I moved to North Franklin just outside their service area and I really miss them. They always provided exceptional service throughout the years, and they always had the lowest prices by far. Would easily recommend to anyone (with a side of jealousy).

Called company to inquire about a furnace replacement. The first question asked, are you a current customer and without even asking any additional questions the lady immediately said there was nothing she could do for us. Well they just lost a potential customer. Not only do I need the furnace replaced in our current house that we will be renting, we are also buying a new house that might need a replacement down the line(17 year old furnace). We are also shopping around for a new oil company for the new house. I guess new customers are not important to them. Good thing the other company we called for a quote was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I have been with my current oil company for 9 years so I am a loyal customer. I was recommended to call Affordable when talking to an acquaintance about the new house. I really am not one for writing negative reviews but I do believe that it is important for all businesses to learn their customers before making an assumption of needs right off the bat.

Going on year 4 and they have been the most cost effective every time. Have never had an issue with getting oil delivered in a timely manor. Make sure to ask about a bulk oil discount (over 400 gallons).

Friendly family people who take care of their customers. We have used Affordable Fuel for about a dozen years now and they are always timely and have ALWAYS kept prices very affordable (no pun intended). One time about 5 years ago, we ran out of fuel, The owner, immediately came out and got us up and running and even called back the next day to make sure all was fine. Glad to support a local business like this.

I am a new resident east of the river. I have lived west of the river for the last 33 years. I recently purchased a beautiful estate located in Coventry and during the closing i was told that I had 600 gallons left in my oil tank. Long story short, that was far from accurate as I ran out 2 nights ago around 8 pm when it was to be 19* overnight and with 2 young children in my home.After calling 6 or so “top rated” oil companies i was continually told that since I was not a “regular customer”. They would make no exception and fill my tank in my time of need. Nobody would listen to me that I had an extenuating circumstance and was new to the area and unprepared to need a delivery at a whims notice, otherwise i would have been someone’s “regular customer” by now.Finally i got through to someone with a heart and compassion for other human beings. And that someone was the fine folks over at Affordable oil! Not only did they deliver me promptly, but they helped me to measure my oil levels, and restart my furnace, free of charge. !!As the owner of several businesses myself, i know just how valuable ans devastating these reviews can be now a days, so rather than head over to the other 6 places i called previously who all but hung up on me (except one who actually did) and reviewing them poorly, Im going to just say this instead. Do NOT waste your time looking elsewhere, use affordable oil! Not only did they help me in my time of need, but their prices were well... you guessed it, AFFORDABLE!Thank you, thank you, thank you.... to the fine folks of affordable oil!

Unlike most other oil companies, they refuse to do reocureoccu automatic deliveries which has caused countless problems getting oil delivered on time as they refuse to deliver unless your tank is almost empty.When my oil froze in a snap freeze, they refused to help with the emergency line in a timely manner, leaving me in a house sitting at just above freezing for two weeks. If I had been old and unable to get wood to stoke the fire constantly, I would have died.Lady on the phone isnt especially nice either. Currently looking for another oil company.

Only giving two stars based on their help a year ago. Would be one star based on the rudeness. Two years ago (November 2014) we got our tank filled. Furnace was brand new so no need for that to be serviced. December 2014 we got mini splits put in that supplemented most of our heat. That winter was snowy but not very cold and we never realized that the furnace wasnt working to full potential because the mini splits were working. This past February 2016 we woke up to a house that was around 40 degrees and frozen pipes. Mini splits dont work in sub-freezing temps and now we see furnace not working. Try to figure out issue, end up calling them. I get rudely told that since I havent been a customer since 2014 (makes it sound like two years when really it was 1 year 3 months) that we must be going somewhere else and they wont help. Rudely told her that I have frozen pipes, no heat, and havent gone to anyone else so come fix it. The serviceman was a sweetheart and took 10 minutes to fix the circuit. Why would I want to deal with that attitude? Dont know but tried again. Temps havent been too cold this season so while furnace is blowing havent noticed that no heat coming as my house a happy temp for me from mini splits. In need of a half fill before winter sets in, and oil filter change, and possible line clearing. Rudely again said since we arent regular customers that they dont want our business..... no problem, your competitor will be here tomorrow!

I only called to see if they clean boilers and the lady on the phone was so rude then proceeded to go on about how she has a 2 month wait. Its freezing, we have no heat, there was no reason to be so rude. Id rather freeze than deal with a company like this.
