We were traveling and needed to have our trailer hitch ball tightened. They did not have the tool but called the local automotive supply and had them bring the wrench they needed. The auto parts store loaned them the wrench. They fixed it and sent us on our way. No charge! That is awesome service. Thank you.

This place saved me!Was on vacation and got a flat in the mountains and was recommended to go here. They took care of me right away and was very friendly and effective. Even suggested another tire store up the street that might have the same tire I had in my pickup called them...they were not so nice ...so went with the fast friendlier ppl whom had me on my way within an hour! In the middle of our road trip we noticed our tire sensor pressure was low. Stopped in here and had it checked out. My son has Down Syndrome and was becoming antsy. They gave me coloring book and did what they could to get to our car, even though they were busy. These employees were so accommodating, and come to find out in the end it was a easy fix and they sent us on our way with no charge. It was peace of mind for the rest of our 5 hour road trip knowing it was all okay. Great humans! Great customer service. Thank you so much! ❤️

Well I was in a bind. Had a tire on my new car with a nail in it and losing too much air to leave the area. They got me in asap to verify and rushed a tire from Denver. Less than 48 hours and we are back on the road. The team there were great, I highly recommend them!

Big O tires did a fantastic job taking care of us! While pulling out of grandparents cabin, to get back to Phoenix, we realized one of our tires was completely flat. We changed it to the spare tire and came to this location to get the other one patched back up. We had dog, two small children and truck all packed up. I think they took mercy upon our situation and within 30 minutes we were on the road. They even said no charge. Thank you Big O Tires!!! You now have loyal customers from us, & grandparents we were visiting.Edited to add: had to change our 5 star review to 3 sadly. Once we hit the road we made multiple stops but the longest one in flagstaff. That’s when husband noticed pressure went from 37, to 31. Pumped tire back up since we only had 140 miles left of our 440 mile trip. When we got back to Phoenix we took to our usual tire place and they said the patch wasn’t done correctly. I wish Big O had just told us that when we were there so we could have made the choice if we felt safe driving with our family knowing that.

Called to set up appointment. It’s walk in only. Waited about a hour for the 4 guys to change out 2 tires. After driving 300 ish miles they seem to be wearing very decent they did a excellent job with the balance there is absolutely no shake

Very helpful when we got a nail in our tire. I appreciate them helping me find good quality tires at a reasonable cost. I also appreciate that they offer a warranty on their tires.

As I was recently watching pictures of a holiday in 2011 I remembered having problems with a tire as I travelled thru Cortez. I was permanently losing air and so I dropped by a Big O. Instead of selling me an expensive new tire people at Big O found the problem and fixed the old one. It was only a small piece of wire that had to be removed. They charged 15 Bucks. Professional, honest and quick work and a great and very friendly staff. Great contribution to a super journey.

Big O Tires completely deserves this 5 stars! They are absolutely incredible. I was out of town for work with a rental car (NEVER RENT FROM FOX RENT A CAR). The car had been shaking as we drove and it got to a point where we deemed it unsafe to continue driving at high speeds. We were just outside of Cortez, CO so we ended up at this location.Fox Rent A Car refused to pay for the repair to their vehicle. They wanted me to front the cost and then get reimbursed. I didnt not want to wait 6 weeks to get reimbursed, nor did I completely trust them to reimburse me.This delayed our trip by 3 hours while we tried to deal with Fox Rent A Car. The point came where one of the guys at Big O found a used tire that was the right size. They put it on our car and sent us on our way. This is a great location, and the people who worked here were absolutely the best. I am extremely grateful for what they did as it saved us a ton of headaches that we would have continued to have with Fox rent a car.Also, one of the girls at the desk (I unfortunately do not recall her name) was particularly helpful in this process!! THANK YOU!!

Poor customer service plain and simple

Good customer service, a bit slow. They were having a busy Friday morning, so what was estimated at 45 minutes to fix and change a flat, turned into 1.25 hours

Unfortunately they were not able to help me - but since I was travelling, I appreciated that we established that quickly.

The crew was great,friendly, got us in quickly and appreciated they wore mask 😷 They have customers for life 😀 😄

Even after getting price quotes and using other stores, big os quality, pricing, and customer service is the best in town. They are very good at discounting services for veterans, first responders, etc.

Okay we rented a car from fox rental in SLC. We somehow made it to this store on our way home because the car needed a tire. Long story short we spent 3 hours waiting for the rental company to allow big o to replace a bad tire. Big o was busy and didnt have time for a car to take up space for 3 hours but they handled everything including all cost because the rental car place wouldnt pay. Keep in mind we didnt have a spare tire in the rental car (for some reason)

I was a hapless tourist with what i thought was a low tire. It was closing time, but one of the techs ran right out and checked them all faster than i could blink.Next morning, same tire now flat. Back i go. Al( forgive me if i got your namre wrong) takes the jeep in right away. 4 ( yes four!) minutes after arriving thaey found the culprit- a screw punctured the sidewall. Al came right over, explained the situation and said he would be on the phone with the rental agency asapLong story short- they didn’t have the replacement, put on the spare and wished me well He even insisted i return later that day to retorque the nuts. All for no charge!A fantastic amout of customer service that is so lacking elsewhere these days. Kudos to Al and his “can Do” team!

Have gotten my oil changed, flat tire fixed and purchased 4 new tires with this team. They are so professional and easy to work with to get anything done. Great prices, good follow up and excellent customer service!

Fast and friendly service for our RV tires.

This place was great, the gentleman that helped me was truly concerned about the proper inflation of my tires. He checked the air pressure in each one and adjusted them properly. I was not charged for this service. I was on the road and away from my home, or any place that was familiar, and he took care of me. Quick, courteous and friendly.

Our son/daughter in law had issues w a low tire on their truck and they were able to get the issue resolved very quickly. And then we noticed how HORRIBLE the tread was on our camper tires. So we were able to bring our camper early and they replaced all of them while we were out doing our already planned tourist activities. Great job, thanks for doing everything so quickly! Great customer service

Very good customer service. We only wanted a tire rotation and we had a stripped bolt which took 3 days to get.

Big O Tires originally assessed that my brake job would cost $700, but when they got in there to do the work they found that the rotors did not need replacing, so it was much less. I appreciate their honesty. Great service overall now and on other occasions.

Long way from home, last thing you want to find is a screw in your tire leaking air. These guys got us in, fixed & on the road in 30 min. They even checked the others for good measure. Great work team, thanks!

Good people, good shop

Stopped by last Saturday on long road trip with rented BMW. We had been battling a slow tire leak. Big O got us right in, took off the tire and found a nail puncture that could not be repaired. Because it required a fancy tire we had to go on without a new tire, just trying to keep inflated. Big O got us back on the road and didn’t charge us a dime! Honest and excellent service. Can’t go wrong here.

As always, Adam and Brett were awesome. Professional and super friendly. As long as they are there, I will be back.

I took my car in on 11/12/2019 to have Big O tires order a control arm and once it was ready they would install it as well as two new tires and an alignment.They looked my car over and said they would order the part and they were having trouble finding this part so they would have to call me once the part was found to schedule the job.I never received a call so I took my car in again on 11/20/2019 only to find out who ever I spoke to before never bothered to order the part.So I expressed to them I need to have this done before Thanksgiving week in order to drive to Phoenix to see my family for Thanksgiving as well as be there to celebrate my Father and Brothers Birthday.I work weekends and go to school weekday. This was my only time to see them.I was told they ordered the part and it would arrive the 11/22 or 11/23 and so we scheduled to have my car to be dropped off the 11/23 and was told it would be ready some time on Monday the 25th.I received a call from them on 11/23 to be informed the wrong part was ordered and would contact the manufacturer directly to order the right part. It is now Monday the 25th and they never called me back.So I called them again and the guy that was supposed to order the part is off and no one knows when or if the control arm is coming.This is the first time I have ever had an issue with this company. I have been extremely patient and understand but there is obviously a major problem with this stores employees.The laziness, incompetence and total disregard for customer service is like nothing I have ever experienced.I have always tried to give the benefit of the doubt because customers service is hard and stressful to the employees.This is wrong and should be fixed. Because I am now going to miss this short period of time I had to see my family.

Stopped in while on a six week road trip with my family from Pennsylvania. We were having problems with brakes on my van. Nolan greeted us and was very professional and friendly. I got a dead battery in my jeep while staying here in Cortez. It was a Saturday, usually the busiest day of their work week. I called them to see if they had a battery that fit and they had one left in stock. They put it aside for me until AAA could come to my motel and jump start me. I drove down the street to Big O and they got me right in and while we ate breakfast across the street they installed the new battery and got us on our way. The service and employees here are the best. Thank you!

Excellent service. Ordered a couple of odd ball tires for my tow dolly. Within days they had the tires in hand. Installed this past Monday morning, in and out 45 minutes later. Excellent service.

My experience at Big O Tires on early Saturday morning, November 10th was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. And with that friendliness was prompt service in getting me 4 snow tires on my Ford Escape and very much appreciated knowledge and help I needed in being newly moved to this area. The whole again was friendly; however the young man Brett that helped me was outstanding! He was so nice and a great help to me the entire time I was there.The O in this Big O Tires store should be Outstanding! Thank you Brett and to the entire staff. Big O Tires is now my tire service store!P.S. My snow tires came in handy and a great help when the snow came on Monday, November 12 for my commute to Durango....just in time!

Great and fast

Love them! These men are all so kind and helpful. I came in because my car was wobbling and I was afraid I had a bad tire. I was right, they swapped it out for my spare tire, changed my oil, and rotated my tires all for $43. They are the best!

Cant thank the men of Big O enough. I found myself on 07-18-2012 in need of a rear hub assembly repair. Note I was vacationing through from Columbus OH and found myself in much needed emergency repair. I first contacted the local Ford dealer - and was greeted with - we have an opening in 5 days. Big O shifted their morning schedule to quickly analyze the problem - threw a loaner vehicle my way so I could take family to breakfast - and repaired the car by noon. Price was reasonable, in comparison with Ohio prices. I was completely satisfied with the entire experience and the repair ran without a hitch for the next 1,600 miles back home. This is my first ever review. They earned good marks.

Brake light came on during trip. Found these guys via the Yellow Pages. They did a free, extensive brake check and found the rear brakes in bad shape. Chris did an outstanding job the old fashioned way and at a very reasonable price. They easily could have tried to up-sell me since I was out of town and out of state. They have earned my business next time I blow through Cortez--a favorite place of ours. A real Colorado town w/real people. Made the 420 mile return trip w/out problems. Brakes never worked this good even when the vehicle was new!
