I used to love them, but in the last 2 years I got 4 rate-hike postcards in the mail every 6 months like clock-work. There used to be a great manager there, but I got a rotten “we don’t care” explanation from the new guy and it’s obvious they send these these notes out as standard practice w/o comping rates around - definitely moving, at least to start with fresh low rates somewhere else. What kind of business DIS-incentivizes you for staying with them??

Excellent experience! Horace was proactive and courteous. He made sure I had an alternative should my original plan failed. When it did and I called him back, he had the terms and conditions all calculated and ready for me.

The customer service is wonderful!! My questions and concerns are always answered from the wonderful staff on any information that I may need on storage units.

I had to edit this review after I had given them 5 stars initially. I got my small unit for about $90, fast forward 4 months later they almost doubled my rent claiming that corporate had done some kind of assessment and they fount that the unit was cheap for the area so... eat it. I called again thinking the CSR was wrong and another person stated that they usually do this every 4 to 6 months. Seems to me like this is standard operation, they get you with a cheap rate, then double it. Luckily I have a small unit so Im getting my stuff out, I cant even imagine the pain of having this issue on a large unit. Be aware!

I am changing my review for extra space storage from 5 stars to 1 due to the fact that I just received a rate change not too long and now have received another today for an additional $86! That is an insane amount of money to increase for a storage unit. I have been happy up until now so youve lost a good customer and created a headache for me having to last minute remove my belongings to switch facilities. You can guarantee I will not be recommending this place ever.

This facility is very well maintained, everything works well. Renting a 10x20 for an emergency storage was a breeze. Horace was super nice, he gave me a tour of the place, and showed me the most conveniently located space. Taking care of the contract was very easy. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and started moving my stuff right away. I definitely recommend this location and will use it again for future needs!

Renting from the extra space storage in Coral Springs was easy, and their customer service is amazing! After visiting 2 other storage facilities in Coral Springs, we decided to rent with extra space storage. We completed the online rapid rental agreement, and the second we hit submit we got a call from Nicole, their local onsite contact. She made sure we had answers to any questions, and when we got to the site and found a small problem with the unit, Nicole immediately switched us to another unit. She also came to check on us while we were unloading our items into the unit, to see if we needed anything. I promise you the customer service at the other storage facilities was nonexistent. Recently visited to store my belongings while I transition to a new home. Staff is awesome and his awesomeness calmed my anxiety and made me feel like my things were in great hands. I checked out several places prior to renting my unit from this facility. I had two more facilities to look at after I saw this place ... drove by the other two and didnt even get out of my car ... went right back to Extra Space Storage and been there ever since. Safe ... Secure ... clean and very well maintained.My only issue is the yearly increase to the rent ... generally once per year ... which they say is based on supply and demand ...

In 2011 I had an amazing experience with this facility. The process of moving can be very stressful and with the many decisions having to make is overwhelming. When in searching for a storage facility I wanted not only the best price but great service. My first impression was with just the greeting was very welcoming. The consultant offering a tour and basic questions that I didnt even think off in regards to size, insurance and access to the facility. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, well lighted, and the access was very convenient. I really felt like I was a part of the family and both Patrick the manager of the property as the Ray assistant manager went above and beyond. I realize this is a pretty simple task however the professionalism and also the friendliness of both individuals was above exemplary.I also found out through general conversation that John was training which was hard to tell since he handled himself as someone whos been doing this for the long time.Michael was excellent in both handling my needs while assisting John in his training, something I know to be a difficult task as I have been in that role.
