A fraud alert from my credit card company made me aware of the dishonest business practices this company uses. Attempts to overcharge was thwarted and I will never visit another Pilot or Flying J ever again.I called the corporate office to voice my concerns. I was told that a random amount is chosen, because RVs get gas at the auto pumps. I purchased 10 gallons of gas and was being charged $151. If it is a hold, hold the correct amount.

No water at the pumps and the only pump with with water has the Spicket broken. Please fix.

They do have Ben & Jerrys, but NOT enough different flavors!!! This Pilot is a little bit on the small side, as far as parking goes, but all the people that I run into here are really nice!! Laundry, showers, CAT scale....

The store is clean. Showers were clean.Only thing that bothered me was the lady who was sleeping at the back of the trucks. On the ground.She was there at night snd the next day.If a driver backed up while she was sleeping the suicide bar would smash her. We offered her food and she didn’t want it.I told the store about her and they were really uncomfortable with it.

Dont waste your time here for diesel. Mostly pumps are not working or broken. Long line up and tight place.

Shower was clean with good water pressure.. store was clean and they had my gold peak tea in half gallon size .

Typical Pilot, nasty and nothing works. Pumps always closed off, washers inside never work and they keep adding more paid parking. They are the new TA. Disgusting.

Pilot has always been one of my favorites, especially when I get to acumilate my points and able to purchae food from that. Also the showers were extremely clean and their towels smell fresh as if they where washed with soap, unlike other places

Great service, courteous people and willing to go the extra mile.

They have a good selection of a little bit of everything but of course its a truck stop so its a bit pricey. It is quite convenient and they also have an Arbys attached so you can grab a bite while youre there.

Good spot to top off tanks and a quick break. Small place

Any trucker reading this or people passing by there is a Sapps across the road go there alright now my reason why ...I bought a power pack to charge my phone from this location while I was visiting family and keep other family up to date in the hospital so I threw away the box like a normal person would and went use the equipment when I went to use it was defective so I brought back all the parts and the receipt and was informed I needed the box so they could return my money so I’m out money and have to buy another charger else where I advise any truckers or people passing by not to buy any electronics from this pilot due to their “box it came in” policy worst service ever.

One of the worst locations to visit. The management and staff dont know how to be professional. Especially in the Arbys. Very short attention span. One has to remind them a few times as to what was ordered. They shove the change, and then the order at you, like youre less than human. I was always told that the people of Iowa were friendly. They were obviously not telling the truth on that one.

Disgrace! With Sapp Bross truck stop right across the street,to run your business like this....they should go over and check how to do it. Impeccably clean,stockedparking lot clean and smooth,fuel pumps clean,staff actually working(nobody is texting or playing with their phones),service quick,professional and polite...I promise right now that Sapp Bross has just won my business over from Pilot 100%! Good job Sapp Bross! Shame on you Pilot!!!

Love Pilot and Flying J stores. Theyre almost always clean inside and out. Their point system is way better than Petro/TA. Points work straight from the point card like a credit card. Can use your points at the fast food restaurant located in the store 80% of the time. The app. also has great weekly offers for drivers so download and check it out.

I never thought Id say this about Pilot, destroyer and despoiler of decent truck stops, but this one is actually a nice place, even better than the usually better chain across the street. It had been years since Id been here and the changes are impressive. Even the parking situation is pretty reasonable here. Stopping here from now on instead of Sapp Bros.

This is the WORST truck stop in council bluffs. Fuel island is drenched with fuel all over the ground, pump nozzles are slow and crusty, and furthermore their winter blend is trash. Go across the street to sapps.

Really upset because I had an ad on my cell phone gyros were on sale. Went in and purchased 6 and was charged full price. My battery was not working on my cell phone and was told I had to have proof of the ad.the ad did not say you had to take in your cell phone or print out an ad. I would have liked to tell the staff to stick them up there you know what ...but my friends and I were hungry and they do have good food. I just wasnt happy that day

Clean store, polite workers and a great selection of everything a gas station sells ( dont know about the beer and liquor, didnt look for those). Everything else though- got it!! Even this sweet rewards card program...you NEED to download the app though, no biggie, thats easy. Same price gas as Caseys, where I used to go, but better selection inside and the cigarettes are evenly priced, if not a little better.... MARLBORO to name one whole kind!!!

The manager (cant remember his name) was extremely nice, good conversationalist, and a veteran. Be sure you thank him for his service.Bathrooms were clean, but shower #3 leaks (like a sieve, said the manager) but theyve got numerous notifications on it. Should be fixed soon.

I just stoped for coffee.. there was plenty of coffee.. it was easy in and out the parking lot didnt seem pretty full... Store seemed to be well stocked and very friendly

Parking lot was clean. Showers clean. Staff was friendly. Store was well stocked. Seemed to have everything you normally expect a location to have. Not as large as some of the locations but all in all it was a good experience.

Its nice to know that theres a place way out in the middle of nowhere. Strategically located for those on the long haul. Very nice and clean.

There was plenty of truck parking, it wasnt overcrowded, the inside or the facility was well maintained and very clean, especially the rest room area I can appreciate a clean restroom always! Because clean restrooms are very hard to find as a truck driver! Great job at this Pilot Travel Center location!

I think that is pretty fair on prices for gas and pop... It had stuff in there that are clothing related and for truck drivers... Depends on what it is you want the prices on some things are reasonable

Good Sam discounts. Parking lot is a little tight if your towing. Only one island with auto diesel on either side.

I have stopped here a few times in the past and will be stopping here again when I drive to Minnesota. The staff are friendly and helpful if I have any questions about items to road conditions/weather. I will update with a photo of my latest visit soon.

Restrooms nasty ! Only 3 toilet in the men bathroom..with 30 plus truckers that park on the lot! I had to go across the street to Sap Brothers just to use the rest room and they have 7 toilets and it’s super clean in there as well

When ky husband locked the keys in the truck, with my cell phone (access to on star), the guys working were very helpful, first in calling a locksmith to come as soon as possible and then letting me borrow a phone to call on star to unlock my car (I had found my on star card in my wallet). Much appreciated!

Really nice staff! Clean for a gas station and lots of choices. They for sure have coffee and soda machines. 24-7 Arbys connected so great place for late night food.

Nice busy place. In and out pretty quick. Fueled a bus. Clean well lite.

Clerk inside was very nice and actually talked to us drivers that were inside the store...now although the bathroom was clean, it was stifling hot in there. Felt like all the heat went in there instead of thought the store. It has an Arbys in it...usually pretty good just wasnt hungry for it tonight.

If you need air for your tires, go here! It is $1.50 but it takes cards if you dont have quarters on you. Even in the frigid cold, they still had air when a lot of gas stations didnt. Just a heads up so you arent driving all over like I was! Pilot also has Arbys in it and has tourist gifts and some electronic things like cell phone accessories too. They also have the regular gas station items such as candy, soda, juice, and other snacks.

Our brakes were messed up & there was a family that helped us out & a nice gentleman as well William the store cashier was very nice as well Ill never forget this day

No creamer in machine. Told the employee she said wait. Well I waited 15 minutes no customers then she looked at me and said Oh I forget all about you! WOW! Made me feel really special!At least the employee at Arbys was a real sweetheart!

The gas is a reasonable. The lot lizards are top notch.

At first they were kinda disrespectful, but I think once they figured out I wasnt a junkie sleeping in their lot to get high they toned it down and helped me out. They have everything you need there! Bathrooms are nice and warm and the arbies is a nice place to hangout eat and watch some tv. Would recommend

Small flying J. Pulled in about 1AM, and the lit was full. Store is is just as small as the parking lot. If you get there early enough you will find everything you need in this one small place - parking, food, and gas.

Parking was great. The store was pretty clean. But seriously something outside smells like a rotting corpse. It smelled like that last time i was here maybe a month or two ago. Its so bad it overpowers the smell of p*ss.

They steel truck drivers money cause prices on the trashy food they sale and the junk they sale because they think like the other truck stops that truckers make millions of dollars. They cant fix parking lots showers bathrooms and paint the lines . Clean fuel islands . They hire the most rude ppl to work there

Great truck stop with plenty of products available. Prices arent much different than most truck stops. All in all, its a decent place.

Its a truck stop its a gas station its an arbys and if youre in the good Sam sclub you get a discount on gas so its a great place for campers to fill up

Pilot Travel Centers and truck stops are all across the USA. You can find anything you need for your travels there. Fresh food is your typical C-store fair, but there is an Arby’s connected to it so you can get the whole meal. Restrooms are clean. If you are OTR trucker you can do clean ups as well.

Its a small truck stop with very limited free truck parking. Everything in the cstore is over priced and can be purchased much cheaper at a Walmart. The coffee is nothing special and is over priced. Over all, Id rather park at Sapp Bros for my rest break

A big shout out to Jed for his execellent customer service. My husband is a truck driver, he left something at this locations and Jed was very helpful in helping him get it back. He was very kind, patient and helpful, which we dont always find at truckstops. We would like to wish Jed much success in his career.

Pretty nice pilot. It is small so no oi t much parking but the store, showers, and restrooms are kept pretty clean most of the time.

This ones kind of small but it does the job, nice friendly people & clean place. Also its right across the street from a Sams club.

If you want to have a nice stay stop here at this pilot it is very clean the people are nice and polite. Showers are clean.

Hit and miss when it comes to friendly employees. Even when they are semi friendly they still seem to act like they are doing you a favor by checking you out at the register. That or they are new and not fully trained to do things like money orders or load cards. That is if their Western Union machine is even working. 3 out of 6 times Ive tried getting a money order something or another wouldnt work or connect. I was not happy this evening when I tried to get one and the clerk seemed annoyed by my request and asked the other how to do a money order bc she doesnt know how. The other clerk said its pretty simple. Then my clerk responded by saying this is why she doesnt want to work this shift...excuse me?? I didnt realize having my business was such a big hassle. Once she got it rung in it said check device (the WU machine) she looked and it didnt connect. The other clerk said try it again if it doesnt connect its not going to work and we wont be able to do it. They didnt try to solve the problem at all. Shrugged me off with a condenscending attitude like, maybe you should try coming on a day when it is working, Duh.

Cashier was not friendly, worst experience I have had at a Pilot/Flying J ever.

They have good showers. Thats about it. Their enhanced outdoor wifi only works inside, or next to the pole that doesnt reach over a trailer that parks next to it.Most Pilots have lunch meats, or something other than hot dogs in their deli. This one didnt get the memo.They do have an Arbys, if youre into tooth-chipping curly fries.Ill head to the TA. Good luck at this place. The parking is typical Pilot, so make sure your insurance is on speed dial, and your dash cam has space on it.

Small store and parking lot but the store is clean. There’s a casino close by that has a shuttle that will pick you up and bring you back.
