Pretty cool staff. I wouldnt recommend going here expecting to get even a quarter of the value of your used equipment, (even towards trade in value), especially for discs. The three stars are for their disc collection, staff attitude and thats about it...

Pretty good selection of disc golf discs. I try to stop by here when Im in the area.

Was a good store until I realized today after spending hundreds of dollars on multiple discs from this and the other location that they have a disc pass for when you buy 8 new discs you get money off of your 9th. Ive been to this location and the one in South Salt Lake multiple times and not one time has any employee or owner or anybody ever mentioned to me that there is this pass. Seems like a pretty terrible way to treat repeat customers.

Customer service is horrible and the guy working the front desk is rude and arrogant. I Brought in a 35lb KB and a 40lb DB to sale I got 15 dollars for the 2 which is 20 cents a lb when they resale them for 1 dollar a lb the website says they pay anywhere from 30-50% of what they will sale them for which is not true since they paid me 20% definitely will never come back to play it again sports and would recommend you don’t either especially if you’re buying weights they sale used ones for the same price you can buy brand new ones for.

My son & I really enjoyed the friendly customer service & how easy it was to get around the store. We had a great experience buying a skateboard & both workers were very helpful when we asked aboit skis & skiing. Their prices are fair & certainly lower than other sports stores. Will definitely go back.

I went there a few days ago to buy a golf club. When I picked a few out I asked a guy what ones he recommended and without looking at guality he simply told me to buy the most expensive one. Then I took it out and drove some balls with it with a couple friends and it turned out to be a really crappy club. Luckily I kept the receipt so I went back a few days later to return it and the guy said I couldn’t because there were dents in it. However, the club already had dents in it when I bought it. So then I asked if I could just sell it to them instead and he said I have to be 18 or older. So I went and grabbed my mom and she asked if we could sell it and he said we don’t sell damaged products. By then I was at the point where I wanted to walk to the back off his store and pull every club off his shelf and personally point out every single dent in them. The people working here have no intention to give you quality items but rather to get the money they want any way possible. It’s called play it again sports because the stuff they sell is used. But they won’t let me sell them a used club. Highly recommend trying out THE GEAR ROOM instead they sell quality stuff and they have fantastic customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Ryan was super helpful and knowledgeable about the inventory they had and helped me pick out the right disc for me and my throwing style. They have a huge selection of discs and other equipment, and he even told me about some leagues I could get into and other tournaments that were happening soon! I will be back for sure and I will recommend them to everyone!Thanks Ryan for all of your help!

Looking for a treadmill and exercise bike and the team here is very knowledgeable and super helpful. Also helped us get into ice skates for our little kids, again something we needed a lot of help on. Definitely check it out if youre looking at new or used sports equipment.

Awesome selection on Discs and other sports equipment. They guy was nice and knew what he was talking about. He also gave me some tips to improve my game.

Not very friendly or organized. Wouldnt take mainstream hockey equipment. Tried to buy a set of golf clubs only to be informed they were no matching and acted like I missmatched them. Overpriced stock. Guys if you are going to bend us over a barrel at least be friendly. Next time Ill go to the DI and sell my stuff on ebay

The staff was super helpful. They helped call around to see if another place had a better size for my son. Turns out Play it again had the best selection.

I was a little surprised at the prices. Its not too much more costly to watch for sales and buy new gear for many kinds of equipment.

WAY overpriced for a Play-it-again. I have never seen one so expensive. I hate to leave a review like this but I simply have to warn you. KSL and Amazon (and I honestly hate to suggest Amazon as I am a big proponent of helping out the local shops but wow was this place pricy). Customer service was lackluster at best. The young gentleman was very quick to shoot down a little bargaining. Maybe we have simply been spoiled with other locations in the past where we were regulars. Unfortunately, we will not be returning—huge bummer.

Got some baseball gloves, they were to the quality level that I would have expected. They cost just a bit more then I expected but for much less than any other option.

Just stopped in there for some disc golf discs decent prices especially used and misprinted ones!

Customer service is terrible. When selling equipment to them they see it as junk and give an insulting bid, but when someone happens to take their crappy offer and it hits the shelf they have an exorbitant mark up. Seems particular to this location, the 21st So. 7th E. store is more fair in their process.

I usually shop at the location on 700 East. I came down to this store to look for a specific color and weight disc. While browsing I found an X out disc that had been thrown. Notch out of rim and grass stains on bottom. I asked if they would mark it down as a used disc because it had been used. A simple yes or no awnser would have been fine. But the man at the desk seemed to take offense and wanted to argue. I put the disc back and bought the several others I had chosen. I dont care much about the $2 difference, but I do care about how friendly or not friendly the staff is. My $$$ will not come down here again.

If you need anything disc golf related, this store is for you. They have over five of the major disc golf brands and their pricing is the lowest I have found anywhere in the SLC Valley. The guys that were working knew a lot about the sport and were very friendly.

I have never been treated so poorly, then I was today. I brought a tote in full of sports goods. There was a red headed portly dude, who instead of trying to help me, he threw something on the counter so I could not set my tote upon it. For some reason that was his priority, when I asked him if I could set my tote up there, he said, no but you can set it down here pointing to the floor. I should also mention that I’m 9 months pregnant, it’s pretty clear that I shouldn’t bend down with a large somewhat heavy tote. First if all what is this guys deal, second of all nobodys going to want to sell anything to someone who treats them like that right off the bat. Skeevy, shiesters I will never go to a Play It Again Sports. I think the day you go out of business will be the day there is redemption to all those you have ripped off.

The prices they give you are a joke. as are the prices they charge. they did however have a really good selection of Discs

Disinterested father-and-son shop. Sought their help to sort out missing store credit from initial purchase. No help at all. Didnt care. Didnt want to push issue and felt uncomfortable, so I gave up. I should have inspected receipt closer/sooner so I could have caught over-charge and absent store credit that was promised. In short: good stuff, bad customer service.

Snowboard bindings were pretty beat up and not much help from staff. Was there to buy but left empty handed because they would shoot the breeze than help an interested customer. Plus side, this location is huge.
