Great selection and quality products but annoying place to shop because it usually does not have advertised items and the prices at the cash register are not the sale prices. You have to be skilled at maneuvering the checkout process to get the listed price.

Great average size Safeway location in the Town Center mall. They stock the shelves well, usually don’t have too long checkout lines, and the store is organized well so you can find whatever you’re looking for easily.

I’ve recently purchased a beautiful flower arrangement made by a wonderful women by the name of Melendez. She was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. I also enjoying coming to this Safeway not just because of her, but the whole staff and the Manager Jessy. Thumbs up to everyone. 👍🏻

Club pricing is very convenient way to save on groceries. Fresh produce is very good. You get most of the brand items you like and prefer.

This is a nice Safeway as one would expect in this neighborhood.That said, Every. Single. Time I can count on sale prices not working at the register despite cortortions to ensure the coupons are captured on the phone app and telling the cashier in advance of having the items scanned.Between language challenges, inscrutable on-screen prices flashing before my eyes, and even less clear receipts, I am now considering stopping using Safeway for groceries.Its not the local stores fault...and customer service is great at fixing the error, but corporate please take note: you need improvement.

I have to say this safeway is remote, friendly and clean. My mother and i have been trying to find a safe grocery store thats quite and inviting and i have to say corte madera is the BEST. What made my experience even more remarkable was the exceptional quality of service i received from the Starbucks barista cody, not only was she beyond helpful she was warm, caring and service like this is VERY RARE to find these days. Every time i come into the store she always greets me with a lovely smile even through the face mask, goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for customers and creates a relatable human reaction which is so refreshing. she is one of the main reasons i only go to that safeway Starbucks, AWESOME SERVICE 👏

Good old safeway. Clean, bright, organized items, good selections.

I loved the experience as far as shopping goes. Excellent options when it comes to food, drink, beer, wine and liquor. As far as the checkout process goes it was absolutely horrible. I waited on line to check out two six packs of beer for 45 mins (I know, I should have just left! ). There were two registers open in the entire place, not counting the self service registers. Even the 15 items or less counters were closed. At the self service registers we werent able to check ourselves out because the rule is that you need to be at a register with a staff member to buy any form of alcohol (meanwhile any normal place allows you to scan the booze at the self checkout counter and then a staff member comes over to check your ID). The cashier was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! This dude was absolutely pathetic, meanwhile theres a line down to the other side of the store. Horrible experience, Ill never come again.

Hectic. Parking was tight. Self checkout attendent was on his phone texting and barely helpful.

This location is my favorite local store. The store is clean, always well stocked (even the toilet paper!), and produce is clean and fresh. The lines are usually a bit long, but what isnt these days?

I went to Safeway in Corde Madera tonight to load up on this yogurt Im a little piggy for at the moment, when on my way to the self check out line I discover they have mini size Heath bars on sale. Im bending down trying to scan price tag when a very pretty female employee ( management I believe )takes pity on me & shows me how to scan bar code on the bag of candy instead in order to get the coupon price. Ive experienced very good customer service at this Safeway and other Safeways as well. I worked at Albertsons a million years ago so I know how hard dealing with the public can be, its often a thankless job and some people are complete A - holes even as your trying to help them... So I want to say thank you to all the Safeway employees who have been kind and helpful to me over the years 😘

The location in Corte Madera is sometimes crowded and they really direct people to the self checkout lanes as much as possible, which isnt ideal because if there is a bottle of wine in your cart, youll have to wait for the humans-only line. That being said, the people who Ive interacted with (at least at Corte Madera) are professional, helpful and friendly.

They really cleaned up their act at the store I opened the last few years. The store is cleaner, food is displayed more appropriately, and the employees are much more on top of things and polite!

Convenient shopping experience

Went in to the Corte Madera store for my NYE dinner, granted solo. Out of advertised 2 day flash sale of lobster tails for $4.99 and whole Foster Farms Chicken at $.99 lb. What a disaster! Ill never set foot in another Safeway again!! Ruined my NYE!!

Cleanest Safeway Ive ever been to and there was no wait at the registers! My only reason for not giving them a perfect score is the lady didnt let the guy grab his groceries before me before she started throwing all my groceries down the lane. A little more human interaction and compassion would have been ok... Perhaps thats why there was no line.

A full blown Marin County grocery store, with everything food and more, youd expect to find, in such a place, in this day and age, except a pharmacy. But...this particular Safeway, is located within a large modern day mall, and there are several drug stores, with pharmacys, scant seconds away. So this particular Safeway is upscale, and located in an affluent community. The employees have always been helpful and cheerful to me. Happy food shopping!

Cafeteria needs TLC, cleaned tables and counters would be nice. Store is well stoked and prices are not going to break your pocket book.

I recently moved to Corte Madera what a mistake!WI- FI does not work which makes it impossible to use the Safeway app(useless) self check out employees are rude(some); they make you feel like you are stealing, customer service does not exist unless you are Caucasian, groceries are more expensive than other Safeway stores. Employees need to be educated on how to treat everyone equally.

This is for Terra Linda store...big old place...have almost everything..I think its open 24,hrs....clean....has friendly staff....the later u go the nicer to shop....has great deli n a pharmacy w nicest staff u can have....tons of parking n in an area full of shops n stores....has its own Starbucks n great floral Dept...great produce ....nice crowd...if u wanna cruise n check others doing same go after 12pm...meet someone nice....this is a suggestion not heard about most Safeways...haha

We have shopped a CMTC Safeway for years. The staff is always right there and helpful. Aways have fresh food at the ready. Need something special boom off the clerk goes returning with the treasured item. Thanks guys.

Really poor on stocking. Right now I’m looking at 17 rows of Orowheat whole wheat bread which are priced reduced because clearly they have too much. Yet they only have one row of Honey wheat berry bread which is always sold out. Pro tip: go around your store on weekends and see what is always sold out, and ORDER MORE OF THAT !! 🤦🏼‍♀️And the deli is a nightmare. They have no bell or ticket system and all the deli employees hide in the back so they won’t have to wait on customers and there is no bell so you just have to wait around and desperately try to make eye contact so they will acknowledge you.

Like most grocery chains they are still promoting mostly sugar and chemically filled foods that are heavily processed.I avoid shopping there as much as possible.

Like most Albertsons/Safeway stores, VERY CLEAN & extremely friendly/eager to help personnel! 😃 The ONLY thing I dont like is that they charge for grocery bags; its a trivial amount rather the principal of such is bothersome since youre buying their products I feel they should provide you č bags... not all Safeways charge for bags in my experience; just depends on the area and the larger the city, the greater the likelihood; especially an area like/near San Francisco for example. Other than that, great story!
