Terrible place. Not clean smells like old dirty mop water, incompetent workers, on the phone half the time or turns wrong pump on, and the number 1 thing, asked years ago after the owner sold it if they were going to fix the parking lot and it hasnt changed so seeing as they dont have handicap parking and its impossible for a wheelchair to even roll on it i have filed a claim with the ADA seeing as they have more than 4 parking spots they are required to have one. 2 stars? Cause they have back up generators and open 24 hours. But I stopped going since Feb 2020

They have the best biscuits around the area. They do seem to run out of some foods (sometimes bacon but everyday eggs) and dont really prepare more even if I come in at 7 a.m for breakfast every single day. The girls have been very polite up until recently and not quite sure why thats changed but its made me feel unwelcomed and I guess Ill have to start going back to Jacks. The older ladies are always nice and polite and though I could understand if it was sporadic visits during the week but its literally everyday that I come for breakfast and lunch. They have great coffee the best Ive found in Cullman. Again though the attitudes have made my visits undesirable and Ill be going there less now. Another example has been when I get wings or chicken strips or even a hamburger they dont ask if I want condiments that generally go with the food but they will ask everyone around me if they want sauce or lettuce and tomato??? I am in Cullman for work purposes and when I found this place it was like a little hole from home and I fell in love but that has since deteriorated a bit and will be visiting less. :(

The biscuits are the best! However it seems they have a set amount they cook every morning and always run out early.My opinion is they should cook more as they already know they run out and have to turn away so many wanting breakfast. Also the lunch food items are cooked the fast way either in a microwave or a oven and would taste much better if ( for example) egg rolls, pizza sticks, tater wedges were deep fried not cooked in a microwave. Also maybe add more variety of lunch menu items. Just little things could use improvement but over all it is a great store and the owner will order things to sell in the store if a customer ask and it is in his power to do so.I had ask for a certain kind of liquid creamer and it is now sold there.🎉

I love that they are open 24 hrs. and keep a huge variety of food, snacks and hardware items. The stores shelves are always stocked and perfectly arranged and the entire store is always neat and clean no matter what time of day or night I stop in. Most of the cashiers are always friendly and courteous.

Always nice, friendly service and staff. Great breakfast as well as their other food. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s a great hometown store.

New owners

I love the rock store .Its a great little store with just about anything you need .Plumbing supplies along with alot of other hardware stuff from Apple sauce to zip ties .you can find it here anytime, all the time.I do not like the biscuits .The bacon is amazing and I seen salt pork yesterday .the eggs and bacon are my fav .they also have sausage but its not my favorite .This store is extremely busy all day long .this is the go to place for everyone headed to work .Its also the stop by spot for everyone headed home in the evenings .2 nd shift 3rd shift no matter your hours they are there and ready to serve you .Its very fast pace and the owner keeps a full crew on duty 24 hrs every day.Oh and the soft serve ice cream is serve yourself in a cone or cup with sprinkles .I do enjoy the ice cream and the home town atmosphere.you can always find a good conversation and plenty of folks you know .I recommend the 278 rock store

Never use your food stamp card there they will over charge you and wont put it back on your card or fix the problem

Shop here daily. Employees friendly. I get 1-2 cups of ice everyday because I absolutely am hooked on the crushed ice. My only complaint is the fluctuating price of ice. While I agree with charging for the cup used to hold the ice, I dont think charging for frozen water is not really necessary, seriously. I and my family are there EVERY day and spend a lot of .money so I think ice would be a nice gesture especially when Im furnishing the cup. Mrs. Ann doesnt like my being in so often for ice apparently and charges me .more than any other cashier because the price has gone up..... For ice that I put in my cup. The only assistance I received was the cashier taking my money. Of course all of this is petty and I dont mind paying for this service, because they have the ice I like and want so its warranted for me. Would just appreciate a little more courtesy and less fluctuating prices.

The atm did not dispense my money due to being tied into phone line. So if you are getting money out to spend at that store..you will get screwed. I am a very loyal customer who will no longer go to this store. Clerk was very rude and acted like she could care less. Did not want to call the mananager. Acted like it was a big hassle to call him. I spend on average 180.00 a week on gas and about $50 a week on breakfast and drinks. I will let everyone know what a rip off this store is. I can see why you cant keep no help and it is a different person every two weeks.

I was traveling through.. my car was running hot needed​ water.. this place would not let me use the water hose.. so if you in a bind and need help like WATER look elsewhere.. not a friendly place..

They have everything, friendly, clean, FREE WATER if you need it.

Thiis a response to the water hose response. I have never refused anyone water that needed it. I do keep the out side water locked because people were coming up here at night and stealing water from me. We have always helped anyone who ever needed help including water.
