Everything that a student could need is available right here. Most things are reasonably priced, but if you find yourself in a bind and need something that is generally more expensive then you can expect there to be that convience markup.
As you can probably expect, prices are marked way up, especially for textbooks. Even the professors on campus will recommend that you dont buy your books here. Some of the staff members are very nice, but not all of them. If youre a dual enrollment student and have to get your textbooks through the bookstore, your experience really depends on which employee helps you. When youre told to tell the bookstore staff that you are a DE student and they will assist you, you wouldnt expect them to wave you off and tell you to do it yourself when you dont know how.At least some of the staff are genuinely helpful.
Love this campus
Great staff, helpful too.
I enjoy going to this bookstore. It has nice selection of items and great for the campus students if they need something quick. The staff is very nice.
Beautiful campus. Friendly staff. Lots of options. Games and fun. Great place to start your education.
Covid-19 has wrecked the college experience. Thanks evil leaders.
Good!
I DONT AGREE WITH MY CHILD GOING TO CLASS ON MON AND WED WHY ISNT IT ALL VIRTUAL.I REALLY DONT AGREE WITH SENDING MY YOUNG ADULT TO SCHOOL TO DIE
The colleges private bookstore. What more can you expect? It is a bookstore. The price of books are usually marked up, and its cheaper just to buy them online; however, this place comes in handy at times whenever a professor requests an item and you need it as soon as possible.
Great employees, I took proctored exams at their testing center and the staff was always friendly and helpful. College feels real safe with plenty of security on campus.
For new students not looking to get overwhelmed. This is a great start.
Im sure its fantastic. But I havent visited it. I was there to watch my sons team play baseball.
Service was fast and everyone was so nice when I had to go pick my books.
Its a good school, but its very hard to get any information you need to know.
I myself have had problems with the bookstore staff my first year at GPC. And since I was a freshman I was having a hard time of finding information and it seemed like if you didnt know what you were talking about, no one was willing to help, so I was incredibly frustrated. But I will say this year they have all new people in there (except for three) and all of them are so so friendly and only want to help, so the service got a lot better. Also to get in and out quick, make sure you know what your class is (ex. Astronomy 1101) and your professor! Good luck finding books, plus if you have to preorder books, be careful. This year it about 3 business days, but last year I had to wait a month. So its your decision, if you have no problem waiting, then go ahead but if you order from somewhere else make sure its within a reasonable amount of time. One more thing, if you have any problems at all, go to the ladies in charge of returns!! They are incredibly helpful and it feels like your problems are their problems.
This school is absolutely RIDICULOUS! The sorriest excuse for a college that I have ever seen. I have had so many problems with the staff that I have lost count. I graduated in December of 2014, they put a hold on my account in January of 2015 WHEN I DO NOT EVEN GO THERE ANYMORE.. Therefore, I cannot get my diploma for another 8 weeks, when I should have gotten it in February. On top of that, dont even waste time trying to call the school because you will NEVER get through. I have sat on the phone waiting to talk to somebody in admissions for over an hour multiple times and still never get to talk to somebody. Its easier to just drive the hour to the school to get somebody to be rude and not even help. I can go on and on about how horrible this school is, but I think this should do it justice. If you are going to spend thousands of dollars on a college education, I can only pray that whoever reads this chooses another college because GPC is just sorry.
Really liked this campus have been visiting the one in downtown but its a nice cozy neat campus
Everything you would expect for a school plus a great staff that is always willing to help.
Cool college....super nice staff and the students are friendly.
Very nice and safe campus. Additionally, friendly faculty staff.
The store staff is super friendly, however the lady who works in the department of safety is the most unfriendly person ever! SUPER rude, dry, harsh, and hates her life and is sick of her job...so are some of the ones that work behind the glass in the advisement area, rude rude.
Had catered dinner after a repass from a funeral
They have everything here and its great!
I had trouble from the book store my first week there. Some of the staff didnt know what they were talking about. I tried calling to speak to a manager, no one would speak to me. But when i finally went back up to try to speak to one in person, the woman who did returns helped me out so much. She is the reason why i didnt rate the store a 0.
