This bookstore is a gem for all readers. Exceptional place for all ages. I have gone to many bookstores, and it’s an in and out situation. The setting outdoor is very inviting . And the ambiance inside is so chill you end up wanting to stay. The staff is so friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend.

This is our favorite neighborhood hangout. We come for the wine and food (and dog treats from Raul), and stay to buy a book or two. The only thing missing is the live music outside, which went away with Covid and hasn’t come back yet.

I’m obsessed with this place. Coming here to read a book, or work at their cafeteria feels different. They have a great variety of book selections. The entire place looks amazing and you can get lost just looking at books. Their children section is also very cool, if you have kids I recommend taking them there.This place has author’s readings/signings every so often, I recommend attending at least one of them.It’s perfectly located at coral gables. Finding parking is super easy and cheap. There’s a building in front of the bookstore where you can park.If you go to their cafe, I recommend trying their cookies or pies. They’re amazing ! Nothing like reading/working while enjoying some baked goods.

The Coral Gables location is stunningly beautiful, even considering how beautiful most books and books locations are. I called ahead to make sure they had the book I wanted. The staff on the phone was very friendly and helpful and set the book aside for me. When I arrived they were quick to politely greet me despite having a casual conversation with another guest at the time. The store was beautiful and well organized.

Great local bookstore. I love to bring my daughter to check out the compact but well stocked kids room. They have both books and some educational toys. There is a big table with themes that rotate based on the holidays (fathers day, teachers day, ect)

Hey everyone! We are from Charleston, Sc and came down for a mellow trip in Miami! It was fire! Hit up Clutch Burger on our last day, Isaac and Steve were so amazing! Sat on the beautiful patio and enjoyed beers... couldn’t have asked for more. So glad we discovered this hidden Miami gem. All the love.

One of my favorite places to go, period. You can feel the curation that went into the fiction section and really every corner of this bookstore. I know I can always find something great here. The cafe and courtyard complete this one-of-a-kind bookstore. Truly one of Miami’s gems.

This might be my favorite bookstore in the United States - such a great selection, such a great vibe and workers that are so helpful! I just bought three books in here after I went to browse, I couldn’t help it! Great place to visit, support bookstores!!!!

Lovely place. Oldest bookstore in Miami! They have a wonderful selection of Architecture, Design, and photography books. Bar is very nice, live music is great, and the ambience is perfect. Coffee selection is pretty simple, but still delish.

What a charming and wonderful destination. I stopped here to grab a book before a flight home and ended up lingering for almost an hour. The coffee table book collection is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. I found several books, and they offered to locate elsewhere the one I couldnt find. I highly recommend this place to any lover of books or unique shops.

Books and Books is a magical place. Its a really quaint and true bookstore with a yummy restaurant.I was there for a book signing with Diane Ravitch and her book The Slaying of Goliath. The UTD president Karla Katz Hernandez was there as well. It was so interesting.

There is so many books and the employees know so much about there shop.

Its a spacious and well lit book store. It transports you back to another place...New York or Oregon. Its so colorful and feels like you are in a different time. Plus there is a cafe inside with lunch and dinner as well as coffee and baked goods.

Love the shop. Excellent in every way! Personally I like the staff review of books and suggestions. Its so helpful and interesting to see the staff sharing their personal opinion about the books they sell. The cafe is also great and an awesome spot to just sit, and enjoy the just bought book.

Best bookstore in the city, by far. Ive been to City Lights in San Francisco, this has the same, browse and stay a while and you wind up with things you want to read, target than what happens to be popular.

This used to be one of my favorite places @ Miami but things have changed. The last time I was there was some of the worst customer service experience I have ever received. The staff acted like they couldnt be bothered to help you and we were made to feel like it was a club but we werent members.

Honestly this place is great. Ive recently gotten into reading again and Books&Books was a good place to start. They have a great selection of both books and things to eat! I recommend anyone who is looking for a quiet place to eat and read.

Love all of their locations, but this one is probably the most expansive. Beautifully inspiring ambiance, large selection of books, actually quiet...have not enjoyed the Cafe as of yet but I plan to.

I make an effort to come here every time I’m in Coral Gables because of how organized and shelved the books are. All the books are in great shape, better than most book stores. This place also offers workshops and book signings and other events. The recommended section is very much appreciated and you can usually find great reads through that. Truly a book lovers paradise!

Books and Books has been one of my favorite books stores for quite a few years now. I don’t get to go often as it is a bit of a drive but when I go, I always have a wonderful time. The staff has always been helpful and kind. The store itself is always clean and well organized, plus it gives you the feel of a small bookshop with the selection of a larger than average store. The food is perfect for a place such as this, the cafe has a varied selection while still keeping within the theme of the store. There are different areas for people who prefer more silence or those who would rather talk, they are not labeled but rather happen naturally. There is a parking garage right across the street so that is not a concern. Next time you want to go to a bookstore, this is the one to go to.

One of the last real book stores around. I would give it ten stars if I could. Great variety of books, has a coffee shop and even a bar with live music in the front patio area. Best part is that they still have authors come for meet and greets. We came to see Steve Vogel and his presentation on the Cold War was riveting. Go check their calendar on line!

It’s been a treat for the past 20 years popping into this shop to get a book, a coffee and a little something else! The store is full of treasures you never know what you will find!

Outdoor patio is a great place to meet with people now that the weather is getting nicer, did that last night! Tables spaced far apart so able to social-distance, no loud music that gets in the way of conversation.

It had the lovely feel of a storybook store and the most amazing fairytale setting. I could have stayed there forever!

Going to Books & Books is an experience not to be missed - it’s a destination! Peruse the vast amount of books, attend an event, have a drink in the courtyard, eat a delicious meal (they have Vegan options too!) they also have live music!Their helpful staff always has the perfect recommendation if you can’t decide which book to select.

Books & Books has become a cultural center with an exquisite offer of fiction, art books, political science and even tourism books. It carries the wonderful Assouline line. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The book presentations are democratic: from local novices to literary luminaries. The Coral Gables store has a great bistro, courtyard bar and even jazz concerts.

Books and Books is a great place to both buy books and have coffee at the same time. Unlike Barnes and Nobles, this place has a small family style feel so you can browse the selections with ease and stop for a nice cappuccino. We left with two books. I do think the pastries are a bit expensive. Always ask the prices before you buy!. Overall great experience.
