This doesnt even deserve one star. Really disappointed with Jon. Contacted him to have a sapphire ring made. Spoke with him on a Friday and he told me he would start looking for sapphires on Monday. I told him what I was looking for and sent him picture examples. Monday he texts me and sends me pictures of a sapphire that I didnt care for. I let him know that what he sent me was too dark, and that I was looking for something not quite as dark. He told me okay Ill find one. I asked him if I sent him a picture of the color I was looking for and he said No. You sent some ring pics, and then said dark blue. You replied today light blue. I never told him I was looking for something so dark that it appeared almost black. I also never told him light blue. I let him know I could send him a picture of the color I was looking for. His reply was send me a pic so Ill know what you want. I sent him two pictures. His reply was this: with that color, you are looking for a very rare and very expensive stone way out of your price. Good luck. Im out. Jon got upset because I didnt like the one single stone that he sent me, and then got an attitude with me when I showed him what Im looking for. For someone who is supposed to be a businessman and be professional, I was extremely disappointed with the way Jon does business. Instead of trying to work with me and adjusting my expectations, he gets an attitude and tells me good luck, hes out. Its rare you get treated as poorly as this in an industry where customer service is so critical. I felt like other people should know, because Im sure this isnt the first time he treated someone like this. There are so many gemologists out there, save your time and energy and deal with one that isnt going to disrespect you when your paying several thousand dollars to have them make something for you.
