I bought four beautiful Christmas stockings in 2001 for my family of three so that once I had my second child, I could get all four embroidered with our names so they all matched. In 2005, I took my four stockings here and they botched the embroidery on the one for my second child! They said they failed to check the font and how it would all fit into the machine, so one stocking has the name right up on the egde of the top and the other three have names perfectly centered. Every time I look at those stockings, I think of how a company who has been in business for so long could have screwed up something so important to me, something I waited four years to have done so that all four names looked the same and they do not! They would not pay for the stockings since you sign a release on the merchandise you bring in, but they did not charge me for the one they screwed up. I cannot replace the botched one since those are no longer being made. Every year at this time, I think of Sunset embroidery and their bad work when I hang my Christmas stockings. THEY LOOK TERRIBLE NEXT TO EACH OTHER!!! I think I will finally have to suck it all up to a bad business and buy new stockings this year, somewhere where they come embroidered like Pottery Barn. I would NOT recommend taking any merchandise to this place that you would not want to be ruined.
