Good variety to choose from, including many varieties that most other area bagel shops do not offer.(Although, I do wish they carried a whole grain bagel for special diets).They provide bags and twist ties to separate your own bagels at home to prevent various flavors from intermixing, or for freezing some…and they have individual portions of cream cheese, jelly, and beverages at an additional cost, and napkins and plastic ware for free if you need them. “Day old” bagels are sometimes available too at a reduced price. Friendly staff, fair prices, easy access, good location. I suggest giving this Bagel Factory a try! I think you will be glad you did!

Best bagels in St. Louis and the closest thing you’ll find to a NY bagel. Cash only and you have to get there early or risk them running out of certain varieties. If you’re partial to the loafs of bread Panera tries to pass off as bagels, this place won’t be for you because apparently you don’t like bagels.

We were here all the way from Texas! When we visited St Louis we had to get here!!Let me begin to say how disappointing it was. First of there is a sign that says Masks optional and (1 household) ( not very specific). We thought it was 1 member from a household. So I asked my husband and kids to wait in the car! As I enter, the man Incharge asks me to step out. Customer in front of me then leaves and apologized to me( its not her fault, we really did read the darn sign)You should put in a sign that says one person at a timeWell we wait 10 min outside the door and then I enter ( mask on mind you)The man is now taking a large order over the phone while I am there waiting to order!Well! I JUST TURNED RIGHT BACK AND LEFT. YOU may have great bagels but you surely need training in respecting customers who buy your bagels!Also please redo your sign! only 1 person in at a time not 1 household!

Best EVER!! Im from the east coast and these bagels give me life when Im homesick. I forgot that they only take cash but they told me to pay them later. I was shocked, but had a check and they took that. I decided to bring my daughter while she was in town because I had moved out of the area awhile ago and wanted her to experience a really good bagel. Now she cant wait to move back home so she can get her bagels there.

I have been buying my daily bagel here for over 20 years. Theres nothing like a fresh, authentic bagel. I buy 18 at a time and freeze them. This is a great local asset.

Best bagels in town. Real water bagels made by people who know a quality bagel. Its got a great yet friendly no nonsense atmosphere. Pretty much besign to pick up the bagels and take them home. Not a dine in establishment--it is a bagel shop nothing more. The real deal!

6 bagels for $5??? And a bag for freezing them with instructions included??? Who has time to freeze them? They are delicious! Super friendly staff. COVID-friendly. Top notch. We’ll be back...earlier next time because we missed the blueberry.

Whats not to love, authentic delicious bagels, that are slightly chewy, airy and flavorful. There are no frills here, no crazy coffee drinks to order, no eggs youre adding to a bagel. If you want it toasted they have provided a toaster and knife for you to do it yourself.Weekends will sell out by 11 at the latest!

This place is amazing!!! Water based bagels, so they are almost all vegan. I think the only bagel that isnt vegan is the egg bagel, but the owner is knowledgeable so you can ask! Cash only. Owner is so nice!! Strawberry bagel is my favorite!

Absolutely the best! When I visit from Oregon, I go pick bagels up for my friends that used to live in St. Louis. Bring cash because last time I was there they didnt take cards but they were SUPER NICE about holding our bagels while we went to go get money. Salt BAGELS RULE!

Amazing place. Have not been there in over 21 years but was craving the salt bagels. Unfortunately for me I did not have cash, fortunately for me the owners told me I can pay them later. As much as I refused to take the bagels they were adament in making sure I left satisfied. I will pay them back 100 fold and encourage others to patronize their business. They made my day with their graciousness and the bagels were better than I remembered.

Good selection of flavors (including jalapeno, my favorite!) with a crispy crust and chewy center. you can also buy butter or cream cheese, and prepare your bagels on a small counter with a cutting board and bread knife.

I love their bagles.

Stopped for a couple bagels, gentleman only accepts cash, gave me and my buddy two free bagels that were delicious. Need more small business like this; we will be back next time we’re in St. Louis and definitely will bring cash!

Never heard of this place before. So I was nearby for a work training, didnt have my car so I went to the nearest place and man I lucked out! The bagels were delicious! The guy offered me some anyways when I told him I didnt have cash (turns out I had a couple bucks). Raisin bran was the best. Big bagels, several flavors and an old fashioned layout. I dont know when Ill be back because its not near my area but next time Im around Ill definitely stop in.

When I grew up, bagels were only available at Jewish delicatessens. I consider those real bagels. To my tastes, Bagel Factory has authentic bagels. These are water bagels-boiled first then baked. Big variety. Also often have discounts on day-old. I like them when they are golden brown.

REAL bagels. These are classic chewy bagels with tons of great bite. 6 bagels for $5. They always have ready to go packs of day old bagels. Bring cash, no cards here. Love this place.

I live across the street from this place and whenever I want a bagel, I go to The Bagel Factory. The bagels are all fresh and so doughy and soft inside. The flavor of even the plain bagels is amazing and you can tell these are quality bagels made with years of experience.

The Bagel Factory has by far the best bagels in the St. Louis area. There is no comparison. For some reason, they will not slice or toast your bagel, but you can use plastic knives and their kitchen toaster. Cash only.

These are the best bagels in St. Louis. The only real bagels here, to my knowledge. My favorite are the everything bagels. Ask about the bialy!

Most authentic bagels Ive found in STL so far. They are boiled, but they arent like a NY boiled bagel. They still come off as being more like bagel-shaped-bread instead of chewy jewish-style bagels.The price is right ($1 per bagel) but it is definitely a to-go place. They have a toaster and cutting board that customers can use in the lobby, but its obviously not high on the list of priorities for them. No seating or tables to sit and hang out.Also, dont order the coffee, its bad. Real bad.Overall Id say its not worth a trip across town for, but if I was in that area, Id stop by to grab a few.

First time in today, the bagels are fantastic! Cheap as all get out and some really interesting flavors like jalepeno and Russian rye. I live 15 minutes away and Im definitely going to be back next weekend.

As a former New Yorker, these are the real deal. The only thing lacking is in a better selection of cream cheese spreads like Essa Bagel does. then, it would be the undisputed KING of Bagels!

As a transplant from Western NY, this is the only place in St. Louis that can make a good bagel. Theyre cash only, but an ATM is on site. Get there early on the weekends for the best selection.

These are genuine water boiled bagels. O tried the jalapeño bagel and it quite honestly sucked in flavor.Warning: this place is literally a factory that makes bagels. There is no place to sit down and eat and they do not serve single serve portions or single serve coffee besides a pot coffee. free cream cheese they give in single service basically a prepackaged cream cheese. they claim to have jalapeno cream cheese but in reality it is a tub of Philadelphia jalapeño cream cheese.
