John is a fantastic guitar player and teacher. He contributes musically and civically to the community. He is a role model in his behavior and beliefs. John donates large amounts of his time to building the musical community in Corvallis by facilitating master classes and concerts for amateurs and professionals alike. As a parent and psychotherapist here in town, I feel grateful that other parents can feel so safe about entrusting their children to a teacher with good boundaries as well as good guitar techniques.

Jon is a great teacher with a deep knowledge of music and a passion to bring the beauty of guitar performance to the community. His studio is a great place to learn classical guitar skills. Jon is a generous and gifted guitar teacher. As an adult learner he has made playing the guitar attainable for me, as he is extraordinarily patient and gentle. Jon has been a gift to our music community. He was instrumental in starting the Corvallis Guitar Society, and when a local music shop closed, he stepped up by offering Cordoba Guitars at his studio.

Do not shop here. Terrible experience with buying equipment because the owner is emotionally volatile and unreasonable. $400 waste of money and at least 3 hours of being talked at. Had to block the owner because of his verbal abuse.

Its actually my studio and I very much enjoy being there 😃
