I had the best experience yesterday. I got the help I needed from a very helpful and polite young man with the car carrier I was towing. I was tuned away from another uhaul location who wouldnt help me. It was wonderful to get such awesome customer service, when desperately needed. Thank you.

Twice in about 10 days I had the same problem: I needed a box to ship an item (one was a skateboard, the other a small table). None of the regular U-Haul boxes were the right size. So the first time, I was helped by Robert R. who got creative and found a box in the recycle pile. That box had contained 24 of the metals bars used when shipping clothes. Then the second time, I was helped by Matt S. who found the same kind of box. I appreciate both of them sticking with me until the problems were solved. I ended up with two perfect boxes. Many thanks to both of these gentlemen.

Our interior climate controlled unit was broken into and many valuable items stolen, including personal items that can not be replaced. We were told that this had happened SEVERAL times before and they THOUGHT they repaired the doors to prevent it happening. Yet the doors can easily be opened by pulling on the jam, which frees the latch. No cameras at all in these hallways where people can access units 24 hrs- even after multiple break ins?! Extremely disappointed to say the least.

Ive only been here for a few weeks! But the few times that I have had interactions w/the staff, was nothing less than exceptional! Customer svc seems to be dwindling off these days. But it is so nice to still experience its intended purpose!

The woman today was rude and unprofessional. I have used this place several times and didnt recognize her. There card system was apparently updated and is having flaws. She wanted me to give her my card to hand key it in( never going to happen). After trying a different card, she then tells me to hit a button to use as credit card. Should have said that to begin with. Her attitude needs to be left at home. Whatever her issues are, they arent due to customers. Would have gone to the u haul on Seagle St but sadly they didnt have any small trucks or pick ups.

Cory and Matt were lovely and so helpful! Could not have asked for more professional guys! Second time moving in a month and they made it so easy I won’t go anywhere else!

Quick, easy and friendly and professional, I had to add an extra day to rental and it was so easy to deal with them to get it done. If all businesses were this easy to get things done, I could get an hour of my day back every day!

Rented a Utility Trailer 6X12 on 6/20/19 at 7AM. I needed to take a load of debris to the land fill. I paid for a full day and basically used it for 3.5 hours. After the land fill, I went straight back to return the trailer around 10:30AM. The helper asked me if everything was alright and I replied that I almost go stuck at the land fill. I do not have off road tires and with all the rains the land fill is somewhat muddy. The gentleman noticed that there was some mud splatter from my rear wheels on the front of the trailer. He tells me it will be $25 for clean up. I was surprised because it wasnt anything big. If youve rented any type of trailer from Uhaul, you know that they get beat up. My trailer had two hits on the passenger side of the trailer. He looked around the trailer checking and his only complaint was some mud. He said if I wanted he could give me a hose and a brush to scrub it done. The little bit of mud fell right off with water and didnt take me but a couple of minutes. After, I finish I told the gentleman that this was silly for making a customer hose down a trailer that was such a simple job. I would of expected a bit more service especially after I just paid for a full days rental and returned it in 3.5 hours. Then his rude manager appeared from behind a truck and start yelling and arguing with me about the situation. I am very disappointing on the horrible level of service upon returning the trailer. To make matters worse. The gentleman had me there waiting for him to check air pressure of the tire. I had to tell him to stop what he was doing and unhook me, I was at the drop off station and did not need to wait for him to do maintenance on his trailer.

They have great service. They were nice enough to help me move a piece of furniture from the truck to the unit even after the first unit was too small. Greatly appreciated the help!

Went in on a chance and was a bit leary of using uhaul based on previous experiences at different locations. Joseph was very professional and made my experience very delightful. Seem like they have a good staff there and will use again

I have been coming here for years. Karen and her staff are always super friendly and professional. I will never understand why there are two Uhaul locations within a mile of each other, but if you have to choose, give Karen and her team a try. I really doubt you would have a bad experience with them.

The GM and the guy who assisted me were awesome! They took care of my needs wirh team work to ensure service was speedy and the drop off process with another employee was even easier. The next day I received a finalized bill!

I have had the worst customer service experience ever in my entire life. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Not only was I overcharged but they processed 2 different amounts to my account. The General Manager is rude and condescending she has a very nasty attitude and thinks its ok to overcharge the customers and not have the customer call in to question there tactics. I DO NOT recommend anyone to rent from this location. If you lack customer service skills then dont work with the public.

If I talked to a customer at my job the way Karen Moore communicates with her customers, I wouldnt have a job. I wouldnt even be allowed to pick my last check up, theyd mail it. The equipment I rented on 9208 Westmoreland Road had a tank of bad gas because I know how a car drives with bad gas in it. I asked for a partial refund and you would have thought Karen owned Uhaul with her hateful response. Basically it didnt matter that it was their equipment that made me late returning it because the truck is driving just fine now. Im pretty sure it is driving fine considering I drove all the bad gas out for them. She showed nothing less than a reckless disregard for human life. Some people are left on this earth as examples so we know how not to be, she is one of them.

So normally when I needed a trailer for anything I would use sunbelt at lowes. The last time though sunbelt charged me 52 bucks for a 6 by 10 single axel POS. Decided to give u haul a shot. 38 bucks out the door for a nice 6 by 12 with ramp, dual axel, The u haul in Cornelius helped me secure one In Mooresville NC in minutes,pick up was a snap, Sunbelt lost a client for good. Awesome job UHaul.

We contacted Uhaul on Westmorland Avenue in Cornelius, NC mid February and asked for Brenda, who my husband has dealt with the past 12 years. The woman that answered the phone screamed, DONT EVER CALL BACK HERE AGAIN and basically hung up on him. Look, Vicki or Karen, whatever your real name is, if you had an issue with Brenda, a past employee, do not take it out on your potential customers. We will NEVER recommend this establishment ever again.

Its not typical that I write or feel I have something to offer in a review without having actually purchased something or done business with. However I had to write about my experience anyway. I know nothing about towing or trailer hitches and am considering purchasing a vehicle and travel trailer for full time living. In many of the facebook groups I belong to for campers, and RVs UHaul is often mentioned as a highly regarded installer of trailer hitches. I was driving by this location as I often do, and decided to stop in to see if I could pick someones brain about trailer hitches. There were few cars in the parking spaces, and noone in the store, so I approached the counter. I explained my situation and the young lady spent a good 20 minutes with me talking towing and hitches and hitch locks, easing my fears and encouraging my plans. It meant so much to me AND they dont even do hitch installations there so I dont know when Ill be able to bring her actual business, but appreciated it so much I decided to write this review for the excellent customer service. Way to go!

Karen Moore general manager here is rude and unprofessional. The tone in her voice when addressing issues/mistakes generated by her staff is unacceptable. I will never use this branch again. If i could leave no stars instead of one, I definitely would.

Manager is extremely passive aggressive!!! Charged extra fee and had to call corporate. They removed the charge after manager would not! Karen is a real “Karen”. BEWARE!!!!

The two vehicles I used ran pretty well and pricing was OK, but customer parking is in seriously short supply.

Had a bad experience over all will never use this location again!!
