Plan on waiting a bit as (at least whenwe visited) a single hard-working gal was handling both drive-thru and in-laundromat, BUT it was totally worth it! The toasted coconut pineapple ice cream is fantastic, and the kiddie cone is generous and a steal at $1. Many other great flavors too, plus milk shakes.

Its very noticeable that this place is short staff just like most places. It is what it is. Besides that, my grilled cheese was good and the pretzel Carmel milk shake was awesome! Not going to take a star away because people dont want to work. The ladies up there are doing an awesome job!

This place is amazing make sure you stop here if you live in town or just passing through they even got to drive up window to make it convenient I recommend it any of their sandwiches but most of all they make the best grilled cheese Ive ever had for an extremely fair price Id probably pay double for what they give you the ice cream is phenomenal especially the toasted coconut pineapple the scoops are generous and extremely fairly priced as well the Italian sodas are delicious and made right once again fairly priced I also get my laundry service done here they wash and fold my clothes for an extremely fair price I almost feel like they should charge more for their services because they are top of the line and I love supporting local businesses whose place is a must go with the family or just for a quick bite the staff is always polite and inviting would have gave it six stars if I could

While the Italian Soda was great, it took too long to make it. Also, in the summer we eat at 6:30 so if you want our business regularly you need to be open till 8.Thank you!

So I understand that this is a small town but an ice cream shop closing at 6 in the summer time is just rediculous. Your the only ice cream place in town and your missing out on a bunch of business. We will never come back because of that.

Reasonable priced laundromat with an old school soda fountain (ice cream and sundaes and such.)

Every time I did my laundry here I would find it removed by someone, as to whom, I dont know. But the owner doesnt mind people doing that. Horrible business. The shake place takes forever and the shakes arent even good. Dont even bother with this place. Worst experience ever.

I love Bear Coal Laundry mat and soda fountain!In the summer my kids LOVE getting a $1 ice cream on laundry day. Makes laundry fun! The ladies who run this place keep it dusted, cleaned, sanitized. Im always very thankful for how clean and tidy they keep it. Makes it feel like my laundry is actually being cleaned. Haha! They also do what it takes to keeps their machines working. If one goes down they are quick to get someone in to fix it.

The shakes and malts are very good but the service was slow. We ordered 3 shakes, 1 malt, and 2 ice cream cones. By the time we got our last malt, 3 in our party were finished with theirs and had to wait for the other 3 to finish.UPDATE! 6/15/19. Because the ice cream and malts are the best in town, we gave the service a second chance in hopes that our first experience was just an off day. It must have been. Fast, efficient, and delicious! Definitely a go-to place in Craig.

My family and I have been enjoying Bear Coal since they opened in 2017. Great food, great ice cream and the Italian sodas are delicious!The young man who usually serves us is so, so sweet.It’s all-around a wonderful place! Highly recommend!

This is the only ice cream shop and home made sodas like we had in years past. They also I think still make sandwiches. The ice cream Id great.

Very friendly stadd, milkshakes were amazing. Took a little while to get them but understandably because the place was packed!

Bitter sweet. I see you doing something good but why would you do it inside the laundromat? Couldve had a small shack next door. Not only is it packed but you also need to have people not loiter in their vehicles waiting for their laundry. Other customers cant park to wash their laundry. How bout asking those waiting in their vehicles to park across the street to leave some parking spaces open for those dropping off. Theres hardly any room now to fold clothes on any counter since you took the two to utilize as eating areas. Great idea in the wrong place

Good ice cream and Italian sodas. It is inside a laundromat, the hours seem to change to whenever the employees feel like saying theyre closed, and the service ranges from excellent to abominable. Inconsistent, but tasty and nice to have around as an option.

Real malts!

Really good service they are quick and kind. The atmosphere is like a 50s dinner and I like it. It may be on the middle of a laundry mat yet it feels like its own building. Overall great taste amd servicem

Unbelievably slow girl working at the fountain, like watching paint dry. We left after 15 minutes watching her serve two ice creams. Disappointing :(
