Really friendly young woman there, helped this weary old traveler buying beer, figure out where I might find cashews. I noticed how nice she was to the previous customer, and enjoyed the opportunity to all to briefly, interact with her myself. She was one of those folks you would like to sit down with for a long chat, perhaps?

G Whil Liquors and Eagle Claw are the only two liquor stores I choose to go to. (Dont know about T Box Liquors.) Liquid Assets, Cork and Bottle, and West Slope are all in town and so you have to pay sales tax over the out off town liquor stores, but that is life, you save more than the taxes by not going out of town... heres the problem, West Slope, Cork and Bottle, and Liquid Assets all decide to raise their internal pricing on any alcohol that those who are the poorest end up selecting; I have heard For YEARS that this is done in the hopes of forcing people these stores consider to be too low on the social ladder to be in their stores.... even more than that, poor people arent their main target if the gossip of decades is accurate, these stores are attempting to dissuade not only poor people in general from darkening their doors, its said they are discriminating against Natives.One way or the other, I dont put up with superiority complexes OR charging more just because... They can just keep thinking theyre all that and Ill keep my money!!

Went here on my way to Mesa Verde NP, well priced, clean, good selection, employees were very polite.

If youre in town make sure you go to private owned liquor stores as the gas station sells you 3.2 beer the liquor stores sell 6% beer and a bit cheaper.The staff was also friendly and they have cold mixers so you dont have to stop elsewhere for your liquor bottles mixers.The prices - are okay - they are a bit cheaper elsewhere....
