The owner wont lead you astray. I was a bit hesitant walking into the store but quickly found out that this guy really knows his stuff. I went in to make a quick purchase and ended walking out with a wealth of knowledge that I will carry with me everywhere I go.

I was there to buy some silver coins last week. These guys were very friendly and very professional. I will definitely return.

I called the shop because on there web site they have coin grading as an option. So when the young man answered the phone and stated he would answer my question. I assumed he would let me finish asking my question before he cut me off and shot me down without knowing anything about MY MS 70 ASE one of 79.640 as well as my Pennies and nickels. That I am looking to have graded. There was no professionalism or politeness as well as being completely dismissive.I would not recommend anyone read into or believe there website assessment as a reputable business. If you want to do business with them be careful.... They dont care about your coins just the money they can make off of you.

I went here a couple weeks ago and bought some $1 pieces and they where priced very fair and their wasnt much left and where not worn out they where in very good condition, could of easily charged people $20 and someone would of payed, very friendly older gentleman i didnt meet the son but great experience, makes you feel comfortable, informative, and will be heading back tuesday to see what they got. Some people expect to much in life thats the only reason i can think of for the negative reviews, stop being so sensitive when all we do is live to die. I recommend this place

My brother and I visited New England Coin Exchange based on the excellent reviews. We had a small stamp collection, some old jewelry and a collection of coins we were interested in having appraised. David is extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain what constituted collectors value vs price by weight. We learned a lot. Called prior to arriving stating the condition of some of my coins. Not only were they rude and basically indirectly asked me to leave based upon my opinion on the age of a specific ring that I had. But after a simple disagreement gave up on me and insulted me. I’ve been dealing with gold and silver for many years, but I am no professional. I’m a firm believer we all have our opinions, these gentleman Operate in one manner which is unprofessional.We all have different experiences, but I would highly recommend looking at other options whether you’re looking to purchase or sell. I truly hate providing bad reviews and only do so when there’s a significant reason.The Owner obviously either did not hear me words or misinterpreted them. Just be because a piece of Silver or Gold is unmarked does not mean it’s Old and it does not mean it’s not real. Regardless, to be so quick to assume something. Weather it be spoken words or an item. Communication can be hard. I also recorded my brief time within this business due to the nature of my phone call with them prior to arriving. I’ll share it.

I had called to speak with someone on the value of a coin, and the individual I spoke with was extremely sarcastic, very unprofessional, and when I asked him to educate me instead of talking down to me like as if he was better than me or something cause I’m not a coin expert, he basically shrugged me off and hung up on me. Well buddy you lost a customer before you even had one.

Price gouging when you need silver the most. EX. silver at $14 expect to pay a least a $2.00 premium which doesnt help you when it sinks to $11 the next day. Otherwise when the market is normal(silvers not cheap) the premiums are competative. $1.00-$1.50.
