Do NOT go here!! Horrible business. Had them replace an axle, less than 72 hours later it was making a soft clicking noise. Called them up and they argued me down for 3 weeks that it wasnt the axle without ever putting on a lift to look at it. Finally set up a date to bring it in and over the weekend recorded the now loud and very audible clicking and took it in today to show them and they still wanted to argue without ever putting it on the lift despite having the keys and 2 open stalls, then refused to work on the car AND moved it around the corner. I ended up calling the cops and am filing a complaint with the BBB.
Very caring, Chris goes out of his way to please you and get you back on the road! He knows cars and theres no guessing! I trust him and his solution to fix the issue with my car! Just sent my Granddaughter to get her car fixed and he took special care to solve her problem! Chris is the MAN

They refused to install parts that I had already purchased. Some foolishness about them not being able to warranty the parts, which are already come with a lifetime warranty. Obviously, they cant make as much on the job because they cant add the their own markup for the parts when the buy them.Certainly their perogative but, just be honest about it.

I had a rather disturbing experience with this shop. First, I want to admit that I used one foul word and I dont typically do that..and I apologize. Even if I felt I had justification for it, it is not appropiate.Second, despite my poor choice in language, this is what happened.I showed up after a 3 and a 1/2 hour drive. I had done my initial inspection there for Rhode Island on 6/26, Chris said if you come back any morning you dont need an appointment, just need to do a spot check on that tire and you will be fine. It was 1150AM. Yes, close to noon, however, still morning and with all the construction I was supposed to literally arrive 1 hour and a 1/2 prior to 1150AM. Now, Had Chris specified it needed to be first thing in the morning or you needed to make an appointment, I would have done so. Who drives two hours just on a belief they dont need an appointment and then would insist someone just do something for you? Not me.However, John was by the register with two other guys. Johns words from the start very very rude (remember I am a customer who paid his shop to do a service). He was so upset because it was no longer morning at 1150AM. I am sorry but 1150AM is technically morning. Again not my intention to be so close to noon.John responded to my one foul word with multiple foul words including calling me names and even pushing me out the door. He even called the cops because he felt justified in his actions. I was outside (while he was ranting and calling the cops) having a panic attack and on with Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles finding an alternative to ever coming back to this shop because I felt very unsafe and I felt like Johns anger and name calling was not okay on any level.I talked to my lawyer and I talked to the police. I could press charges and make a stink over this, however, unlike John, I want to show him compassion.I am asking you not to judge John or his shop on this one incident. His behavior as my one foul word wasnt okay. And two wrongs never make a right.I want people to understand it is not acceptable to call people names, nor treat them badly. We are all under extra stress and isolation and times are hard. I hope John isnt typically who he showed me he was. I hope he can give me forgiveness for my anxiety and my foul word.I am offering John compassion. I encourage you to do the same to other people. In a world where I can be anything, I chose to be kind.
Took my Car for Vehicle Inspection, Chris was an awesome guy.. He did a quick job and mentioned clearly about whats required for the vehicle..much recommended

Great mechanics & fair prices... Lots of experience and fix the problems correctly the 1st time... They dont try to bamboozle you in any way...👍 The 1st time that I went here was to have an inspection done... I have a certificate from the state of RI to allow for window tint... I went to 3 different places to try and get my car inspected and none of the 3 places would do it even though I had the official certificate in my hand... I stopped at Knightsville Service Center and they knew exactly what to do and had me out of there in 20 mins, thats experience... I recently needed to have the idle on my truck relearned and they took care of me at a fraction of the price that the dealer wanted to charge me... They didnt try to tell me that theyre was more to the problem and pry more money out of my pocket, they just made the honest repair and billed me accordingly... I will be referring everyone that I know to this place for sure...
Finding a mechanic you can trust is difficult. These guys are it. They are up front with their pricing and work fast.

I couldn’t find anyone who would replace my water pump in my 2011 Mazda cx 9 or I was getting outrageously high quotes. When I found knightsville they told me they’ve done silimar jobs and would be able to help me, they also gave me a reasonable quote. They were very honest and straight forward. I would definitely recommend them and I know I will be back when I am in need of car service again.

Excellent experience. I had purchased a used Jaguar and brought it to them to insure that it was mechanically correct. They did a thorogh job in going through the car and I made all reccommended repairs. They explained everything well and were very fair on pricing ( cheap when compared to the local Jag dealer).
