I have purchased several items from this store a table and chairs and a dining table and will be looking for more furnishings for a new home. Recently purchased a couch and a king size bed. I also purchased bedding in August still remaining in original packing . The sales person was pushy on the color even though it was not exactly what I was looking for... never even offered to order the other option in the size I needed. They still carry the same item ... it has not been discontinued or marked down. I have had a color change in home and wanted to exchange for a neutral color. The store refuses to exchange item. The store “policy” is 7 days after purchase which is ridiculous. When I purchased that information was not shared. I did not ask for a refund just an exchange for something that is still a stock item. This is poor customer service and bad business. I will no longer give this store my business and they will lose thousands of dollars over poor customer service and policies. I have been a customer for years. They do not care about the customer only money in their pockets. I will take my business elsewhere for my future purchase in the upcoming months for my new home.
I moved to the Lake Norman area a little over a year ago.I wandered in this shop looking to furnish my new place on three separate occasions. I love the uniqueness of the pieces however I am not sure I will be back. I was interested in a few pieces but was never greeted or approached on all three occasions. The first time I took measurements of a piece and I went back and was interested in pillows and bedding. None of which were priced. I walked toward the three ladies at the counter who were too engrossed in conversation to acknowledge my presence. I left and did not even get a thank you for stopping in. I’m not sure how they sell anything in that store.
Way over priced and staff was not attentive, way too worried about moving things and staging than the teal customer. Owner must nit have been in sight as they would now a buyer from a lookie loo.
Spent over $2,000 at Dutchmans recently on a table and a chair. The table I bought from Dutchmans upon arrival was damaged. It took two phone calls and a store visit to finally get someone to pay attention to the issue and eventually send a repairman to come out to look at it. Told us they would be back the next day to repair it. Then no response for 3 weeks so we called them and were abruptly told they werent going to do anything about it. It was our problem! For us Dutchmans=damaged product, poor service and rude customer service! This furniture store is too expensive not to have great customer service and flawless products. Will not buy from them again and will let others know of our experience. So many better choices elsewhere in Charlotte. Please feel free to share my experience.

A must place to go for home furnishing, everything else will pale in comparison!
If there was a a zero star, unfortunately, that’s what I would give. I recently went in to this store looking for a sectional. When I walked in three ladies who worked there, stood at the counter chatting. During my twenty minute visit not one...not once did they offer any help. I would never, ever return regardless of selection or pricing.

Extremely disappointed. I would never pay the money again. I had a 2 hour full service interior design consultation. The only advice I received was add Euroshams even though we dont like them. I am still waiting for my written recommendations....its been 8 months! Left voice and emails with no response from the designer or the store.Update to my review. Still the same. Seven months later I got a generic response. Disappointed and MOVED on!
I usually NEVER write reviews... but I in this instance I have to. I found 2 wonderful sofas for a new home I was buying. In an effort to be organized, I purchased the sofas well in advance of the 8 wk shipping. My sofas were due the end of July. Ive stopped in the store every week to check on them, when I stopped in last week, no one could give me a straight answer and said theyd call me back. No one did, I called them this morning. One sofa isnt due in for another 1 1/2 wks and the 2nd isnt going to get here until October. I ordered them in June. If I could give zero stars I would, max is 1 star. Extremely disappointed in their service and delivery of 16 weeks. UPDATE: after initially posting, I looked around for sofas that compared to the ones Ive purchased at Dutchmans. I wasnt happy with the options, so I called Dutchmans back and they are delivering the first one and substituting a chair and a half until my other sofa comes in. I view that as trying to make something wrong right... If you do visit the store, you will fall in love with all the little unique pieces. (Ive upped it to 3 stars from 1 star - if I got both pieces on time, itd be 5 star business :( )
Staff friendly, products great and unique . Always inspiring! Love the scented rose hemps! I always visit St. Simons Island location when travelling to the beach & Cornelius N.C. every couple weeks.
Wow this place is awesome! Just be careful, some of their new stuff can be confused with real antiques.
