Feed is a great price when they have it in stock, unfortunately lately they have been out of some of there feeds and never know when they are supposed to arrive. So I have unfortunately had to look somewhere that is more reliable at having feed in stock

For being Stock + Field the stock part is lacking. Its pretty empty and a Rural King would be better!

I worked for their promotion during their final days of the store closing. Kurt is a great manager and seems to always be on top of his operations. The prices were a little high, but during the promotional period I spent way too much money. The deals were just too good to pass up.

My wife and I go to this place all the time. They have a lot to choose from. They have scrubs, firearms, welders and supplies for welding, some of the best dog food and different types of bird food, kids section and lots more.

Well this whole store is on sale right now! I dont know if its going out of business or what but theres some great deals there right now so go. Go fast though because there are whole sections empty of enventory. Its decent though. go see it.

I have been in many times looking for furnace filters. Never had them and still don’t . I’m always willing to support a new store but you never have what I need. Couldn’t find my brand of dog food. The guns and Ammo are pretty much non existent. So far, I’m pretty disappointed. Was in about a week ago looking for the “as seen on tv” section, it no longer exists either. That section was easy to shop but, now you have to go all over the place looking for stuff. Anyway, on a good note, I can still bring my dog in and some of the employees are welcoming and helpful. Good luck, I really hope the glitches are temporary. I used to work for Big R and I always tried my best to help the customer and show friendliness and concern for their needs. Your store will do great here if you put in the work! Good luck!

This place has been going to heck for a long time..good riddance..I feel sorry for my friends that work their...cause they have to find a new job...forget the rest....they deserve a 0 rating...

Going out of business sale and still higher than home depot

The store was pretty clean. It is farming supply, so I didnt go in expecting it to be immaculate. I love that they let us bring our dog in! I do wish they would keep the chew bones up a little higher. He was able to have full access with them on the bottom shelf. Thankfully our big guy listens to leave it. Definitely will go back.

Has what you need and several specialty items for farming

They moved everything around you its easy enough to find someone help you but most of the time they dont know where it is either I miss big R

I remember Big R. That store had variety and consistency. Well managed and well stocked. Now, not so much.

Gone downhill a lot. Nothing is in stock, ever. Good luck getting hydraulic oil there. Good luck getting any AG related parts. Its like they are stocking the place as a clothing store more than a farm store.

Used to be a good agricultural store until they sold out. Seems the only thing they keep stocked is toys.

Its a good place to get what you need without going to walmart usualy a better slection with higer quality products

The products we were seeking, sunflower seeds for birds, were unavailable. Also, despite a notice that face masks were required, the majority of people in the building disregarded the requirement. I will go elsewhere in the future where I feel safer.

Use to be where Big R was located. Nothing has really changed. A lot if shelves were bare. Hopefully this is just in anticipation for spring.Lady at service desk was very helpful in finding out if the store had a product I needed. If you need a local place to shop for your farming or hunting needs, I recommend giving them a chance!

Great people in the new establishment takeover. Seemed like an easy transition. My only minor complaint is the firearms desk all 6 times I went were not very.. shall I say personable.. seemed like it was a bother to look at a couple rifles and a handgun. I did end up buying there at a later time but maybe a little more friendly service would be my input. Will buy again from there.

When it was big R it was a nice store. Since becoming stock and field you can never count on anything being in stock. They got rid of a lot of good employees and the store looks like it’s going out of business. They ran our locally owned stock and field place out of business and now we are left with this store. It’s hardly worth going into the store now. Sad.

The service is great. I really like the people. The store consistently looks like they’re going out of business with the empty shelves. I end up annoyed that things are out of stock and shop elsewhere. I hope they work through the inventory issues.

Big R was a much better store...Rural King is the best ag store.

Greater selection for goats chickens. Large selection of dog/cat food. Clean and organized.

Great store for anything from clothes to farm supplies! Definitely check em out, if youve never been to one before. Used to be Big R, but renamed.

The store needs a public suggestion box of what we want back that they got rid of. The large jug of molasses and better deer food.

Ever since it became stock and feild it seems like they cant keep anything in stock for sporting goods wether its ammo or fishing and their sale ads are always for stuff thats not in stock

This store is on a pathetic down hill slide and I call bad management... There is no reason why a FARM store cant thrive in this FARM community! If it closes they should feel like and will look like complete idiots! There is hardly anything on the shelves..

Very disappointing since Big R got bought out. Though the name says Stock and Field nothing is stocked anymore. Especially our brand of dog food. Looking for a more dependable supplier.

I counted 9 employees. Not a single one offered help. 8 were standing around chatted with each other. 1 was wearing a mask. When I asked about it I was given excuses. Not acceptable.

Actually live in Mississippi. Come to Cville several times a year to visit family. BIG R always sucked. Quit going there.... always disapointed. Went to Stock and Field. And was impressed... lots and lots of unseen really cool items. Yes a few unfilled shelves but it is a Huge Huge store. Probably need the time to organize and fill up. Lots and lots of stuff no other store has. Always look forward to going there. Well worth the time to shop somewhere differant. Keep up the good work!!!.

Im sorry we just cant depend on you to have what we need to purchase in stock. You havent had our dog food brand in weeks and you never seem to have wood pellets. Im sure your employees are tired of hearing people complain about your stocking problems. They may not tell you that they are upset, they dont mind telling us. We wont be back. Good luck.

They have a vet that comes there and can give your animals shots and medications if necessary and they are friendly people and good with the animals. Call Big R and ask them when the vet will be there.

I purchased some new items such as boots and chothes. These items are what is left over from the takeover of stock and field from the company Big R. Most shelves are empty and pretty much clearance sale storewide. Go if you need a bargain.

Nice merchandise. And I have enjoyed having comfy and dry feet from the boots I bought.

Asked a young employee a question. They had to radio someone about it, but asked them something completely different than what I wanted to know. Went to customer service and again spoke with a young employee. It was clear that she wasnt listening to what we were asking. We asked to speak with a manager and we were told there wasnt a manager in the store. Asked to speak with whatever manager was on duty, again told there wasnt one. There is always someone in charge in the store at some level. Wont be back to this location.

Hardly any wrangler jeans on the shelf, which has been that way for months, so I ended up having to buy Levis at nearly twice the price.

No inventory. Good place to start a retail store!

Big R reminds me of walking into a store that was selling goods when I was a child but it was a very modern, well stocked, and selling a good variety of clothing, home goods, pet food, etc. It was a pleasure to be there. Before I knew it, the time flew by and it was 45 minutes later. You will be met with good helpers trying to keep clothing stacks straight. Yet, they will stop and answer questions. A shopper cant complain about Big R.

I discovered the Big R store last December and I have shopped there several times. My son was able to buy work pants for a mission trip to El Salvador. He was able to try on several different brands and he found pants just right for him! Today, my husband and I stopped just to buy a puzzle. Love the store!

Would love to give 5 star but there always low on most things or out of stock

Purchased a tool about 2 months ago went in to get the replacement, they dont have one.I have waited 2 weeks they still dont have one. Went into their Hobart welding supply area to get a spool for my mig welder they dont have any. how do you have a welding supply area and not have one of the basic necessities. I guess Ill be going across the road to buy my items from now on thanks stock and field.

Great selection in a great spot for the town. I know people that come from far around to come here. Ill definitely be back.

Nice selection of firearms. Unfortunately, I couldnt purchase any because there was a sign on the display case that said out to lunch. I dont blame the employee for going to lunch, this is a management problem. Ill probably just go to Rural King in the future.

I had asked the stock boy a question about I the change of packaging and if that meant it was a completely different brand or if it was the same thing. He was extremely rude and treated me like I was a two year old. I would like this kid to be taught better customer service and that he should respect his elders. I’m here to say that the Crawfordsville Big R will no longer have my business.

Big R has an excellent selection of products that tradesmen and contractors often need as well as products that are helpful in general. Their staff is courteous and very helpful. From work boots to sporting goods to hospital scrubs, they got it.

I bought flowers outside. The girl that worked there was very helpful and friendly!

Awesome store! I go here at least once a week. AMAZING workers. One night I was walking around and THREE employees asked me if I needed help finding anything..called manager to let him know bc that NEVER happens.

Since changing over from Big R, this place downright sucks! They NEVER have things in stock anymore. SEVERAL bare shelves! Get it together or get out of our town!

Not sure what happened to them since my 1st trip there 4 or 5 months ago but they had so many empty shelves on categories I went specifically for.

Always find what I need here and more. Usually at a lower price too. Recently stocked up on wild bird seed, and while there I bought 4 beautiful mums, bigger and less cost than anywhere else I had shopped.

Its the old Big R store.. they have a little bit of everthing.. when we were there it was supposed to be 20% off everything but when we checked out it was regular price..

A disappointment compared to big R

Large selection of items in a no-frills, clean and friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to with plenty of parking.

Can be hit or miss when you shop here. Sometimes you get the most helpful staff in the world....Other times you wish they would disappear because they are so rude or just plain old stupid about their own products. Dont even bother going if you are looking for hunting and fishing stuff. Its always a mess and their policies are asinine concerning hunting stuff. They have a great farm selection, but since they are pretty much the only game in town, that isnt saying a whole lot I suppose. Either way, most of the time, you can get what you came for. Prices arent the cheapest, but they do have great deals every once in awhile.

Not as good as Big-R. Not sure if they are still selling off Big-R inventory until it sells out, but there is a limited selection on a lot of things. Definitely a little pricier than Big-R was. Though, their feed prices seem to be decent.

Everyone that works at big R are very helpful, they take the time to help the customers they always ask hows your day and their management staff including our favorite John Henry always ask how my husband whose #fightingthegoodfight, Cancer, and starting to win.I highly recommend going to shop at the Crawfordsville Indiana big R.

Our local Big R has the things you need and a lot of cool gadgets you dont but buy anyway.Friendly service for the people and a warm welcome to my sisters service dog.

Great place to shop when you need anything and at great prices. But would have made it five stars if you spend alot be prepared to wait at the cash register little girl took over 25min to ring us up and when I was handing the stuff we are buying my wife had to grab the bags from behind the girl and bag it are her self it was a pain. Thought we were at save a lot lol

Just God awful. Hardly anything on the shelves. The few items I needed were nowhere to be found And been like that for months. Close it up for all I care. I’ll never be back.

They dont have anything compared to Big R. No longer have my dog food. Went to get wheel and tire for trailer and they no longer have those either.

Pretty good hardware and farm store

I come here for dog supplies because their prices are so much better than pet stores but selection is so much larger than places like Walmart or Target. Ive never purchased food here, but I get toys, treats, and chews. Antler prices cant be beat!
