The best shop in CM, and in my Top 2 of all of OC. Great selection of kratom, glass, papers, etc. All priced extremely fair. The staff are maybe the most friendly people I’ve ever met in OC, and will go above and beyond to hell with even the smallest purchase. I try to stop by anytime I’m in the area, even if I don’t need anything.

I made a purchase recently at Up In Smoke, and when I got home, I realized a very small issue with part of my purchase. When I came back, Jamal was quick to help resolve the small issue. He apologized and fixed the problem with kindness, and gave me no trouble at all. The store is clean, has alot of variety, and I was welcomed when entering the store, and told to have a great night when exiting. I felt like a person, and not just another shopper. Thanks Jamal! I’ve been a loyal customer to this store for a long time and never leave without spending at least $50+ sometimes multiple times a week. When I called to let the owner know that two honey straws I purchased malfunctioned the same days I bought them, didn’t even last 24 hours, and I get told that they will contact the distributor and try to get it dealt with. The integrity of the glass was the problem. They were advertised as being quartz tipped which is simply not true. Something with a quartz tip does not SNAP away after being heated not even 4 seconds. There’s been several times where I’ve been disappointed by the owner of this store. The same day I purchased the 2nd straw I asked for a quartz tip for a nectar collector, which I had purchased a few days before and just needed a second. The owner told the sales person to show me full sets of nectar collectors instead. Shovenism at its finest. As a woman I just automatically need to be pushed to buy something more expensive right. When I bought the one a few days prior there was a basket of at least 40. This has been the attitude myself and several friends of mine have received shopping at this store. I normally don’t complain and will eat whatever I buy if it has issues but I felt like after as much money as I’ve spent here I should call and notify them. The owners response was as I expected. He did not offer me anything other than to TRY and get the manufacturer to replace it (telling me several times that he would not be promising anything). These are straws that I’m sure are purchased from DHGate for pennies. Clearly being a loyal customer means nothing. I wasn’t offered store credit, I was only told that he couldn’t prove if I was being truthful so it was a shot in the dark. My money will be going elsewhere from now on to a store where loyalty actually matters.

Best shop for anything your looking for in this smoking world. Never a negative comment I can even think of with the kind of service from anyone youll find working here. You will not find better prices or a more honest staff. I will drive past 5 to 10 shops in respect to the service and prices Ive gotten again and again now at this Up in Smoke.

I called to ask if they had blow torches and asked how much they ran for. I was told they don’t discuss prices over the phone. I would not have taken up much more of the guy’s time. It would’ve been nice to be given a range or at least the starting price so I could know how much to expect to pay. Probably won’t be going to any of the locations.

Came in looking for a pain remedy for my back problems. Guys working were very helpful and knowledgeable of their products. Got me exactly what I needed quickly and at a great price. Their kratom is top quality and, from looking around at their pieces for a second, so is their glass. even threw in a bottle of OJ to wash it down. Go here first, and you wont need to go anywhere else for any of your smoke shop needs. Thanks guys!

Great prices but the owner can be a bit gruff and argues. Vape fluid selection is very limited. I bought a 120 oz Glazed Donuts by Loaded. The price and flavors for this brand name is very affordable and flavorful.

So i went to this location today to grab myself my first rig because ive decided to start using wax/shatter/crumble/etc. since flower doesnt do the job for me much anymore! i called to ask about prices and the man who answered was very helpful and kind, so i went in and the place is super clean! they are really friendly and the gentleman who helped me was very informative about how i should use and handle all the items i was purchasing, which i genuinely appreciate a lot because other places dont give you any advice or tips or instructions. the guys at Up In Smoke were actually knowledgeable about their product and im so glad i stopped by! i was helped by Ferris(hope im spelling that correctly) and he showed me several different models and then i settled on a beautiful, perfectly sized rig with a quartz nail and it hits so smooth! it is perfect for a novice user like myself! and Ferris told me all the things i needed to know to get the perfect use out of my rig. everything he said came in very handy and i am really stoked that i came in to the shop today. ill definitely be back when i upgrade to a larger rig, or whenever i need a new bubbler or anything! this place is awesome and id definitely recommend them! they are honest, friendly, have quality product, and the prices are unbeatable! thanks a ton for all the help! if youre in need of quality smoke gear then this place has what youre looking for!

This guy who claimed to be an owner forcefully escorted me out of the shop; and I personally felt violated, disrespected, humiliated, when Ive gone out of y way to bring him business. WOW! What a guy, if love to catch him off the clock and out of his discredit business an square up like men!

Efficient and sharp staff. They provided a down to earth conversation as well as a quick solution to a problem I had encountered. I would not suggest going anywhere but Up In Smoke located in Costa Mesa, CA.

The owner, Morod, convinced me a product that he suggested would work in a way other than its intended purpose. When the his product didnt work at home, I came to the store to return or exchange it. When I arrived, the owner flipped out and told me he would not accept an exchange because - he claims - he previously warned me it might burn out. What disturbs me now, as I reflect on the incident, is that he didnt take the time to listen to what the problem was. If he had, he would have realized that the issue had nothing to do with the product burning out, but rather that his product simply never functioned as a he said it would. Instead, he lost his cool, leaned over the counter and became verbally violent and aggressive. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe and a friend needed to step in to mediate. The owner claimed that I was bothering his employees earlier in the week; thankfully an employee witness overheard this and vouched for me, as Ive actually been quite nice and cordial. I had to come to this store 3 times in one week because of the owners absence (apparently only he can work with customers on these issues on the days he chooses to be present). To anybody that decides to shop there, please do your research on items and know what to buy before going there, or else you may be victim to being ripped off or mistreated by the owner. Im leaving one star because while he ultimately allowed me to exchange my product, the experience continues to leave a bad taste in my mouth.In response to owners comment: The owners response to my review clearly confirms the extent to which he and his business are willing to put a lie in black and white. His lip service about taking customer service seriously is comical; his customer service was quite lacking in my case (3 trips to the store to have my issue addressed ...really?). Moreover, his response indicates his twisted belief that past reviews should protect him from unethical behavior. This is a clear case of selling a faulty product and then attempting to backdoor his way out of responsibility for it by claiming that he warned me of a possible product burn out. He continues to perpetuate this fairy tale in his response above; when in actuality, his response simply re-demonstrates that his is not willing to get it regarding the products functionality, which he misrepresented. My experience did not happen without several witnesses.I considered letting all of this go, without a review, but his behavior during the exchange and afterward continued to appall me. His claim that I broke the 2nd exchange product, and his ban from the store, are comical attempts to save face on YELP and, frankly, to his employees, as he plainly embarrassed himself when he lost his temper ... as if I would want to return to support such an unethical establishment, yuck.As to the exchanged product that I broke, Ive submitted it to the manufacturer who is now replacing it after verifying that the charger malfunctioned and is covered under the warranty. Ill be sure to submit pictures when I can. Im glad the owner mentioned it because the public should know that he sold a 2nd faulty product in the exchange and was a bit of a jerk about it, again.Frankly, the owner needs to improve his ability to hold memories, not seem so out of it, and avoid showing so much white area around his eyes when hes upset.

Went here for glass on some good reviews only to find that its just another cheap import store with horribly thin Chinese glass. Maybe if you needed an oil burner this is the spot for you.
