I was new to the area just before the pandemic hit. After 18 months I couldnt stand it anymore, so I decided to try a local salon. I couldnt be happier! They do a great job, are very friendly and reasonably priced.

I was at the store for a return with no receipt. I realize I should get Allan in store credit not a cash refund. Instead they gave me a receipt that I had to call Menards so they could look up my receipts. The purpose of a return with no receipt is because you have no receipts. Every other store gives in store credits. It was ridiculous. They rang up about 100 items before they told me that I cannot get an in-store receipt. Then I had to take everything back.I’ve been a contractor buying at Menards for 30 years. Nothing like this has ever happened before.

Its Menards. Pretty consistent across locations. Easy to find items. This location is particularly clean-looking. I cant quite out my finger on the reason for this. I guess its my prerogative

UPDATE: Menards insurance and store will not accept any charges. Ricky was only given a verbal not written up. Kayla said she couldnt refund me because its in a claim but the claim was denied so I wasnt even refunded for their mistake. Im absolutely disgusted. Ricky in paint section was texting while working on my order and didnt properly seal my can. Now my back seat is ruined. I have to wait for their insurance to refund me for my damage seats, seat cover and the purchase. Ill never be trusting the employees to close the cans ever again. My back seat is ruined

I would post a negative if I could. The customer service there is sub par and going down from there. Its a chore for anyone who works there to answer any questions and they let you know it. It goes all the way up to the top of management, the Store Manager. Looking for another place to shop, as I am sure plenty of others are also. I dont think the management cares, tho. I wonder how corporate lets this go on. I cant be the first to complain about this.

Like shopping here,but sometimes like today,you cant tell what the price of an item is. The man had a scanner,but wouldnt scan it. Took three different knife blades to the counter and ask the cashier to scan all three.then I purchased the cheapest one.

I cant ever find anyone to help me when I go there. Im going to have to find another Menards

They had what I was searching for, which was great. The check out guy was polite and nice. Store looked pretty well take care of as it has always been with my few visits there.

Staff was very nice & helpful! Actually everything was good except... I had a store credit that I got a few days ago & for whatever reason (I was trying to redeem it) & the cashier couldve figure out how to use it because it was saying invalid! But it was just obtained and hadnt been used.

Menards is great. If you ask a question they actually help you. I hope they never lose that quality.

The good news, they have sch 80 PVC. The bad news, nobody organizes this department.

My partner and I went there to buy some puppy accessories. We bought a new pretty pink for our adorable female pit-bull puppy. We bought an extending leash for her, a couple of toys. And for ourselves, we bought 50 ounces of Lifesavers, which is saving us 50 percent off regular size lifesavers. Staff were polite and helpful

I Love the store! Its clean, neat, and well laid out. The biggest problem is trying to find someone if you need help. Even then, you may get someone who doesnt know much about their department.

I put 5 stars cause the product i bought was great. A good saveing tool. The L.E.D. Lamp worked, with rhe hand saw I bought. The Monster drink I had. Tasted fine. With the package of potato chips, I bought.

Went to Menards looking for a plumbing part. They had the exact replacement part in stock. Menards Carries everything you need for repairs in your home. Ymbing, electrical, lumber, paint, landscape supplies as well as all of the necessary tools to do the job. They also carry some grocery items. If you can not find what you are looking for just ask an employee and they will find it for you.

Nice place, Always feels like I was in there for hours. Quiet staff, but that must be why the shelves are stocked well.

I have been to several locations these stores always are very clean well laid out and organized and the people are friendly.

I am an average sized woman in my 50s. I was in Menards today purchasing a substantial amount of baseboards for remodeling. After loading it on my cart and taking it up to the cash register, I asked the cashier if she had any plastic wrap to wrap the boards together. She handed me the wrap and just stood there watching me struggle to wrap the multiple pieces of trim together. Never offering ANY assistance. I said to her, You feel free to take the rest of my things out of my cart and ring them up, while I struggle with all this wood. She did so, but still did not help with the wood. I paid for my things and pushed my cart beyond the cash register. I continued to try wrapping my trim pieces. In a span of 10 minutes I saw at least 8 Menards employees walk by and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE offered a helping hand. Is it Menards? Or is it just society? What has happened to customer service? Offering a helping hand? So sad.

These employees they have now are useless, just walking around on their phones!!!

If you have to buy anything and don’t care about the service go to the one in Crest Hill, IL. They have such horrible customer service and the manager is super ghetto. Can’t even apologize for a mistake they did. Very difficult to get a receipt.

Be aware of the mask police. One manager woman will hound you to put on mask or get out of her store. I have considered calling the local police for her abusive behavior.

Menards was my go to store for a lot of my purchases. Yet in the last month prices of items have gone up $1 and then to $2 more for items that cost $7.99 are now $9.99, to me Thats unacceptable and its Greedy Menards trying to double their profits this year cuz they went down during 2020.

They always have great gardening and growing supplies. We can also pick up some important cleaning supplies and gloves which we need for work.

I purchased a screen door and had to order the door 3 times. Each time I ordered the door came damaged. The store manager offered me a discount on the second one of 10%. She stated it was minor scratches. (I told her if I returned the door they would charge me a restocking fee of 25%) and they should have offered me a discount for having to wait because I had to reorder the door. The 3rd time the door came with scratches and a hole in the screen. They ended up having to build a door from all 3 doors and the lady had the nerve to say she felt bad so she refunded 30 dollars. There is no directions at menards they have no customer service department and everyone does what they want. You can’t talk to a manager, division manager or store director. If you want good customer service go to Home Depot they price match and you don’t have to wait 3 months for your rebate; you don’t have to wait 3 weeks. You usually get your rebate in less than 2 weeks.

Great staff. I always enjoy when I have to go to this store. Its clean, has an easy to understand layout, and has friendly and helpful staff. They are doing a good job with covid protocols. I try to get there at opening to avoid crowds as much as possible. Employees and customers all wear masks.

I special ordered ceiling tiles on 1/6/21 and was told they would take 2 weeks and that they would e mail me when they came in. I checked on there status today and found out they came in the next day... I have been sitting with a torn up ceiling all this time and nobody contacted me. Total B.S.

They charge for curbside pickup- its not expensive, but they arent fast either- think days not hours. Product has gone out of stock before it was picked. You have to go inside to cancel an internet order. And many of their products dont have locations on them- this may be lumber products specifically. Finally, the covid wipe is reused between customers. But I suppose if it is killing covid germs, then reusing the killing stuff wipe is ok!? I dont see drs reusing alcohol swabs between injections.

Always neat and clean. Employees are polite, profesional and helpful to customers if they cant answer a question they get an employee that can help you.

Very polite staff. Social distancing between customers and other precautions taken but I did not see anyone disinfecting the carts. Hence the none perfect rating. There is also no way to practice social distancing with cashiers. They are up to less than 3 feet from customers with no barriers.

Blains farm and fleet had a charbroil grill for $119.00 Asked if Menards price matched and was told they do. Menards had the same grill for $149.00 . So price matched at $119.00 plus the 11% off was what I should have gotten. They told me they couldnt do that because they paid more for grill than that. They could do $118.00 but not the 11%. That is not my problem, their policy is price matching and 11% off on everything. Cant pick and choose.

Awful experience they told me that they had what I wanted I called them that morning I drove all the way to that store in an hour and 15 minutes out of my way she assured me that morning that they had what I needed and when I got there they did not have it I was very very upset I will never go to that Menards again

They raised all their water prices unnecessarily you can go to Farm and Fleet and get the exact same water for a 1.89 a case Menards raised their to almost $3 a case ridiculous. I make that extra trip 10 minutes farther to Farm and Fleet now

Ive always been a patron of Menards. The staff is friendly, but doesnt bother you like the other big name home improvement stores. Their Master Force house brand of tools are actually quality tools. I was just there to buy my 5th and 6th Master Force high-velocity fans. The Weber road location is my favorite by far.

Love the 11% rebates on everything. Some Associates are well versed in where everything is at if you ask them

I’ve been a menards customer for a very long time but my recent visit was very disappointing.I made a purchase that required for me to rent a truck due to its size and by the time I came back they sold it to someone else! The Manager Wes made little to no effort in finding a solution.I didnt need a refund, I needed what I paid for especially when I went out of my way to get it to home.His poor management skills are unacceptable and became in useless when needed.

I ordered online we pull you pick up for a $10 fee. When I arrived at the pick up, I was told to go pull the items with the help of an employee. Online it was advertised as a safe contact less drive up pickup.

If it was possible to give 0 i would. I brought my items in for store credit return, I disclosed prior to starting the return that I did not have a receipt and some of the goods were never purchased through them. They have kept my items gave me a receipt inquiry look up via email to even get my items returned back to me. Best part some guy named James responds once a week. There is no phone number there isnt anything to speed this process up. What a great run business model

Store getting to be a little to crowded with merchandise!! Especially groceries!!! This is a home improvement store! Im not going there to buy food!!! We have more than enough grocery stores in the area!!! Every store always seems to have clearances of food up front! Because its just not selling!!!Wish they would get rid of it all!!!! And go back to what they used to do best!!! Also the mail in rebates need to go!!! In this modern computer world!!! Why cant the rebates be done online??? Or not at all!!! Just give me truly discounted prices!!! Then Ill finally be able to say that I Saved big Money!!!

Menards in Crest Hill is clean and neat. They have all home improvements plus a grocery section. The 11% rebate cones in handy when they have it. They do not have in store contractors. They have a board with names and numbers of local contractors. We found a great tiling guy.

One of the better Menards around.The staff is friendly and helpful even if your question doesnt pertain to their area of responsibility. They will help as best as they can and if needed they will find someone who can help.Even the cashiers are friendlier.

Just realized they have a nice food selection in my new Menards. We are working on our house and this discovery was the best thing to happen me all day. I avoided the grocery store altogether! Hi-5. Best prices, friendly staff and just a great place for our family to shop.

Sump pump prices are alot cheaper than home Depot.

Went looking for a couple of things: A walk in tub was first, they only had 1 on display. Then checked out their work jackets. Found 2 that I liked. Picked-up some K cups, they have the best deal on them, then you get 11% back from them. They still have only 2 electric handicap carts.

Super store, I really like shopping there :):)
