We stored our items with Cubes Self Storage for a year and it was a great experience. Anytime we needed to speak with staff, Chris was extremely friendly and helpful. The unit itself was priced great for the size and the facility was very clean. As a woman, I felt safe when I had to go alone as the area is very secure and there are many moments where you need to put in your code to enter. We also were able to use their box truck for free when we first moved our items into the unit which was such a wonderful help. Thanks Chris! When we need storage again in the future, well be coming back to yall!

This is without a doubt the BEST way to set up storage! Not only is the entire facility sparkling clean and the customer service and amenities highly professional, but they even offer a free 4-hour rental of a spacious moving truck! This place is great!!! I have stored with this location multiple times over the years and will keep coming back. The facility is clean and secure. I have always taken advantage of their free moving truck, and love that they give you a price lock guarantee. I have dealt with Ashley since we first started renting back in 2014. She is great at customer service and one of the reasons we have kept coming back when we need storage! Would 10/10 recommend over any other storage facility!

I had just an amazingly good experience with this facility and its staff during an incredibly stressful move.I had just sold my house and all my worldly possessions were in a 40 container, to be off-loaded that morning into a storage locker in Cubes, Cottonwood Heights. I had made arrangements with Cubes beforehand, with Chris who understood what I needed and put it all together for me. Easy peasy!!However, I was on crutches on the day of the move-in, and it was with some trepidation that I arrived at the facility that morning, to find the truck with container already waiting there. Michelle arrived to open the Cubes office -- it turns out that Chris is out that day and shes actually the Business Manager; she knows nothing of the arrangements. And she then discovered that the Cubes computer system is out. Completely nonplussed by the situation, Michelle made it all happen -- figured out the units and whatever else, called another Cubes for computer system access, and then she went out to deal with my driver and my movers, getting them all set up while I sat inside, keeping my busted knee elevated. Impressive!!Ive been a client of this Cubes facility for going on 10 years now (I had a smaller unit before my house sale), and I have always found them easy to reach and a pleasure to deal with. The facility is scrupulously clean, halls are wide and easy to maneuver, and it is climate controlled/temperature regulated. Chris is knowledgeable and very responsive. Michelle is impressive with her can-do attitude and unruffled good cheer. I highly recommend!!!

Cubes is the best storage around! Staff is great and very helpful. Every time we have been by it has been clean and seemed super secure. This was my first time with climate controlled storage and I wont ever go back. Go with these guys!

The owner that supposedly responded to my review is not the owner. I am certain in what Ashley or Chris. You all are just a bunch of dishonest people trying to save your face. The people that work at this facility are dishonest and unethical. Who wants to do business with liars? I am so happy I got my stuff out of this place so I dont have to deal with these lying and greedy people anymore. I dont need to call customer service and I doubt customer service is your #1 priority: I believe it is ripping off people and lying while doing it. There are so many good storage unit facilities that are professional in manner and do not try to rip you off. I highly recommend seeking out these places and pass on Cubes.

I used this storage facility at the Cottonwood location in Salt Lake City. I chose this location because I sold a home down the street and I left town quickly; so convenience and location. The facility itself is ok. I never had any issues with my storage being tampered with nor did I see a lot of bugs or signs of mice inside the units. The day I was moving in I reserved the truck and I was 15 min late so the clerk which was very rude gave it to someone else. Didn’t call me to see if I was coming before she handed the keys to someone else. I needed up calling a manager and I had to go over to the Sugarhouse location to pick up a truck. Other problems I had with this awesome crew were the high prices and constantly raising the fees; the constant lying about sending notices to increase fees; and the incompetent high school educated employees that work there including Ben, Ashley, and Chris, and another manager that left I believe was Patrick. The last three people are so-called managers. They are dishonest, lie, and do not have the aptitude or skills to be a manager. I had a storage unit from 2012-2020. I was so happy to get the heck outta there and not pay another penny. I had my own lock and my lock fee was credited back to me (I have the receipt still today) but I have emails from ignorant Chris and had a conversation with Ashley about it fighting with me over a lock I bought in Washington and used at this facility. I called Mr. Ben about my fee going up when I paid online and was given a bunch of lies about being sent a notice. Ashley fessed up a admitted it did not go out in time and compensated me for their lie. Ben can’t handle no conflict has no customer service skills and he has a customer service job. Then their policy for moving out screws people. Tried to screw me too and I gave written notice prior. They lie about sending emails. Then I talked to Chris and instead of explaining to me when prorating he used a 30 day billing period as I used 31 so I find this out when I checked my receipt when I told him when the container would be packed and moved. I called lovely Ashley and she acted like she was doing me a favor by giving me a free day for $4.50. No I did that greedy A facility a favor by paying your salary of over $13,000. Peace out! Find another storage facility. There are others I have used in the valley this one was just convenient but shop around.

The storage units are clean and climate controlled. Everything feels very safe, and I’m not worried about storing my belongings here. The best part of this place, however, is the staff. They’ve wowed me, and have bent over backwards to make sure the experience here is a great.

Cubes storage Cottonwood is wonderful!! The facility is safe, clean, well-lighted and the climate-controlled units are great. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this Cubes location to anyone needing a storage facility.

I went here while I was helping my sister move. Its nice. Air conditioned and they provide you with dollies to help you move your stuff. Also theres a large elevator for those whos storage units are on the upper levels. Its also very secure. A code is required each time you use the elevator.

This is the second time I have used Cubes Self Storage Cottonwood Heights. The initial process to obtain a storage unit is simple and fast. The facility and grounds are well maintained. The units are clean and well lite. The office provides a wide variety of moving/storage supplies which are competitively priced. Rick and Ashley are informative, professional and friendly. I feel like they know their clients and keep a watch at the daily activity at the storage facility. I feel a sense of security and safety. The price I pay for the storage meets with the facility and benefits I receive from Rick and Ashley.

Cubes has been great. We have had three units with them and the set up, maintenance, and clean out of each one has been flawless. I dont know how cubes does it but they actually make a storage facility a pleasant place to be :-) I would highly recommend their facilities to anyone looking to store and access their belongings or inventory in a safe and clean environment.

This is the best storage facility I have ever used! We moved here from Chicago, with the stress of already moving our entire house across country I was relieved when Mike made keeping my stuff safe while we were finding somewhere to live so easy! The facility is clean and Mike was very quick and make me feel at ease. I just moved out of Cubes but would use them again without hesitation!

I have used Cubes for quite some time now. There facility is always well maintained and secure. I especially am grateful for the environmental controls they have in keeping the building cool in the summer and warm in the winter. On top of all of this they have camera surveillance throughout.If all you are looking for is the cheapest place in town, then there are plenty of other alternatives. However, if you are looking for a premium storage space at an affordable price then Cubes is the place for you.

I have had a lot of storage units over the years, some good experiences, some bad. Cubes has been the best by far!!I wanted to keep my belongings better protected so I went to a few different storage facilities. I went to some where the people had no idea what size unit I would need or were just not easy to talk to. I had a lot of questions and Rick was very patient and understanding in answering them.Every time I go in or call the office, Rick or Ashley are always very polite and upbeat, they remember things about me and ask me questions, for example How are the kids doing?. It means a lot that they take the time to know me and not treat me like just another storage number.This company offers a lot of services to help you move your stuff into the unit, and state-of-the-art security features.Wonderful company!!! Would never store with anyone else, I am a life-time customer!!

Just moved out, but have to say they were great. Super friendly and easy to use. We ended up upgrading to a larger unit and that was no hassle at all. Parking gets a little tight around college move in and move out, but we always found a spot. The truck loan was also fast and easy to arrange for move in. If we ever have to store anything again were absolutely coming back to Cubes.

This place is a bit pricey, but like they say You get what you pay for. The security gives you a peace of mind. The place is always clean. There are handy carts for moving things in and out. We had a climate controlled unit and never had to worry about our belonging. And lastly, it is great that they have a moving truck to use for free when moving things into storage.

I will be honest, I was a little nervous about storing my things in a unit (Wedding dress, pictures, snowboards etc). When I walked into Cubes and toured the facility with Rick, all of those fears went away. I love so many things about this place. They have top notch service and security. Plus who could complain about a free moving truck? About that moving truck...Lets just say I cant judge height very well and had a little accident..Rick was great about assessing the damage. I paid for the damage I caused but definitely felt like I received the best end of the deal. These guys are spectacular and I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been so happy to work with Rick, Mike, and Ashley over the last 3+ years. The Cubes team has been there every time I look for a clean, climate controlled, affordable unit for business or personal purpose. Currently I have 3 units and as always I feel totally safe in this facility even when I work on my stuff until late at night. Very convenience schedule (open weekends). My experience at Cubes cannot be better! They know very well their business, it’s easy for them to recognize your needs and are very prompt to assist you with the right unit size in order to cut out unnecessary space/ money. Even I have contacted them last minute for help like last Saturday and thankfully there was Mike to the rescue, showing really care for his tenants necessities. I really appreciate all the efforts The Cubes Team makes in order to make things happen. With their vast experience you know that you are in great hands and your important belongings too!

Only stored with them for three months, but they did everything I expected. Clean, convenient, competent staff, use of the truck, and a pro-rate on the last months rent with enough notice. Five stars. Bonus points for being close to the highway and Home Depot, both useful when moving.

Best storage units by far!! the units are SO CLEAN and new!! I didnt have to worry about bugs or dirt getting on my things! The CUSTOMER SERVICE is TOP NOTCH!! they helped me with any and all my needs! I called in and the next day I had a Cubes STORAGE moving truck and was ready to go!! I felt safe leaving my things there because I knew it would be safe! Rick is the very best! so friendly and helpful! I would never go anywhere else just because of the service I received here!
