Great place to store and launch your boat. Reasonably priced and Jim the owner is hard working and personable.

Jimmy and the team at Port Barrington Marina are really wonderful. They are super efficient with the in/out service. The 3 days with later evening hours are a plus when you want to stay out on the water. Being a relatively new boater theyve been patient and super helpful with questions -good and trustworthy people. It takes a few extra minutes to drive here but weve come to really enjoy the road the through the forest preserve. Highly recommend PBM!!!

Jimmy was very helpful. I have an old boat and he was able to fix all the issues. His price was great. It’s the best it’s ran in 20 years. very nice to deal with also.

Jim and JT are awesome marina owners. They just put in a new concrete ramp. Very reasonable prices and trustworthy repairs. Couldnt imagine going anywhere else. I use inside summer and winter storage with in/out service.

Wonderful place to store your boat. In and Out service is a boaters dream. Love how the marina is secluded off of the main road surrounded by farmland - gives you that piece of mind knowing that your boat is safe.

Jim and JT have taken care of me and my boat for years now. Down to earth attitude, always helping in any way they can. The inside storage with in and out service, is there red carpet treatment. And reasonably priced when compared to places farther north up river. My only complaint is mother nature shuts the river down, (closed or no wake) more than Id like. But it is what it is and they nor I have any control over that.

Port Barrington Marina is excellent. In fact, just making my way to the marina I drive thru some beautiful scenery including heavily dense trees and open prairie land and already my blood pressure starts to lower and Im feeling good! When I get to the marina, Jimmy (the owner) always has my boat gassed up and ready to go. There have been a few times where I caused my own problem like completely draining the battery due to leaving the radio on. With a boat full of people and ready to go with no juice in the battery Jimmy was quick to replace my battery for NO CHARGE and off we went. All that was said was have a great day! and we did. Whenever I have any concern about my boat Jimmy is always quick to take a look, again, no charge. The atmosphere at this marina is excellent. Fuel prices are great (comparably speaking) I know Im in good hands!

What a great marina with even better owners! We were boating down the river when our prop hit something and it immediately stopped working. We got pulled to his marina and he was very busy. I thought my entire lower drive was completely ruined. Jim kindly told us to hang for a bit and then he helped us. He pulled the prop, he changed out some part inside of it and we were back boating in an hour and he did it all for only $50!! Because we were stranded, he could have taken advantage of us and instead he went out of his way to help us! What could have been a horrible and expensive experience turned out to be no big deal and Im glad we met Jim and the Port Barrington Marina!

The service was outstanding, even with 5 other people in my party. The food, though, was a bit dull. I had the steak wrap, priced at about 12 or 14 dollars, and was not impressed to say the least. Eric was a great server who makes a good drink.

Weve been storing our boat with Jim for about 8 years. He has helped us out on more than one occasion, besides boat storage, and all we can say is hes a really good guy. I think he would give you the shirt off his back if you so needed it. Thanks Jim.........

Boating on 7/7/2018, this place is a little sketchy coming in due to the narrow dirt roads and GPS wont take you all the way in had to ask locals, but my first experience was awesome. $20 bucks they put you on the water and take you out like royalty. Dam I tipped an extra $20 because of the hospitality. Affordable pricing for docking and storing. This is now my new hidden treasure. I can literally ride my Harley in like Han solo (star wars geek) and boat till my little heart desires, Call( Chief gives you his cell number), get picked up without my truck hassles and ride back home while my boat is in a 5500 sqft garage, Im in !!! Thank you guys you made my first experience memorable. These guys are so on point that once I was done I asked the yard chief if he wanted a beer to relax he replied No I still have 11 boats on the water its still not MILLER TIME LOL Awesome!

Jim is the BEST !!! We went to pick up our boat from being serviced, and decided last minute to take it out for a quick ride. But it was a lil chilly out and we werent prepared. Jim gave us some shirts and jackets just so we could enjoy ourselves. He gassed up our boat and we were off. What a great day we had! ! THANKS JIM !!Dan Santoro

The folks at Port Barrington are fantastic. I get my boat back better than when I brought it in. Prices are fair and service is always trustworthy and timely.

Weve been using PBMs in and out service for a few years now, and wouldnt consider any other marina. Yesterday our boat blew a fuel line and we were dead in the water on a Saturday night. A local boater was kind enough to tow us to another marina and Jim drove down and picked us and our boat up with the trailer and drove us back after closing hours! Thank you Port Barrington, Jim, and JT!
