We have used ZIP for plaques and ribbons for a number of years. Working in the association management business these are a crucial part to our annual meeting. We ultimately did receive exactly what we wanted however had a few slight issues throughout the process.Initially I had asked for a time-line to have our ribbons and plaques produced. Following that timeline and allowing more than ample amount of time from our deadline (about 4 weeks), I was informed that we would not receive the items by our deadline a week prior to that deadline. This was briefly mentioned almost as if the specified timeline of the customer did not matter.We had created custom ribbons and after 2 weeks of no proofs I called the owner who told me they had been busy. I dont understand how you could be too busy for a customer who spends $3,000 a year with your business, but regardless received proofs a day or two later, and through very detailed instructions they were still incorrect when the proofs were received. The only way to have them done as invisioned was to literally draw a picture of what was requested. These were extremely basic ribbons with our logo and president next to it similar to other custom ribbons.After all of that, we were double charged for some ribbons as they were sent in seperate shipments. In addition we did not receive a plaque which we had been charged for and requested. (After we noticed this we contacted our sales rep and were sent the correct plaque and charges were sorted out.)Although we did receive what was requested, I believe customer service is a great weakness for this company. During annual meeting time we need a plaque and ribbon supplier who will focus on the details and be able to meet or exceed our expectations during that hectic time for us. They should be double and triple checking their work prior to our receipt to avoid loss of clients. We are looking at alternative suppliers for our awards presentation at next years annual meeting. (Would also like to add communication with our rep who is also the owner was terrible and not once did she initiate a phone call to clarify although our order is typically the same year to year with the exception of ribbons which we occasionally add.)Overall, we received what was requested however simply put were not satisfied with the quality of service received.
