If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. My business has been using A Star Oil since we opened in 2014, oil delivery is always on time and done with ease. We have had a few issues with our heating system and Art makes it a point to come by to fix it, and is always super pleasant and professional. Even on his crazy busy days he has made time to help us. We appreciate the dedication this company has to their customers.

Reliable oil delivery and reasonable prices.

I left a message with A Star Oil telling them I need to replace my oil tank as its leaking. The next day my call was returned. He said he has a busy day & will call me around 2 in the afternoon. It is now going on 5 PM the next day & still no phone call. The leak spread & most companies wont help you if youre not their customer so thanks for nothing A. Star oil. Luckily Midnight Fuel Oil was kind enough to help me.

I have been a customer for years, and I absolutely recommend them to everyone who has oil. Every time I call, the girls in the office are super nice and make me a first priority. My deliveries are always made on time and there’s a tech. for emergencies that I’ve had to call a couple times. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Everytime I call to get oil, they are always very pleasant and helpful. They always send a truck for delivery either next day or two days from my call. Very happy with their services and they have great prices!

Received my first delivery Monday for my new house. I have never had oil before so i didn’t know how to go about it. Oil was delivered to my place on 12/13 I didnt know that my furnace needed to be prime. I call the same day and they wanted to charge me triple the cost. I thought they wanted to treat their customers well. I dont feel well thats money I didnt have to spare. At least be reasonable.

Absolutely terrible. I will never do business with them again. I ordered $700 worth of oil and they told me it would be delivered the following business day. Fast forward... they never deliver the oil and never call me, meanwhile I have two children at home. THEN I call them asking why it was never delivered and they said the driver did not have a clear path to hook up the oil. Would’ve been nice for them to call me the day of.....Now, because they didn’t notify me that they did not deliver the oil, my tank went completely empty when it is 27 degrees out.Absolutely terrible quality customer service.

Didn’t show up for delivery. The “boss” called me back he was extremely rude and it’s even hard for me to believe he’s a business owner at all. Claimed they called me and I had no missed call with 0 explanation also claimed to have rung the doorbell “ my house doesn’t have a doorbell” so that would have been impossible. Worst service around I would suggest using a reputable company like midnight oil or the heating lady in Pawtucket those guys will show up.

Made 3 appointments for a boiler cleaning, all 3 were no shows. A different excuse each time. Emailed the owner, never heard back. Also, had no heat on a weekend, no service person returned my call. Don’t waste your time!!!

I would like to just give props to A Star Oil. My husband was an oil delivery driver for many years before we became customers of A star. I wish my husbands company cared as much as this company does. Any problems I have I’m directed straight to the owner of the company, who is very prompt and friendly. My husband knows first hand how it is driving in any harsh winter conditions, so I always appreciate and am understanding when I receive any courtesy calls to reschedule which it has always been the following day. I thank the drivers every time for working long hours and always being so great. I also can’t forget the girls in the office who are super sweet, Letting me know constantly of any issues that may arise with my account, or tank. With experience in this industry and having thought every company is the same, arrogant and angry, A Star Oil has completely changed my mind. We will never go anywhere else.

I have Been doing business with this company for many years. I have nothing but great things to say about the company, the drivers are all very nice and go above and beyond. There have been times when i was too busy to realize i needed Oil and they have tried to fit me in to their busy schedule. In the dead of winter i came Home to find my boiler making a weird noise and the owner came out himself at dinner time to fix it for me so i wouldnt go without heat ....... It makes me very sad to see the bad reviews that some of the people on here have been writing. This is a family owned company. The owners work very hard to provide good service. I’m sorry that some of you call when you are completely out of oil and expect oil to magically appear in your tank. It’s very unfair to such a hard working company to have bad reviews from people that are still customers and have no problem getting the lowest price from them but want to talk bad about them ..... smh give credit when credit is due

We have used AStar for over 10 years now. Great price and our delivery guy is great.

I order oil. I find out 3 days later, on the day that its due, that they cant deliver it. Now my 5 and 6 year old get to stay in the house, during a blizzard, with NO heat.The manager seemed real concerned and upset about it too. Not.Totally disrespectful, not willing to make any concessions, and clearly not that reliable. Will never do business with again, and will make it a point to tell all those I can, how bad the service I received was.
