The garage door went on the fritz last night. I sent in a email repair request last night and at 8:04am the next morning I received a call from the office to schedule the repair which was 1p-3p window of the same day. Joel, the repair tech, was on time @ 1p! His assessment of the repair was quick. The opener needed a new belt which he informed me had a lifetime warranty. He lubricated the door glides and springs. His actual repair time was aprox 15 min. In total he spent about 30 minutes. A total WOW experience!

Joe did a wonderful job of repairing the door spring that had broken the previous evening as we parked our car. He came early in the evening after he was contacted. He did a fantastic job of replacing the spring and also did a full maintenance of the garage door. Definitely above and beyond expectations.

What good is a review if it isnt honest and provide feedback to a prospective consumer.My commercial garage door broke yesterday. I Googled, garage door repair near me. A bunch popped up and I called this one.Technician pulls up couple hours later in an unmarked work van that had some other company lettering removed.Technician looks at garage door and says its off the track, 2 hinges are broken and system needs rewinding. I said, how much. He said itll be around $1,000. I said how long will it take? He said 1.5 hours, maybe 2. I said how much are parts? He said $50. I said you make $500 an hour????? He said we dont go by hour, we go by job.Tech said did you hear the conversation he was having with the other guy? I said no, why would I? He said he has a commercial, 24 foot wide (I believe) garage door installed and that is $8,000. He said he told guy imagine the liability if that garage door falls on someone and how much that life insurance will cost you??? There are precautions and care we need to take with that job. I said you dont give the same care and precautions for a non-commercial garage door? He didnt reply.I looked at it knowing its now almost 6:30pm and I need the garage door to close before I can leave tonight. But, I just didnt feel it was a $1,000 worth of work. Thats more than your average lawyer makes per hour. I said, thanks anyway, but Im not going to have you do the repair.I was standing there as he Facetimed his boss and showed him the repairs needed. They talked, I could hear everything. He said, I told her $1,000, and he spoke to him in another language. So why talk in English, then all of a sudden speak in another language. Well, if youve been around the block enough, you know why. He gets off the phone and says the best he can do is $875. And I was like, thats still over $400 an hour. Thought about it and I was like, no sorry, still not having you do the repair.As he was writing up the receipt and I asked him for my $39.99 to write on the receipt what was wrong with the garage door. After the card was processed, he gave me the receipt (see attached pic). It was handwritten but there was no company name on the receipt. Very unprofessional. He said the name of the company would be on receipt that he sent me electronically via text.He left and it took about an hour, but I found someone and they came out at 8:15pm. It took him about 40 minutes and it was $350.I firmly believe that this company was trying to take advantage of a woman, late at night, who they thought knew nothing and was in a bind and would just pay whatever they said it would cost.I understand it was after hours and of course I expect to pay more, but for you to have the audacity to want to charge me $1,000 for a job that was done on 30 minutes, you should be ashamed of yourself.If you are looking for a garage door or repair, my advice would be, to keep looking.

I’ve used this company twice. Once for general maintenance and once to replace the mainspring. Both times he arrived during the agreed upon timeframe and worked efficiently.
