This is one of the cutest stores downtown! They always have unique pieces! They are very knowledgeable about their quity products! Glenda is super nice and she was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for to complete my paint project. The products were easy to use and great quality. And it turned out better than I could have expected!

Super cute shop in historic Culpeper area. Features some of Chip and Joannas Magnolia line. Nice rustic farm assessories and decor plus Annie Sloan chalk paint. The shop owner was super nice and helpful. This shop is a must-stop for anyone visiting the area. From throw pillows to metal signs, its packed with cute debit for the farmhouse styled home.

The owner, Linda, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She held a private workshop on both chalk and milk paint for me and a friend and was incredibly accommodating with her time and knowledge. She has a beautiful store, chock-full of goodies by local artisans, including impressive farm tables and light fixtures made by her husband. Linda also sells vintage furniture she paints herself. I highly recommend a visit to this charming store when in the area. We drove three hours (there and back) to make the trip and it was so worth it. Definitely sign up for one of their paint workshops if you can. Cant wait to visit again.

I stop in Poppy & Chalk every time I’m downtown and it’s always a pleasant experience! The owners are so friendly and fun to chat with, and they have a wide selection of chalk paints and specialty DIY supplies. They also have a ton of refinished furniture pieces that look WONDERFUL. Whether you’re looking to purchase a piece that’s already finished, buying supplies for your next project, or just looking for inspiration, Poppy & Chalk is a great stop! I believe they carry a substantial amount of the Magnolia Home line in addition to their own pieces.

This was my third chalk paint class, and my first with Linda. I learned a lot of great new tips from what to use to clean wood to how to paint with chalk paint and the latest products for curing. A great experience and now I feel confident to tackle my new kitchen cabinets! I highly recommend her classes,. She can answer a lot of questions on various products, not just Annie Sloan chalk paint,

Owner/artist is so helpful and ready to share her expertise of painted decor and furniture. This shop carries Magnolia furniture also. Just opened ice cream parlor and stated she will have sugar free flavor starting next month. This is a nice place to visit among the fine selection of Celpeper restaurants and shops.
