Warning ⚠️!!!Be careful on prices. On the shelf it says $1.98 at register its more than $3. When you ask why the cashier responded. I DONT CARE. I dont put the prices. Take it or leave.

Food Lions prices are the best, and they are the only reason I dont shop at Harris Teeter, as the store staff is hot and cold on customer service. Many times I have visited this store and have found sour dough bread out of stock in the deli. The chances of not finding what Im going to this store for are greater than finding what Im looking for. Take the ice cream section for example. I have a hard time getting the Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches I enjoy. Its hit or miss on the consistency of the availability of several products here. And dont bother writing the corporate office with a complaint, as they wont respond to you. If Aldi were closer, Id forget about Food Lion.

Always clean and friendly neighborhood supermarket. Prices are fairly good on great quality of products.

You guys need to give the associate Valerie Bastine a freaking RAISE!!! She went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me during lunch hour to locate multiple different products. Didnt have an attitude and was just happy to help. Tried to get her cashapp over and over again because these products was essential to me. But she just would not let me she said it was against company policy. I teased, come on girl no one will know. She STILL said NO. So she also has ethics. BRAVO Valarie and THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!! 😜

Early Sat morning is such a peaceful time to shop. Shelves are stocked, very few others there yet and the cashier was very helpful.

Horrible Customer Service and each individual had unprofessional attitudes! They all need to have a managers meeting at Corporate Headquarters on how to work in Customer Service as an Essential Worker and Customer Relations Professions.

Food lion is my favorite place to go Food shopping.

Patronized the Cornelius Food Lion and found the store was clean, and the associates were very polite and accommodating. I found my products were in stock....and I do have to say...the products I bought were about a $1 higher for the Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno crunchy verses Walmarts price for same item...$2.50...all the time price...not just on sale...and the Australian Gator extra sharp block specialty cheese ..about $1.00 higher than Walmarts price @$3.25...Food Lions location is convenient for me...there is another location about 2 miles from my house...but the new Walmart market place is only about 3 miles...so I usually go there ....Just SO happenly I was in Cornelius w/ business.Watch out Cornelius Food Lion and Harris Teeter people.😳..you dont have a walmart market place there close by yet.......but maybe coming to your area soon!🤷🏼‍♀️

I drive past two other grocery stores to get to this one. Produce is fresh, they usually have everything I need and prices are amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful if you need to find something. They are rearranging some things right now so it is a little messy. It is important to go on the right day so they have restocked!

I support our local Food Lion, thats why I go there. It may not be as modern or as fancy as some of the other newer supermarkets in the area, but its well layed out, well stocked and their prices are usually less overall then their competition.

I’ve been shopping at this store for over 10 years and after today I will not go back. The cashier on aisle 6 we unbelievably rude and refused me service. May have been political discrimination I’m not sure.I took the high road and said nothing as I was berated for no reason. I’ll take my money to Walmart from now on where I’m not verbally attacked by their cashiers.

Super clean store and extremely friendly staff, well stocked shelfs and not to much of a crowd, would definitely shop here again. They sell ice so if you need it they got it, wide selection of chips and snacks. They also have self-checkout so if you have a small order you can get in and out in a jiffy.

Had a conversation with the deli clerks. Hilarious people and very good at conversation. The layout seems to be the same with every food lion I visit. No real issue there. Its clean.

This is a very friendly and clean store. Mask wearing is enforced, along with a free one if needed.

The store is five stars, but the entrance on Catawba gives me problems. If its not somebody idling in the traffic circle, blocking my way, its me using the wrong entrance.

I completely recommend this place looking for nice, delicous and cheap store bought food and the best service youll ever get! Plus with premium member ships, you get discounts on most of your purchases. Food lion is an all out amazing shopping center and I would definitely become a premium member as fast as I can!

Its been the store I shop in for almost 7 yrs every one has been nothing but the best to me always feel good going in to that store. Except for the customer service manager the only one in that store that has attitude problems very disrespectful gave me a hard time saying the transaction is was trying to do was not possible when they have done it for me all the time. I even think she is racist very bad person giving me attitude and raising her voice the worst I told her I would pray for her and since she was the manager for customer service she should be an example to others not act like that.

Good place to get in and out quick

I really like shopping here the prices are great especially for meat. The produce is always good too although I wish some of it wasnt from Mexico! Why cant they have mostly local produce or produce from the U.S.? I also wish they had a wider selection of items so I dont have to go store hopping.

Had a bad experience with the assistant manager at this location this morning. She was snotty and smug when I returned a gallon of poor quality organic milk, and then again when I had trouble using the cash card she returned the money on.
