First time visiting this Marathon store and was delighted at how clean the store and restrooms were. Cashiers were extremely friendly. Parking was well lit and safe. My husband is a truck driver so we spent the night, which the store is able to accommodate 5-6 lg trucks at a cost of $10. Store is open 24/7, and I noticed police patrolling lots frequently, which I really liked. If you have pets, there is a safe area to walk them away from traffic so the can get some exercise and do their business too. I highly recommend this stop for any of your travel needs. Believe me, I am really picky where I go, and this customer will definitely be back. 😊

The parking lot has pot holes. DQ is closed for remodeling. The bathrooms need remodeling and some cleaning. But hey they have video slot machines. The fountain drinks were overpriced. It sucks that Covid has been so hard on small businesses. Im impressed they have stayed open. But I still have to be honest.

Finally got to park and see these old buildings. Last October the place was packed out with no where to park. Have to be a man to cut down, shape, and build your family a place to live back then. Unlike the pansies being brought up today. Great place to visit. Good job.

Very clean store has everthing you could need but tourist trap junk for sale staff not very friendly watch you lime your gonna steal something. I get this feeling in alot of foriegner owned stores if you came to america for freedom dont treat everyone like a thief. Not sure how it is where you came from but your not there anymore we dont like to be followed around the store. Like your store and will return but may change in future if you dont change the way you react to prople brousing threw all the items you have for sale

Lady at the register was very rude. Me and my sister stopped to use the bathroom and were looking at all the cool hats and she gave us a dirty looked and gave us a really bad attitude. Would not recommend stopping here for anything else but to use the restroom, even though there were no seat covers anyways.

It was somewhat crowded with customers. Purchase gas without difficulty and had lots of things for sale in the store. Well stocked and friendly customer service. I would recommend this place.

First visit to Cordele...and this was a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.. I stopped in for two coffees. After adding (2) cream and sugar to one cup, a woman behind the counter shouted demanding to know how many I used and yelled (across the store) to me that cream was not free and I would have to pay 10 cents per teaspoon. I approached her counter assuring that I would happily pay for the creamer but that a sign might be helpful to avoid the abrasive interaction (as this is the first gas station I have ever been to that does not include these items with a coffee purchase). She insisted nobody would read the sign and that she was not going to lose any money over the very expensive creamers. 🙄I didnt want to fight...but said, I would have read the sign. She was incredibly rude and insisted that I was ignorant and that this is policy in every gas station everywhere. I told her this attitude may lose her customers in the future. She insisted, I have NEVER lost a customer. I calmly said you have definitely lost one today because I will NEVER come back here again.

Very Nice Place to stop and get food and drink.Right off exit 99 on I75. The folks who own and work here are always very polite and friendly. If ya have children, they will love Dairy Queen too!

As we traveled from Florida to Ohio, we needed a quick stop. When I entered to grab a quick snack for my kids, I noticed that none of the family members working at this gas station were wearing masks. I asked very politely if they would mind putting their masks on to serve me, and they very aggressively refused. It’s really not too much to ask of a business. I do not recommend this place. Just pick the next place instead.

We came from Miami, Florida super tired from our trip and we needed to buy food and go to the bathroom. They stood in front of the bathroom and told us that the bathrooms didnt work. Then they saw us standing in line for subway and told us that since we were buying we could enter the bathroom. They only let people who are buying stuff enter. While we were ordering they kept asking us questions of how many pets we had and they would just talk their language. Sorry, but were in the US not in another state that charges people to go in the bathrooms.

He refused to allow three ladies, who were all in dire need of a toilet, access to the bathroom. Even after the paying customers explained that their bladders were full, he demanded that they “ go outside to pee and called the police because his bathrooms was being cleaned”. This stop looks great on the outside but beware of minimum maintenance and lack of quality amenities. We stopped with kids for a bathroom break. The men’s bathroom had overflowing urinal, a toilet that had been left long enough to dehydrate and cause the bathroom to smell. My wife reported that the women’s bathroom smelled (which is common) but there was no toilet paper. The store is new but I admit that I didn’t purchase anything there.It was a quick visit but clear that maintenance was the last on the priority list. The attached Daury Queen was not open in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. Not sure why not. Giving 2 stars with hope that some people may have a better experience simply getting fuel.

This is my favorite stop between Savannah (home) and Albany (Moms house). Always incredibly clean and I think an owner or relative checks me out with a smile 😃every time. Cant beat that when you are traveling

As I was filling up my Escalade with gas, while on a family vacation, I sent my pregnant wife inside to use the restroom and order ice cream. By the time I got inside my wife was exiting the store as the employee had asked her to leave, as she waited for her ice cream. Other men were also walking around the store while waiting for their orders and were not approached. As a business owner myself, I am shocked and appalled that this type of discrimination is tolerated by Marathon corporate.

While in the gas station, the male employee who was not wearing a mask asked my girlfriend’s pregnant mom to leave if she was not going to buy anything - even though they had already bought gas and were in the process of buying ice cream. It was not fair for her to be discriminated against like that and was very rude. I was disgusted by the behavior.

A little of the beaten path, nice clean bathrooms, fresh food, good coffee, lots of different sovereigns and 6 semi truck parking. Has a Subway and DQ. The cashier was very friendly and was wearing a mask. Definitely add this stop on our route.

Do not stop at this gas station the pumps never work with credit or debit and the bathrooms are nasty

The restrooms were clean, and the staff was all friendly. There were interesting extras available for purchase, including purses or carved wooden sculptures. Electronic gaming machines available as well.

Great store a lot of things to look at to buy

I am appalled at the treatment received at this marathon location. I filled my Escalade up with almost $70 in gasoline and went inside to order ice cream for my family at the Dairy Queen onsite. While waiting for our ice cream, after paying for our gasoline, the male employee approached me without a mask on and told me to leave the gas station. I am not certain why I was discriminated against- I am a pregnant female, and other males were walking around the store in the same manner waiting for their orders, and they were not approached. Upon exiting, we could not throw out our ice cream wrappers as the trash cans were overflowed with trash lining the walk way.As the owner of multiple small businesses, including several restaurants, I am absolutely disgusted by the state of the store and the discrimination I experienced. Stay far away from this location, especially if you are a woman.

Never any lottery tickets in the machine!!

My pregnant mother was told to leave the store and my father had to go in and confront them. The bathroom had no toilet paper and the trash can was overflowed and disgusting. We will not be returning here again.

Very horrible I stopped on the way back home wanting to recoup! Grab a bite to eat, use the restroom and get gas let’s just say the experience was not so pleasant. We purchased my son a sandwich from subway and then used the restroom. We then decided that we would get something from Dairy Queen then we’ll get gas. Placed my order at Dairy Queen and noticed on the way to to the counter to pay for gas they had some nice little what nots while looking the manager came over as if he was pretending to clean something up and asked what I was doing I advised him I was looking at the names to see if my name was here to purchase. He asked had I ordered something from DQ and to step back on that side. I advised him I came in through his establishment to purchase something from both sides . He then advised that I could stay and continue to look I advised him that no that was rude and I was not going to purchase anything out of his establishment because it seemed like to me that you were trying to profile I will never stop here Again I’ll rather go out my way and go into town

We stopped at this Horizon spot on our way back from Orlando. Stay away from this place! The restroom is filthy.. there was no hand soap to wash hands, bathroom tissue everywhere, toilets were dirty and the sinks appeared to have not been cleaned for months! Imagine eating at one of those DQ or Subway inside that gas station. These employees had no hand soap to use after using the toilet! They came back to prepare sandwiches and ice cream with their unwashed hands.there were several employees standing behind the booth and when asked if they had soap, the answer was we don’t have any! You can buy some if you really need it!! Where is the Health Department for this county? Unbelievable!!!

Truckers do not stop here. I wanted to take a quick 30 min nap and the cashier tells me that I have to buy a parking ticket. Dont waist your time here!

Pulling travel trailer home from camping trip. Stopped for gas, payed at pump & left. Saw free rv dump at back of store. Used that one instead of paying for one close to home.

The cashier/ owner was extremely rude. We needed to use the restroom and he advised they were cleaning them (both bathrooms at the same time? Dont stop at this one because 30 min after we ate they were still closed. When asking the cashier/ owner screamed at us. Asking if we could read.

Dont stop here if u want to use the bathroom! Stopped here with my kid who had to use the bathroom they informed me I would have to wait for them to clean it for 25 minutes! The guy was very rude!

This is the WORST place to stop on the road. Location is perfect but it’s absolutely nasty and employees are standing around doing ‘busy’ work. There was absolutely no toilet paper in the ladies room and employees were so lackadaisical about it - with a line of about 10 women waiting. Someone was vacuuming at the front door and I almost tripped over the cord. She just kept going - at the busiest time of the day. Unbelievable.

A newer looking gas station that looked like trash. 1 bathroom stall had no toliet paper, next was out of order, and third stall trash was full to overflowing. A woman walked out with a 1/2 rol of toliet paper. My husband said a girl walked out of the mens restroom, girl was at the pump in a bra putting gas in her car with a gas can, creepy guy right outside front door, and numerous gas pumps out of order. Craziest gas station there was! I will avoid this place like the plague!

Terrible customer service!! We waited over 10 minutes for them to count the money in one register and run a sales tape. Another register was there and they had 3 employees but would not check any one out until they finished their tally. Most of us waiting just gave up and left. When you are travelling you dont want to just stand around and wait on someone to count money.

The bathrooms were broke down, which is illegal considering they serve food (Dairy Queen and subway) the Dairy Queen employees were very rude and did not even offer a receipt, or ask if it was dine in or take out, they just put it in a bad and handed to me. Worst experience Ive had at a gas station and not a good way to end my vacation.

It is currently a Horrizon gas station, and the mens restroom was filthy. TP was all over the floor, garbage was in the urinals, and toilets had excrement caked onto the side of the bowl.

It’s 2 am. The clerk at the gas station is on the phone basically yelling at the person on the other line. Even while he was dealing with customers. Unprofessional and annoying.
