Got a contact eye exam. Picked up trials which didn’t work for me. Called to make an appointment so I can receive the correct contact prescription but was told I’d need to pay again for a contact eye exam.

Bling is fine until you want to use your warranty. Nicole expressed zero interest in helping to get the manufacture replace my frames (break in the hinge hardware) 7 months after the purchase. My husband’s glasses fell in a fire pit and LensCrafters replaced them with no issue.

I am sitting inside Bling as I am writing this. There is a worker by the name of Juanita sitting at the desk next to me. She is not with a client. Another woman by the name of Kristen is assisting me. She is very pleasant, professional and accommodating. She is adjusting my glasses and they now fit me. I can finally use theme The entire process took no more than 7 minutes.I arrived at the store at approximately 2:30 PM. Hot beautiful day. As I approached the door and peered in side, I noticed the store was empty, except for the staff who were sitting at their stations. There weren’t any customers inside. Another staff member, I did not see the name on her uniform, approached the door. As she was opening it, I was reading the signs posted on the doors. The signs stated that: the doors were locked to customers, you needed an appointment to be seen and it was required for everyone to wear a mask. I described the simple adjustment my glasses needed but she insisted I needed to call for an appointment and restated their policy regarding masks. I did comment on needing an appointment for such a small task but she insisted it was their rule and I had to abide by it. She then locked the door.There are ways to say things to people but unfortunately her attitude came across as very dismissive and uncaring. I immediately went to my car and called BLING for an appointment. Kristen answered and stated I could be seen today! I asked if I could be seen immediately as I was sitting in front of their store in my car. She said certainly. She met me at the door and unlocked it. I donned my mask and my glasses were fixed.The short time I was sitting waiting for my glasses, I could hear employees in a back room laughing and giggling. Juanita was siting next to me at her station. I mentioned to her what had just occurred and that it made absolutely no sense. I stated I could see if they were busy and no one was available to take care of me but everyone was sitting doing nothing! She said their system was down. She then for whatever reason started lecturing me on how everyone was required to wear masks and they had rules. I responded, I respect and abide by the rules of any facility, especially regarding masks. As I was sitting there, with my mask on, I told her I did not have any concerns regarding masks, it was about the entire incident that had just occurred which made absolutely no sense. She kept talking above me and would not stop to listen to me!! I could not believe her behavior towards a customer!!I found her behavior to be extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. Her passive aggressive manner did not speak well of her, as a representative of this company, or of BLING!! According to her demeanor, she seemed to find the whole incident rather amusing.As I was leaving, I did tell her she needed to be more respectful to customers. She did not seemto care what I thought.I am a senior citizen and a customer and expect to be treated with dignity and respect, when in any place of business.Kristen was wonderful! I had to mention that!JUANITA showed a total lack of regard for me as a customer and an individual.After this experience, I will be spending my thousands of dollars on glasses elsewhere!!’

Im just going to say that in terms of sales and service on eyewear, BUYER BEWARE. I have never worked with an optical place that is this expensive (and I lived in NYC for 13 years). Yet, the customer service is not great, and the store offered no discounts, refunds, or other compensation when my glasses were not made right the first time. When I told them the lenses were still not performing as well as the last similar lenses I had made elsewhere, I was basically out of luck. I filled out a customer survey that they sent me in a detailed way, provided my info to be contacted, and no one contacted me. And oh, the whole reason I went there was to shop specifically for Sihouettes frames, which they knew in advance. When I got there, after a 45-minute drive, there were just a few silhouettes frames, and not the right type. It felt like a bait and switch. Back to the optical department at my eye doctor—that doesnt even take my insurance—so that I have a well remake your glasses until youre satisfied guarantee.

Stephanie is by far my favorite doctor ever. Shes an amazing eye doctor, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and always explains everything to me in ways I can understand. I stepped on my glasses and I heard a noise. One lens popped out of my half rim glasses. I tried to insert the lens back with no results. I called Bling Eyewear and got an appointment . I was thinking the worst, that they were beyond fixing and I would probably need to get a new pair of glasses. I met an employee at the door. I told her what I did. She took the glasses and told me to wait in my vehicle. Five minutes later she came to my truck with my glasses that were repaired and looked perfectly. That made my day. That is a GREAT PLACE WITH GREAT PEOPLE !!!!!

Made an appointment to be fitted for contact lenses I have never worn contact lenses and due to being a nurse and having to wear a mask at work wearing glasses wasn’t working anymore. I communicated electronically several times with the office about my needs. I took a day out of work as they have no convenient appointment times. I arrived to be told that I could not be fitted for contacts due to the size of the office and COVID. I completed several packets of paperwork electronically that clearly stated what I was looking for and although I understand Covid can be challenging I feel the practice could’ve let me know that they were not going to be able to meet my needs. I wasted a whole day going there for nothing obviously won’t be back.

Great service and adherence to COVID protocols. It’s nice to have a new look during these times, when it seems like so little new is part of ones daily life. Thanks for all the help.

The eye doctor was 5 stars. When I went to pick out my glass the lady helping was awful she was more concerned about a phone call she had received. She left me sitting at the table for 10 minutes. Then when she returned she was in a rush. I cant walk around to look at the glasses,(due to covid) she didnt offer to get the other glasses across the room only the ones in front of me. It was horrible service. I went in there looking to purchase 2 glasses, I ended up with a pair I didnt care for. Because I was only shown 3 pairs of glasses.. Very dissapointed in the quality of service when picking out my glasses.

I have been going to Bling since they opened in Chapel View, The were literally unpacking. I have always received excellent service and they don’t hesitate to tell you which frames are good for you and which are not. Be able to have my eyes examined on site is a big plus!

Very professional staff. With all the covid restrictions they still try to make it a confortable experience. They make you feel safe by all the safety protocols they have in place. I found my personal experience dealing with Bling Eyewear, specifically Kristen Furtado, to be very pleasant, accommodating, and professional. While I was initially disappointed that my request for specially designed prescription eye glasses could not be done, I was very impressed that Kristen tried patiently to accommodate me. In fact, I did purchase a pair of prescription eyeglasses and Im pleased with the way look, having received them through curbside service.

Quick,clean and easy. However, They do not have it posted on their door that they are not open on Mondays and it was dirt of inconvenient for me. I waited in my car for a half hour before I assumed it.

Very unhappy with the lack of service i received. My glasses keep falling off my face and i called to see if they could be adjusted. I understand we are in challenging times with this virus, however i feel that when i called i should have been told i was not to get out of my car. The girl who attempted to assist me was so rude! Needless to say my glasses are still falling off my face. I did not expect to be treated so poorly.

I called with a eye issue in the middle of a pandemic. The doctor was able to do a televisit. The doctor knew right away what the injury was and took care of me. A million thanks is not enough! Im already on the road to recovery 😊

Dr. Tong is very patient and listens to all my concerns when fitting me for new contacts. He even had me come back two times to really tweak the lenses to make sure they were perfect for me. I was not charged for these subsequent visits. He truly goes the extra mile.On the store side Bling is beautiful and tasteful. The employees are courteous, helpful, and not aggressive.Definitely recommend this place. The location is convenient too.

I have been getting eye exams and glasses for about 40 years now, and Bling has provided absolutely the best service, and I think, best quality exam I have ever received. The choice of designer frames exceeded all expectations. I went there originally 2 years ago for a unique pair of eye glasses and have returned again for the same. Dr. Evan Tong was personal, professional and explained everything during the exam about my eye condition. The eye wear staff, including Marlene and the owner, spent over two hours with me patiently helping me pick out the right pair of glasses for my features and style. Yes, many of these frames are high end, but thats what I was looking for. I will absolutely look to them for my contacts, future eye wear purchases and exams.
