What an amazing grocery store. My first time there. They have a great selection of things other than food. Such a fun store. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to find fresh produce, fish, seafood, international items, and traditional products to fill your pantry. Add to that a Cafe and Dining area and you are all set.

Excellent Grocery store and more. Best one between Corning and Watkins Glen. They have a large Gluten Free section that is multiples what most stores have. Each department is well stocked and nicely marketed. There are several Family Pack aisles with bulk packed items offering good discounts. My only disappointment is that they dont have a house mad deli salad department offering things like spinach dip or macaroni salads. They also have a Market Cafe for in-store or take out dining. From salads to full meals. I was thrilled to see multiple GF Asian dishes that were delicious. The space is big enough to handle a bus of tourists coming in at once. Which is what happened when we were there. If you are traveling from out of town, mention it to your cashier and shell use a guest card so you get the current discounts. Its a great service.

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING tasted good. Great location too at Downtown Corning. The view was also stunning!

I wasn’t aware there was a Wegmans in Corning! On the outside, it’s just like the Wegmans back in Ithaca, but the ceiling is much shorter and it’s a little outdated. The cafe is pretty nice though, Covid-wise. All the tables are nicely spaced out so you can be comfortable eating indoors.

Cashier bagged groceries in the cart, pulling the cart right next to the cc machine with my toddler in the seat. Needless to say it was a struggle to keep him from playing with the cc machine, this resulted in a frustrated, crying toddler. Not to mention the woman took forever to ring up the groceries. Worst checkout experience ever. Also they never have artisan cheese trays prepared, they don’t carry bagged sweet peppers or precut carrots. Will not be coming back here.

I come from the south where Publix is king. The one thing I like about Wegmans is that you have a choice of everything bread. The sushi was good filled with flavor. Finally home and filled at home eating the 12 inch sub hit the spot.

Produce, bakery, deli, seafood and adult beverage sections are second to none. Just a bit pricey but hands down the best grocery store in the area.

Always clean and friendly. Sometimes pricing is higher than other places but quality is good and always in-stock.

Wegmans is typically is known as a decent employer; however, they should be ashamed of their dispicable pay rates. Some departments that handle their guests confidential information are told they will only make $16/hr MAX. EVER. In case youre unaware, fast food and just about every other entry level job in the area STARTS at $16/hr. Youll get OK employee prospects for now; while people still think youre worth it, but keep reaching for the bottom of the barrel & thats what youll get. Feel bad for the mgmt that has to handle new employees that are below the typical Wegmans standard. Theyll leave too eventually.

I was disappointed. When I think of Wegmans I think of big barrels of bulk items. Now, everything from bulk is pre-packaged. Gone are the barrels and the d time feel that made it special. Now its just another grocery store.

Employees try hard to keep customers happy. Sometimes theyre out of water but thats typically due to a run on it. The seafood is nice and fresh but a bit pricey. I havent tried their prepared foods yet but I assume itll be up to Wegmans standards. Very clean and nice store.

A good place for grocery shopping. They offer a large variety from gluten-free to cat food, meat, fruit, vegetables, dairy, organic and local food. There is a self service restaurant with take-out food. It is not the cheapest store in town but they carry high quality items. I recommend Wegmans.

Previously, weve shopped at the Ithaca Wegmans which I hate. It has a great selection but brings out the worst in people. The shoppers are rude and aggressive with shopping carts in the aisles.The Corning Wegmans was a welcome change. They had a great selection in the Natures Marketplace as well as other sections. The staff I encountered were friendly and courteous as were the other customers.The only drawback is that this Wegmans is an older store, and the ceilings are low and the ambient light on the low side.

I called Corning Wegmans and had an unusual request of 2 pallets of cases of water for my company. They went out of their way to get me what we needed and they did it quickly and efficiently. I want to thank their Customer Service Person, the Catering manager and Helping hands for all they did. You guys Rock.

I understand the Wegmans hype now. This location had complementary baby diapers in the bathroom for customers. This was their grab and go meals and the sushi was delicious and well priced.

This Wegmans is my favorite grocery store, ever. The employees are so kind, either with speed and efficiency at checkout, or helping with finding or replacing an item, or keeping the place spotless. The selection and prices of products blows all other stores out of the water (even Whole Foods). Their pre-made items are always quality and never old.Every time I buy fresh produce or bread they are fresh and delicious. There is never a moldy berry in the bunch, or a wrinkly pepper.It is always fun to see what new, unusual fruit or vegetable they have, and Ive had to stop myself from buying the 20-lb Jackfruit. But I have got to try things like rambutan, daikon radish, kohlrabi, and baby bok choi, thanks to their great selection. All of their fresh products, meat, produce, have plaques to inform the buyer the country of origin.I also have switched from ground beef to their affordable Impossible burger and other selections of quality vegetarian alternatives.Might I add their selection of chocolate is unbelievable? Honestly wegmans is not what it once was. We bought fruits and vegetables and within a few days they were already no good. Also bought ground beef and the next nor ing it was brown! Straight into the trash unfortunately.

I can always find what I need and the people care! That is right they care. If you are looking for something someone will help you locate it if you need it. If they dont have it they will see what they can do to get it. I love this home town store. They care about the safety in these uncertain times as well. They will carry your groceries out if you need help.You have to have your own bags in NY or be prepared to buy bags..I was so surprised by this but always carry some in my car. I love Wegmans. The quality of their food products is well worth the trip and when it comes to having food allergies, there are more choices than you can shake a stick at. Eight years ago when I found out I had Celiac Disease, Wegmans was the only store that had gluten free options and nowadays it still has a bigger, better variety than any other store Ive visited. For the tastiest food, fresh and delicious, Wegmans is the place to shop. And you can feel good about shopping there, because they treat their employees well.

Corning Wegmans has a special place in my heart as it was my first introduction to Wegmans. Im not the only one who has said we would offer human sacrifices if they would put a Wegmans in Waverly, NY or Sayre, PA. We can support super Walmart, Tops (used to be 2 of them until Tops had to downsize everywhere), and ALDIs. Wegmans would just crush the competition here and eliminate their local competitor, Tops. There are buildings already built or space near the competition to build. Ugh, come on!!!!

Today I was at this store. I was shopping for my 90-year-old grandmother. When checking out, I was approached by a lady from the customer service desk. She was at the self check out area. I was having trouble with processing my payment. The payment was my grandmothers card of which she gets from the state of New York. The lady from the service desk was very impatient. She rolled her eyes at me. And never said anything when I said thank you. For these reasons I will continue to shop at super Walmart. This is an excusable. And bad customer servoce

Wegmans is the best grocery shopping above all else!! Friendly and helpful employees. Looking for an item, needing assistance getting groceries to your car, packing your groceries just right so bread isnt squished or all your eggs dont end up cracked. Clean, well stocked shelves!! Love shopping there, employees and prices are great!! I didnt have to go get a loan from the bank to feed my family! Quick check out, if more then two people in line waiting to cash out they gladly open another register!!

First on my way to the bakery to ordered a great cake, but was side lined by the beautiful Sun flowers in Florist shop!!Well Ill have to stop back after running some errands so they wont have to sit in the car on such a hot day☀️On my return visit picked up the Sun flowers for my daughter & met a very nice Sushi chef who helped me find something special for my daughter too! I would say Wegmans is a good grocery store, but they are highly priced on certain things. They don’t have much competition at all here except for tops which is also highly priced but has less things available. They also don’t have much variety at all in the sub place the subs are really expensive 1150 for a large sub.Their fish dinners are good but last week I went and they said they didnt have fish dinners because someone called in sick. WHAT?!And half the time they dont even have the sign up for Fish Dinners. Either sell them or dont sell them. Dont do some in between thing where you only sell them and advertise them sometimes.The prices here on certain things are exorbitant. I paid eight dollars for a salad the other day and it was six dollars for some ginger drink. a large sub is very large but $1150+ tax seems very expensive the only way it makes sense is if you buy a large sub if you buy a small sub or a medium sub it’s not even worth the price.The pizza is pretty good for how cheap it is.But their premade food is not that good: the general taos chicken and the sesame chicken all the Chinese food that they make is barely edible Same thing with the sushiI’d give anything if they had a gim bop station

Only the best grocery in the world. It does not matter what Wegman Ive been to they are always miles ahead of other grocery stores and have one of the best fresh meat and seafood sections.

Personally, I dont like the way this store is set up and organized. That being so said, they do have alot of foods that are hard to find elsewhere (vegan, vegetarian, health foods, sushi, ect), if you can find it...

This is my hometown wegmans... i live in here. it’s a smaller store with more basic items than the larger ones or even the ithaca store with additional prepared foods... but still amazing. ive lived all over and traveled and only wegmans suits my needs fully.

Went to Wegmans after work today, I got there around 11. I just wanted to go in and get out, but instead I deal with a short-haired cashier on register #11 who refused to make a comment or even tell me to move up the line, but instead of her communicating with me, she has a conversation with the cashier in the next line. I wasnt overly impressed by her. Good luck to people who have to deal with her!
