I like how they have cleaned up their location but I wish they didnt add the 10% surcharge. Something about that really rubs me wrong! Just put it on the items so I wont notice! How bout that? It seems like the prices on some of the items are still priced good anyway. I dont know!

I was having one of the worst days of my life today and dropped a full gallon of milk in the parking lot right after paying and it busted. They let me replace it for free. You guys have no idea how much that act of kindness meant right now. I am going to be a regular customer now for sure!

An interesting outlet. By no means the nicest store - its not the cleanest and one corner is completely undone (and has been). Not everything is a good deal, but you can find some - Bang energy drinks are as cheap here as youll find anywhere, even after the 10% markup. Fairly large selection of Hispanic and Jamaican/Caribbean products, many of which you wont find in the big name stores.

Went in to get what was needed and was out quickly.

Its about what you would expect from an off brand Ingles.

Friendly staff. Used to have better pricing; discount not worth the sacrifices of larger store variety. Too many packaged fresh items; limited number you can purchase freely. Good in a pinch but not as main store for food shopping.

I only shop here for specific items. They have a great variety of seasonings, sauces, and other condiments. Buyer Beware, there is an additional 10% mark-up at the register. During peak hours the lines can be really long but the clerks are fast and courteous! Parking is all-over the place.

This is the only grocery store that has fresh beautiful produce and a clean packed meat department with down to earth prices. The dairy section is loaded with great selections too. I save so much by shopping at Food Depot. My family enjoys all of the bounties as well.

This Food Depot is NOT open til 10pm on Christmas Eve. They close at 7pm Christmas Eve.

I only stop here because it is convenient. Ive leaned its not a good place. Ive purchased 4 packs of Butterball ground turkey from them. I went home to cook two packs and placed the other packs in the freezer. Soon as I opened the pack, it had a unpleasant sent to it. I called and talked with the mgr., he told me to discard the meat Ive opened and bring back the other two packs. I went back the next day to replace the meat because the mgr. informed me a truck was coming in. Well customer service and another worker have given me a hard time, which we went back and forth...whereas, the meat mgr. immediately refunded my money without any resistance. I will be very caution when purchasing from this location.

Kinda slow at checkout but they stay stocked.i brought a family pack of 4 t bone steaks the top steak had meat on both sides of the t but the other 3 had the best tender side removed. Now anybody that eats t bone steaks know what I mean.so I dont buy t bones from there anymore.

This store doesnt jack up their prices due to competitor pricing! They dont offer that wide selection of name brand items but youre also not paying that wide dollar amount either! 😉Staff is extremely personable & eager to personally assist, regardless of what time it is, even if its 1 minute until they close! Truth be told, Ive become so accustom to the Complete Opposite at the bigger chain stores that Food Depots outstanding customer service made me uneasy at first!

Great prices on food even though they add 10% to your purchase at the end...One small tip, at this location there is a very tall, lanky young Caucasian male that works in the meat department who INSISTS on wearing his pants so low that not only do u see the underwear, but the ENTIRE ASS CHEEKS which is downright disgusting and unprofessional.... Management has been notified, nothing changed...

It is an affordable grocery store that has diverse and cultural foods. The prices for most items are cheap. Have to check the fruits and vegetables for signs of spoilage though. Aside from that, its a decent grocery store.

Try to avoid Food Stamp days and Holidays. This place is run down and crowded with those that may even ask you for your own spare change.Prices are great if you gotta shop here. But dont use their public toilet.

Food Depot is a good place to shop for groceries. The only drawback I have with them is when they charge the 10% even on food stamps. I dont always shop with food stamps. I some times have to spend money too. I think they should stop charging the 10% on food stamps. I dont get many stamps and it hurts when you have to pay that extra percentage. I personally think you come out better shopping at Krogers or Ingles with your stamps at least for all your items except your meats.

Not impressed. The prices are normal to sale prices at any grocery store but they tac on a 10% surcharge which means no savings in the end. I definitely would not shop there again or recommend it as a store for savings

How is it possible to tax taxes? Im really confused about the way the food is priced and taxed. I think maybe an audit is necessary here. I saw taxes being charged on WIC vouchers and SNAP benefit purchases. Lower income individuals shop here unaware that the price listed is not what is actually being paid. Theres 10% tax added to purchase on top of regular taxes. This really adds up if you do regular grocery shopping here. Its misleading to put a price on something and add 10% to each item. IT IS CHEAPER TO SHOP ELSEWHERE.

The best grocery prices around. Always have plenty of check outs open and they offer other services such as western union and check cashing. Only a couple complaints which are the store always has a stinky fishy smell to it that is very strong and sometimes you have to check your meat bc I have gotten some spoiled meat from there before.

I like shopping at Food Depot. The folks are friendly and professional. Altho their prices have increased.

Having back and hip issues, I cant do alot of walking, so I use an electric cart. If there is one available, 98% of the time, it dies before you finish your shopping. And many times Ive purchased spoiled meat. Management is rude, with a no care attitude. Im done with this place. Id rather spend the extra money and get quality food and friendly service, than save a few pennies.

Prices are good on some stuff and ok on others.You think youre getting a good price on something when you pick it up but then they hit you with an extra 10% at the register which now makes the price equal to or slightly lower than the other stores.

I am from California who has recently moved here. I decided to give Food Depot a try. I am very pleased with my shopping experience. The staff is very friendly to me and my kids. The prices are seriously from the 80s. It felt like I was 8 years old again shopping with my parents. Amazing prices. The meat section is big. The fish is also very nice. Their produce is fresh and nothing rotten or stinky. I really hope this store stays the same. Dont change a thing.What I enjoyed the most. They have one big isle with nothing but Hispanic choices. They even have big pots to make tamales and tortilla warmers. They even have mexican sweet bread. I also found central american sour cream. No other big chain store carry it. Im in awww with how amazing this store is. I also found tomatillos, habaneros, serranos, which walmart sells out from.I think you guys got a new loyal customer.
