They have a large selection but not good price at all they r WAY WAY to high and they dont have a lot of books that they should but the staff were really polite and nice and super helpful

I was bummed that this place does not open until 10:00. I stopped by for some coffee at 9:40. Totally bummed. But, I did come back later and stroll for a few new books and enjoyed a cup of coffee.

I was looking for a few references containing pictures of a subject and her surroundings for a detailed scene that I was painting on a wall mural. Associates were helpful and we found 3 good books with some. It wás on a Sunday and they were closing at 7. The store hours were different than posted online. They didnt rush me. I was in and out within an hour.

One of my favorite places to go. Joe mugs beats out Starbucks and Dunkin!!!

Ive frequented this location for my whole life, and Ive never had a single bad experience. The place is more than just a bookshop, they sell fun accessories and lots of cool toys and stuffed animals, and the staff are full of true gems. Logan, for example, has been there for over six years and makes an amazing Italian cream soda! The cool staff really elevates this nice chain retailer.

The Cullman Books-a-Million always has a great selection of books, Manga, comics, just about anything you could want. Sadly they are missing some of the older books and Manga that are famous and seem to cater mostly to what is extremely popular currently and what is brand new from famous authors. I wish there was a wider selection of older books but at least this store is still open.

Ive been going here for many years ( love the Joe Muffs coffee shop and the lady who runs it), but the employees in the store are not great. They need to be required to take customer relations training.

I always find a book to buy,lol! Im so glad to have a place like books a million in Cullman! I do wish there were more books on our native American history and artifacts,that would be my only request!

There is hardly any books here. the a-million is a lie. theres like two aisles of books. if youre not looking for something that is recent and popular they probably wont have it.

If you need help finding something they know right where to look. You couldnt ask for more knowledgeable people

They always have a lot of good book suggestions and other random stuff and the staff is always really nice.

Very clean store. Lots of variety. The staff didnt approach me or ask me if I needed help with anything so that was the only down side. We also got coffee at joe mug which was amazing. All in all a very good experience. 😊

The service is always great. They have a diverse selection, and the sales are great. I even joined their membership program to get even better deals. The store is clean and organized, and help is always able to be found. Plus, their baristas are always phenomenal.

Youre going to be paying full price so theres that. The thing really makes this place frustrating is the sales pitching. You can not purchase a single item without getting harassed down about their membership and some bizarre magazine subscription thing. So if you want to pay full price for not an indie bookstore and get harassed at the checkout counter (did I mention about a quarter of the store is merch and they have like 2 literary journals for sale?!) knock yourself out. I did give them 2 stars because well...they do sell books and I love books.

I love book stores! So peaceful! Looking for a certain book on retirement, but couldnt find it.Store was not too busy for the day after Thanksgiving.

Its an okay store...prices are high as per usual for this chain. I wouldnt recommend shopping here if you want to be left alone to shop and not followed by employees. Theft must be an issue here for this location. I felt uncomfortable being constantly watched by an employee. I noticed her doing the same to other customers. I left without making a purchase and its not likely Ill return. A note to employees.....Not all people are thieves, some are just genuinely interested in searching for their next book to get lost in. Invest in security cameras and give your customers some breathing room. Youre running off honest customers who are trying to keep your jobs intact and not buy online. Just an opinion.

Great customer service always. If you ask an associate a question and they dont know the answer, they will look it up and if needed find someone who can answer the question. Great place to shop and they have unique gifts for any occasion. Nice pleasant atmosphere to shop in and anyone is so knowledgeable.

Love this store!!! Its super organized and has a great atmosphere. The store always feels cozy and has something there for everyone. The employees are extremely helpful and easy to talk too. They keep a nice laid back atmosphere without seeming out of order.

Love getting coffees from JoeMuggs! Its my favorite coffee place. Also love the book selections and the coziness of the place. The staff is always smiling and kind. Theyll also joke around with you.

They do not honor their deals at this store. Would not give the penny a page to me because they said their was no printed number on the page. Their website had the exact amount of pages. Corporate said they had many problems from this store. Be careful

Books a million is a great place to sit down, read, drink some coffee or FREE water and relax. My chief complaint is having to sign into a social media account to access the public hot-spot. Unless you buy a discount 💳

Plenty of books and manga to choose from in different genres great staff and good coffee smell from the cafe.
