap Road & Sandy Lake in Coppell, Texas.Even couple employees that id grown pretty found of work there now and I get to see them from time to time when I got there, which unfortunately isnt often enough.

Really nice grocery store. Wide variety of choices to choose from. A good place to go if your traveling and you’re staying for awhile. It’s a good place for saving money.

Clearly the service desk girl doesnt know how to read a coupon. If the coupon say limited 2, that means, 2 is the max that you can of that item. I was told, I had had to have 2 coupons in order to get 2. Although the manager was super nice and understood, I didnt like the fact he said just give her 2. That made me feel like he was giving me something when the couple states the max was 2. Oh and, the check out girl in self check out, said she never seen the coupons I was using. Im pretty sure being an employee of Thom Thumb, you get the same coupons in the mail as well that printed by and only for Thom Thum. I spent my whole 45 min lunch in there for 8 items and was late coming back. Anywho, the store is nice and clean, 1st time ever shopping there, I maneuvered through the store pretty quickly. Checkout something different 😩

First time using the Drive Up & Go amenity. It’s trash. They don’t answer the phone promptly (called three times) and I waited 12 mins. Not cool.

This is my go to grocery store in the area, even thought there are a ton of options. This place is generally well stocked, and will open registers based on the number of people in line. I also like that I can get my car registration and have blood drawn all in one place.

Great if you have card, weekly deals make the price more competitive. Also card from Safeway or Vons work here because its the same store brand

The prices are higher but you definateley get your moneys worth. Clean store, quality products, and helpful employees. If you dont want these things then go across the street.
