I have been trying to contact them about my car. I paid for a new motor and since then I have not heard back. Calls go to a full voicemail and they used to respond to texts, but unresponsive now. There was always an excuse about being busy and they will get to it. There was apparently another issue besides the engine and thats what they needed to work on, which I approved, but again, follow up calls and texts go unanswered. Judging by other reviews, this is the M.O. for this shop!

I wish I didn’t have to give a star! Don’t waste your time!!!! Worthless! Won’t fix you car after 4 times taking it back! Ridiculous! Gives you a quote then charges you double what they said! Straight up thieves! Please go somewhere else!

They definitely came through to help me! I was visiting family down there all the way from Minnesota and my transmission started acting up and needed a new one and this was the only shop that could find one fast and would replace it for a decent price but they couldn’t get one until Tuesday and one of their guys literally went to San Antonio to pick up the transmission and changed it over the weekend for me to be back on the road.

We needed to bring in our truck to get work done. Guy I called saturday said that they would be closed on Sunday but if I called him 11am he would be there to open the gates. We called earlier about 10:30am and left a voice-mail to let him know we had problems with the vehicle running and got a tow truck to pick it up and bring it. Called again at 11am to let him know we were on our way but mailbox was full. He never called back. Never made it there. We waited for 45min before deciding to get it take somewhere else that was willing to pick it up.

So to be honest, this place doesn’t look like much when you initially pull up (I mean no offense in any way) but they have a lot of vehicles on the lot and plenty of good reviews, so we chose them for service on my Ram 3500 Dually. The guys working here are honest, professional and at the same time relaxed. They got me a new transmission and noticed an issue the last mechanic did not fix like he was supposed to. They Even took me to and from there hotel since I was without a vehicle. I would 100% recommend these guys if you’re in the area. Cheers

My truck needed a new engine installed.I am a single mother who provides everything for her family.Left my truck on for an engine swap on 4/8/2021 and prepaid $2471 cash for a remanufactured engine.Kept checking back about once a a week.Also left over $300 dollars worth of other parts needed for engine swap on on 4/26/2021 with my truck.Owner of shop kept saying that he ordered new angine.Then said engine is a terminal.Owner also said that he purchased from Jasper Engines.So I decide to call Jasper main office in May 14,2021,and Jasper said that no an engine has not been purchased from them.So I ask for my money back and my truck to take somewhere else.Also called police because owner threatened me.Owner will not give back my truck or money paid in advance.I would not take my vehicle to them.They are thieves.

Pure theft. the people at g.o.d.s. auto are terrible in every sense of the word. garbage service, they lie straight to your face, an embarrassment for mechanics everywhere. also it will take 10x the time they say it will. and it clearly wont be fixed when you get i back. also quotes are 60% lower than they will end up charging you. dont worry though i am sure they will deny this!!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!

Aside from just being decent individuals this is the only place in corpus I will let work on my CNG vehicle. Highly recommended!

Absolute trash. do not use these guys for your auto needs. vehicle will be given back on empty, no matter what they say it is a lie. your vehicle is fixed = lie. it will take 4 days = lie. the ultimate in garbage corpus service and quality. DO NOT GO HERE.

They did a fantastic affordable brake job on my 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 using authentic parts from the dealer. They also changed the rear main seal on my Super Duty work truck, and fixed a transmission problem that was jerking while downshifting from 3rd to 2nd gear. These guys are REAL MECHANICS. Great place to go!

Elias and his brother are arguably the best mechanics in town. They are diagnostic kings! After taking my 05 dodge ram 1500 to three different guys, Elias figured out the problem within an hour and had it repaired by the end of the day. These guys are honest and their labor rates are more than fair. They explain issues to you and never try to upsale anything you dont need. My truck has its problems and every time I took it to GODS. Even when I was moving across the country and needed a major repair in a hurry they took care of me. Mechanics like this are hard to find. I never leave google reviews so believe me when I say these guys are the best!

I took the truck to Gods automotive after 4 other shops gave up and actually asked me to pick up the truck because they could not figure out the problem. Highly recommend GODS Auto Service. They are very professional without a bunch of run around. You will get your moneys worth. If you want cheap and guarantee there are so many other mechanics who will take your money. These guys will guarantee your work even if on a budget, they work with your circumstances. Had took my vehicle to 4 different shops and they tried screwing me over and could not find the problem...it took Elias only a few hours to find the problem and he was very detailed on what work that needed to be done....and had the courtesy to call me before he even did any work...and what he charged me was way cheaper than what these other crooked shops tried charging me...i have no problem recommending him and taking my vehicle in for anything I need done

Worst car mechanic you could ever go to, Gave them $4600 basically for them to fix my whole entire engine and they didn’t they gave me my car back and didn’t even run right I couldn’t even drive it off the lot I had to push it off there lot and tow it away and they gave me my car back with a blown head gasket they where supposed to fix...
