I have never had a bad experience in hobby lobby until the other day. The GM thought my husband and I were stealing and we clearly were not. We saw the GM and another manager pointing at us and talking and my husband went up to the GM and asked if there was a problem and the GM was hateful to him. So I PAID for the items I had and we walked out of the store and the GM followed us out and called the police. He got our tag number regardless of any proof we were stealing. Obviously, if we were stealing he would have stopped us at the door and called the police to come before we left the store. He was a real --------. I pray for them. The rest of the employees are usually pretty nice and helpful, but because of the GENERAL MANAGER I had a terrible experience.

Always clean and well stocked with lots of wonderful things, albeit a tad on the pricey side. However, its the checkout line that knocks it down to three stars.. I assume the employee that is always posted up watching all the checkout process is a manager intended to expedite should the need arise, Instead of making all the customers stand idly by awaiting your complex algebraic decision as to whether or not another employee (who is,I assume, working) should be called to run a register. Why not stop counting and recounting us poor folks just get on a register and get us out and free of your wicked tyranny. Pretty sure most people can both run a register and be aware of the need to call in reinforcements.i hate waiting in line and watching employees watching us wait. Hopefully I havent wasted to much time with frivolous unnecessary verbiage as to point out the frustration derived from too long standing in a line watching and waiting for that call to be made for something to be done when it could already be done.

Ordered a galvanized letter M. Said it would be delivered within a week. They informed me it would be another two weeks before delivery, without any explanation.

One of the best things about Hobby Lobby is consistency. They run sales constantly that rotate around the store. They are not only a hobby store though. They carry decorations for your man cave, garage, or even your lake house.

Hobby lobby is very cool place to go but theyre Barney Fife security guards follow you around and make you feel very uncomfortable

Nice Hobby Lobby store, about par for the course. I was surprised to see them open Christmas Eve. Especially in Alabama. Guess all things change with time. Im not religious but I found it a little sad those employees were away from their family during the holiday season.

Love the selection and inventory provided. However the loss prevention and floor associates can be very imitating especially if you are a person who enjoys browsing looking for something odd. I almost always have to know what I am grabbing and grab and pay. When I should be able to enjoy the entire shopping experience with out feeling like you are being followed or watched like a criminal.

Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite places to visit! You always come out with more than you went in to purchase, Each section is crammed full of ideas. And their silk flower section is out of this world. You would think they are real! Beautiful for weddings or every other occasion. Give them a try, you will be delighted.

Being a Retail Store Leader myself I found it very rude how the Manager was standing at the door telling guest as we enter at 750pm that we only have about 5 minutes to shop. Then an employee came up to me telling me I only had 5 minutes then an announcement came over the phone. I knew exactly what I needed thankfully I got in and out in 8 minutes. How about offer assistance and be thankful to have a guest rather than make them feel unwelcome comed. As a store Leader in retail I work crazy hours with barely time to shop for Christmas also. I am considering returning my items and not shopping this location anymore. Also locking a door while guest are still in the store is not a good thing, even if the manager was standing at the opposite door rushing people out as an employee was bringing carts into the only door that was unlocked.

I get it now, Hob Lob is the BEST!!! The most beautiful store in Cullman. Staff is super friendly, store is clean and well stocked. Im definitely a fan.

I always love Hobby Lobby. They have a great selection and if you know how to watch their sales, you can get really good prices. I am a person who rarely pays full price for anything, so I know how to watch their sales and use their coupon. When I was planning my daughters wedding a few years ago I had their sales on flowers and wedding stuff memorized as they cycle.

Majority of the employees would surely drown in a rain storm theyve got their noses stuck so high but always has good sales

Oh my. What can I say? Hobby Lobby should offer a place to sleep or nap or even a place to have lunch because my wife and I cannot see everything they have in one day. If you have a hobby they have the specialized tools and supplies you need. Now dont get me wrong they are not a TOOL store but they have some handy things that compliment the items you have to have for your hobby, such as leather crafting for instance, that make the work easier and more enjoyable.

Large section for Christmas decorations and all items for Christmas were 50% off. The store had been rearranged which made it difficult to find other things that were regular carried by store, but not too hard. Big selection of Christmas decorations very good displaying everything.
