This place was fantastic! My mother was stranded 5 hours from home visiting my son at college when she had car troubles. We called and spoke to Kirk who said bring it over we will diagnose it and see what needs to be done. She brought the car to them and was told it would be done by 12 the next day. Well they actually got it done the same day. I can’t tell you how polite and understanding they were and jumped right on getting her car fixed. It saved me a 10 hour round trip to tow her car home especially on the weekend! Thank you Kirk and Steve for your fast work!

Made an appointment for a vehicle inspection without any problem at a time convenient for me. Inspection was done on a timely manner. The employees were courteous and helpful.

My daughter and I were traveling back to Georgia and hit a pothole on I-81 South. It damaged our drivers side rim. The staff was very professional and were able to get us back on the road again. They got the dent out of the rim and put a new tire on my daughters vehicle and got us back home safely. Thank you!

Do not go here!!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. They were extremely rude. My car was in the shop for a few days before they even looked at it. They totally skipped my appointment. They wanted to charge me $5,000 for $700 worth of work. They are uneducated and very rude. Definitely go somewhere else. They might do a good job replacing tires but anything that requires any knowledge what so ever. I would definitely pass!

We called about a flat tire on our Jeep. They immediately told us we needed 4 new tires without even checking the tread on the tires. Over $500 later.. we should have only had to replace 1. Appreciate being taken advantage of👍

6 pm, Friday June 8, 2018... Southbound I-81in Syracuse, pot hole popped my camper tire as I was driving to destination many states South. Luckily I could milk it on a spare to Cortland. We called in advance to see if they had the size tire we needed andmiraculously they did.Very friendly and very responsive and very in tuned with our travel needs before they closed at 7pm.Highly recommend this store as they are very professional and polite. A quality hard to find these days.

Stopped in while visiting from out of town, my car making a sudden and terrible noise. I stopped in to Mr. Tire and they said they could definitely look but itd be an hour wait, which was no problem for me on such short notice. They took no contact info from me. When I called back to give them my phone number and contact info, they said that my car was absolutely undriveable and that I needed a new transmission. I had it towed to Royal down the street, who called me this morning and said that the noise was gone and it was likely a pebble stuck between my brake pad and rotor. I live over an hour away and had to inconvenience a friend on a Sunday night because all of the rental shops in cortland were closed. Now I will have to drive all the way back to cortland to pick up my vehicle that I now know I never needed to leave behind in the first place. Worst experience ever, thanks for a huge waste of time Mr. Lame.

This no good rotten place has nothing but a bunch of no good thieves that work here! Had a flat tire, they said it was no good and tried to sell me tires for $450.00 +tax & mounting when Talmadge tires fixed it $20.00 ! Nobody should go here unless they have a lot of money to just give away ! The 1 star is because you have to give them something but they dont even deserve that

Best place to take your car. Our car broke down and we were stranded. The man behind the counter made calls and helped me find the part we needed. Then Royale Subaru got me the part in 3 hours. I sat for 5 hours but they helped let me know something was wrong with my car. I trust them all the way. My car rides so much better after having the driveshaft replaced. If you need anything I would come here.

The person who first worked on my vehicle was very helpful. Unfortunately that person is no longer there and now this place thinks its okay to not tell a customer when they have an oil leak after charging $90 for an oil change. They also decided to tell me that the car manufacturer was lying to me about the oil leak. The car manufacturer also called out that the oil filter hadnt been changed and this is the only place ive had my oil changed at while living in this area for the past year. If you want quality work done, I do not recommend this Mr Tire one bit.

We had an emergency with our tire as we were leaving our hotel. They fixed it quickly and were fair, honest and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Mr. Tire on Clinton Ave in Cortland offers excellent service in a timely manner. The manager, Kirk, is very knowledgeable. I have a great experience at store #1329 every time I have an issue with my car. Appointments are easy to make, usually same day or with in 24 hours. Prices are reasonable and the quality of their work is superb. If you want it fixed quickly and correctly the first time for reasonable price, stop by Mr. Tire at 149 Clinton Ave in Cortland, NY and ask for Kirk.

We are from out of state and had a double blow out on 81. AAA wanted us to go somewhere else but they were closing and unable to accommodate us. The staff at Mr. Tire was friendly, helpful and got us back on the road as quick as they could. They didnt talk about a closing time even though it was getting close. I would recommend this facility to anyone!!

Great customer service. I’ve had several repairs where they could have easily sold me an expensive, brand new part or tire and told me I needed it but they were honest and safely repaired it for a fraction of the cost. Just want to say that these guys are amazing, polite and very professional !!!!! We were driving home to Canada and a rear indicator light burnt out. We stopped there and they changed it for us immediately. We could drive home in the dark and feel safe thanks to them. Highly recommend this Service center.

I had a bad shake/vibration with my car. Called & was able to get in to have it looked at the same day, 30mins later none the less. I ended up not just needing a balance, but needing a new tire. Luckily there were some in stock & I was able to drive home safely with 2 new tires. Thank you very much! Your service was excellent. Ill be stopping back again.

I have never had any problems getting work done on my car. They are fair with prices and extremely friendly and they get whatever you done in a timely fashion. More people should go there!! Give them more business!

This Mr. Tire location is great! My husband and I have two older vehicles that are constantly in need of maintenance and the Mr. Tire guys never fail to take care of us. They will always take me in the shop and show me exactly whats wrong and exactly what part has broken and what its supposed to look like so I know Im not paying for something I dont need. Service is super quick (even on busy days), especially if you make an appointment. I wont take my truck anywhere else in town.

This place was BEYOND incredible. My friend and I went in with two broken door latches about 20 minutes before they were about to closed. They fixed the first door completely and was able to tie the back door completely closed so my friend could get home (who lives over an half an hour away) until the latch could actually get replaced. The service was amazing. The staff was so nice and wonderful to chat with! I would so go back with anymore issues and recommend everyone else should too. They treated us just like family which was incredible and made the awful experience with the car trouble so much better!

Every time I come everyone is very friendly and is upbeat and happy. Top customer service. Always busy so it is best to call ahead and make an appointment. Theyre very quick and professional. If they spot a problem they will let you know right away and walk you through every option. The only place I go for oil changes.

Came in right before close because 2 of my doors wouldnt shut. My friend was holding them both shut on the drive there. I live 40 mins away so I was desperate. They were super nice and fixed one but the other one needed a bit more work so they tied it shut good for me so that I could get home. All free of charge. The guys were all really nice and down to earth and just wanted to make sure I could get home safe. Theyre really life savers I highly recommend this place!

I had a screw in my tire and was loosing tire pressure. I don’t live in Cortland and needed to get home. I was having a hard time finding a garage to fix my tire. Mr Tire staff got my car in and fixed in under ten minutes. They were kind enough not to charge for their time. I appreciate what they did.

We went there on a Saturday evening with a flat tyre. They fitted us with snow tyres (belonging to a different customer, but with their permission) temporarily because they did not have the exact tyres for our car. Couldnt be bothered to clean the blue off my new tires. Also there was 2 weights on the outside of one of the tires... not professional.*edit*Brought another work truck here today 1/16/20I paid over $100 to have tires mounted and balanced. I got home and loaded truck back up and noticed tires looked soft. They were set between 25 to 35psi. My truck calls for 44psi front and 80psi rear loaded 51 psi unloaded.My air compressor isnt set up in winter time so Im using a $15.00 emergency 12 volt tire inflator. With needed cool down every 10 to 15 minues it was an hour to get front tires to 40psi to support the 700# plow to get me to the garage down the road from me to get air set right. I told them this is a work truck and I need it for my plow route the next morning. Now Im getting started over 1 hour late to plow 40 drives and a few lots. Not happy at all. I recommend checking work thoroughly before payment.Tech also forgot one of my hub caps and 2 of the tire valve caps.Lowering to 1 star

Headed down to southern Pa to visit family with the wife. Ran over the business end of a screwdriver. Almost 5 PM on a Friday and most auto shop places were closing. Found Mr. Tire Auto Service and they said bring it in. Really nice staff and personnel. Had it patch/plugged in short order and didnt charge me! I will bring my business here in the future. Our experience with this location restored our faith that there are good people in the world! We had a tire blowout on Rt. 81, and the AAA service truck brought our car to Mr. Tire. It was a brand new car and new tire, and they didnt have it in stock. But all three guys who were there immediately got on their computers to find us a tire. Once found, it was not able to be delivered til the next day - and we needed to get back on the road. We tried to rent a car in Cortland, but Enterprise was out of cars. The nearest available rental car was in Syracuse. We reserved it and then had to figure out how to get to Syracuse to pick it up. Jon Blackmer, the district manager for Mr. Tire, was one of the guys there that day, and he offered to drive us to Syracuse because he was headed there next anyway. People dont seem to treat each other in such a friendly and helpful manner these days - Mr. Blackmer went above and beyond and wouldnt even let us give him a tip when we arrived in Syracuse. His exceptional kindness reflects the lovely person he is. We picked up our car 3 days later on our return trip, and when we remarked again on everyones kindness to us, one of the guys said they try to treat everyone that way. What a wonderful group of people work here!!! Thank you all for everything!

Awesome experience on a trip from Syracuse to PA had an emergency stopped at this place for the first time to fix my old 1998 truck and an hour later I was back on the road with a great experience on a Friday afternoon. Could no recommend them enough!

Very slow. The staff kept telling their situation as if it is the customers issue. I dropped my car by noon and came back 5:30 the car was still not done. It was a simple tire rotation. I had to wait to 7pm when they closed. In addition, the mechanic is poorly trained and damaged my wheel locks. Had to do a second trip.Update: they didnt charge me for the second trip for my bad experience. Tires done and regular screws put in. More training needed for techs on communication and maintenance to reduce such incidents.
