Please do your homework. Read reviews. If a company gets 5 stars with 2 reviews, thumbs down. No reviews, like for this outfit? Absolutely not. People won’t review Chariho because there’s nothing good to say & comments are not anonymous. But if my cautionary tale prevents one more person from being ill-treated by the most obstreperous service coordinator (for lack of a better “title”) on the planet, and after 40 years as customers, an elderly (95) yo was left in a home totally without heat. (Space heaters helped. A defunct oil tank gauge was to blame for the situation). Customer service people who yell & argue are obviously NOT serving customers! It was juvenile & unproductive, a he said/she said circuitous blaming session; being told I lied was the last straw. Thus, a compensatory delivery of 10 gallons of heating oil & a prime of the furnace for $140. at least brought relief, for certain. I’ve Googled & found several 4-4.5 star oil companies in the area. A pleasant phone call later, having shared my woes with a truly helpful woman, and I’ve crossed one more headache-producer off my list!
I have used Chariho oil for years. I shop for the daily price and there are consistantly the lowest or within a few cents of the lowest. The staff is very amenable and I shall continue to use them in the future.
