I had an appointment with Suzette. She made me feel comfortable and at the same time was very knowledgeable. She has been there every step of the way, as has the Cortland hearing aid team. We had a wonderful experience with Ashley at Cortland Hearing Aids. She test my Mom and who didn’t believe she had hearing loss, however it was verified that she had moderate loss in one ear and severe in the other. When she tried on the hearing aids, my Mom was truly amazed at what she could hear. For the past two years she had significant hearing loss, but didn’t realize it. She thought we were all whispering. Ashley explained everything very clearly, gave us options and all in all it was a very delightful experience . My Mom was so happy to know she would be able to hear as once did by next week! WooHoo!!!

Cortland Hearing Aids is a well organized, totally professional organization in all respects. I am a long-time wearer of hearing aids so my questions and concerns were based on a lot of experience, probably more complicated than some peoples. Answers were clear and accurate. And their prices are far more reasonable than other audiologists I have used.

Friendly and efficient, including the greeting at the front desk to my visit with Ashley. What I really liked is that there is no pressure to upgrade my hearing aids to the newest and best. That means the customer’s interests come first. I look for that in all providers.

I had been working with another Audiologist and was recommended to go see Cortland Hearing Aids, it was a great decision. All of the staff I have worked with have been fantastic, especially Ashley. She is very pleasant and matter of fact, which when you are struggling can be very helpful. Our experience at Cortland Hearing Aids was exceptional! The Audiologist was informative, clear in her explanations, pleasant and knowledgeable! The receptionist and finance person were both very pleasant and helpful. The building and rooms were bright and cheery! This was an incredibly comfortable and pleasant experience for both my husband and myself. If you are having difficulty with hearing, this is the place to go!

A beautifully renovated building with kind and attentive staff. I am new to needing hearing aids, and Ashley was patient, genuine, and great at explaining everything to me. Even though she has a lot of patients, she has still made time for me every time Ive called with more questions. You can tell that they really care about helping people here.

All of the personnel at Cortland Hearing Aids are super! I had great care, and could definitely hear more acutely with the hearing aids. Im just very stubborn and my ears are extremely sensitive, so I have elected not to wear the hearing aids at this time. I had an extremely positive experience at Cortland Hearing Aids. Ashley was very patient and spent a number of office visits with me, always working diligently with me to keep improving my hearing using the new aids I had purchased. Adjustments were cheerfully made and her experience in doing so were very well done. In addition she made me aware of several other pieces of technology that could be used with the hearing aids to improve the whole experience; eg, cell phone app, TV streamer, remote transmitter, and charging device. There were lots of good options available and I would readily recommend the TV streamer and remote. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with and Ashley was simply terrific.

I received a hearing test that was professionally administered and where the results were fully explained. The result was that my hearing is still good. If/when I do suffer some hearing loss, I definitely will return to Cortland Hearing Aids for help.

After putting it off for years, I finally got the full-blown hearing test at Cortland Hearing Aids and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I receive testing and appliance suggestions from a professional hearing aid specialist, which I expected, but they made me feel they were really concerned with my hearing welfare, which I hadnt.

Hearing Aides – a subject I found to have a lot of negative attention.My experience came in a discussion with my wife. I said to her that I think one of us has a hearing problem. My first mistake was it seemed to imply her. Well we got a mailing to have a free hearing test from Cortland Hearing Aids. That was her chance to set thinks right. She made the appointments to have us both have hearing tests.Well the short story is she was not the one with the problem. I was tested and found that low frequency (Hz) was mild and I had a drop in high frequency (Hz) hearing level(Db) and I had hearing loss in both ears.This is why we had a problem. I didn’t hear my wife clearly at times, or I only heard part of what she said, and it was not always accurate.The next event surprised me. Cortland Hearing Aids fitted me with a new set of Oticon hearing aids and they walked me through getting used to them.After purchasing them, I am hearing much clearer and better quality. I am hearing other people when talking in groups. Oh yes, being a tech geek, I love they are a Bluetooth to my smart phone.Oh, by the way, my wife and I can now have a stable conversion and the TV sound is a lot lower and I can hear the birds sing.Cornel Lamey
