Coffee was great, staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. Was looking forward to coming here all week and was not disappointed.

Super cute cafe located in Culebra. I ordered a coconut honey lavender cappuccino. Yes, it sounds like a mouth full, but completely worth it. Very picturesque as well.

Best coffee in Culebra. The croissant was perfection. Buttery crust on the outside, fluffy inside. Great to dip your coffee in. The avocado toast was delicious. Im from Chicago where avocado toast is everywhere. This was a nice balance of avocado and lime and the bacon and egg cooked to perfection. Pictures do not do it justice.

The coffee and food were great! But be sure to arrive early as the line gets long even only a couple of minutes after they open! The food menu is at the front so be sure you dont miss it. The avocado toast was one of the best Ive head (on the island or on the US mainland). However, if Im looking for a sandwich, I fell in love with the one at Culebra Coffee. Considering CC and BF dont overlap much in the days theyre open, I recommend trying them both!

Gourmet weekend breakfast with quality coffee and FRESH ingredients served in a relaxed atmosphere with amazing customer service. Worth the price and the wait. Arrive early for faster service as this place is popular on weekends for good reason. Ariel and his wife are amazing. Highly recommend.

This place is has some pretty good food. I wouldnt recommend it as an authentic experience, but the coffee was very good. Place has a good atmosphere and you can write on the walls!

Fantastic sandwiches and killer coffee. The tropical cappuccino is a delight - made with coconut milk and honey. Staff is friendly, the space is open and breezy. One of two modern and hip places on the island currently, this place would be just as at home in New York or San Francisco.

Peanut butter sandwich was bomb dot com. I should have put some salt and/or hot sauce on the egg sandwich.Nice vibe. Writing on the walls. Clean.Open at 8:30 AM on a Monday thankfully.

This is the place to go once you make it to the island! Its a cozy little cafe for coffee and good eats. Customers can write on the walls, draw pictures. The owner, island raised, is the coffee master! I am not a coffee drinker, however, my husband said it was excellent. The food 🤗 DELICIOUS! We ordered the Avocado Toast and the kids ordered the French Toast...sooooooo, so good! Be sure to stop here, the owners are really nice and even the restroom is unique! I took a picture! LOL!

This was our first visit to Blac Flamingo Coffee ...only because it hasn’t been there for any of our prior visits to Culebra. What a shining gem for the island — and much needed! We loved having a spot to grab excellent coffee and breakfast. We split the French toast with fresh berries and it was the perfect fuel for a day of exploring beautiful Culebra. The decor was adorable and I loved the idea of the musician’s nook (after all, we are from Nashville!) Next visit we will bring some instruments and cozy up for a bit. Blac Flamingo is an excellent addition to Culebra!

A little more expensive than Culebra Coffee, but lots of great offerings in both coffee and food. Dont let the posted menu fool you, they DO have a food menu up at the counter! Only downside is they dont have a chai latte (this might bother you much less than me!!). Their rishi teas are a good substitute. Avocado toast is a highlight, as is the turkey pastrami bagel. Arrive early as they can get busy fast!!

If I was dying and granted one last breakfast, Blac Flamingo Coffee is where I’d request. Greeted warmly like and old friend each time we come, even if over a year has past. This is easily my favorite place to go out on Culebra. The freshest ingredients are used, the best bread, and avocado toast that I am sure that the angels in heaven must prepare and hand down to the kitchen staff to serve.The coffee which I sadly have only been able to taste about a dozen different ones :) are the best coffees, lattes, etc.. you can get anywhere! You will have to come back here to get one another this good.If you are on Culebra, head on over at about 8:00 and wait outside in the wonderful breeze for them to open at 8:30. You will need that much time to decide between the items on their menu because each is delicate balance of inspiring artisanship and the most wonderful flavors to ever reach your lips.Lastly, Blac Flamingo gets extra points for being on the friendliest island. Beautiful beaches, wonderful water, wonderful people.

I was so thrilled to enjoy a lovely breakfast this morning on culebra. Maybe because I had very little expectation(covid regulations have most places closed), but everything was well done from the coffee to the breakfast options to the fresh limeade. The atmosphere is also nice especially considering the current situation. The staff was friendly and helpful. It really made my morning.

I am not a breakfast person unless I’m at Blac Flamingo. In the couple of times my family and I have visited Culebra we always make a point to have breakfast at the Blac Flamingo. I have never had a meal or coffee I have been unhappy with, and the owners are as kind as they are hardworking. Though everything I’ve had was excellent if you only get one chance to stop by I highly suggest the chicken club sandwich and a shakerato. If I had the ability to give an award for best chicken sandwich this place would have the biggest trophy imaginable. The Blac Flamingo has the best coffee and some of the best food on the island. A visit to Culebra wouldn’t be complete without a visit there.

Horrible slow slow SLOW service. I understand island time but this is beyond that. Just bad management. Coming on vacation you want to take it slow but to slow and you waste valuable time. Get it together Blac Flamingo!!

They came here to help support the economy, as they had mentioned, and theyre doing a fantastic job of it. I came here early in the morning, at around 7 or 8 am, and the place was packed with people. The cappuccino I ordered and the sandwich were both very delightful to have, and the whole experience wouldve been perfect had it not been for the lack of space to accommodate so many customers, which I might add is my only complaint. Aside from that, everything was perfect. I give it 4/5 stars due to the lack of space, but if they added an outter lounge area or expanded the building a bit further then itd be 5 stars for sure.

You wait on a line for an hour and when you get to the counter they tell you they don’t have anything left. They should keep people informed as they sell out of things, that way we can decide if we want to wait and hour.

Blac Flamingo was a great choice for breakfast! Fantastic coffee drinks made to order, beautiful coffee art to boot. Coffee and espresso drinks all pulled fresh. The food was WONDERFUL. Small menu but with great portions, nicely curated with fresh island flavors but simple enough to feed picky appetites. We had the crepes with Nutella and fresh fruit, avocado toast with bacon, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes and a fried egg (recommend!) and breakfast tacos with homemade salsa. 10/10 Recommend if you’re staying on Culebra overnight.

Like most places in culebra the hours seem flexible, and i think they are only open until early afternoon. we both had the poached eggs over greens and i had an iced coffee while my wife had a latte. everything was excellent. its a cool little spot.

Phenomenal breakfast place!! Found this gem off the beaten path and it was well above our expectations! We tried to get the avocado toast but they ran out the first day so instead we ordered the French toast and breakfast tacos. They were soooo good! I’m not even a French toast gal, but I REALLY enjoyed them. Everything was fresh and not over the top, simple but packed with tastes. The tropical capp was AMAZING too. We actually ended up here two days in a row because WE HAD to get the avocado toast and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

Service was amazing! We had a fruity and smooth cup of coffee. If your into artisanal coffee this is the place to go. Try a pour over or americano.We had the sourdough breakfast sandwich which was amazing. Will definitely be back while we’re staying on Culebra.

This place has amazing food and the staff is super friendly. We came here based on the recommendation of Carlos Jeep Rental and were not disappointed. The avocado toast and the oatmeal were delicious as were the coffee drinks. We came back in a few days to try a few more things but they were closed, either because it was a Sunday or because the island had no power. No big deal, we will hust have to come back to Culebra and visit this place again.
