I enjoy shopping at this store.. but it has been at least 2 years since I stepped foot into one until I was at home visiting my parents.. as soon as I went into the store, I zoomed right towards the movies. I found two to add to my collection, along with something else..

The store itself i love! For the most part the employees are great except for this one that was working tonight. She was rude as far as rolling her eyes and and had an attitude from the moment I had walked up to the counter. Which is ok with me because I will definitely be going to her supervisor about this and I sure hope that the next time I go in there she will have a better attitude as I didnt do anything to her.

Store has a nice lay out and flow. Everything looked nice and organized. Love the new retro kitchen/home section. Has a nice selection of furniture, food, hygiene and house hold goods. Like the new lay out for the registers. Staff was friendly.Only real draw back for me was the pet section. Not an over abundance of cat things and the clearance section was a bit messy.But over all not a bad place to shop.

Two Saturdays before Christmas and the store is well stocked and organized. Friendly staff and no waiting to check out. Decent selection of items. Its hit or miss on some things if you need something specific which is to be expected in a store that specializes in close outs. 5 out of 7 stars for a perfect score.

Such a shortage of puppy clothes amongst other important items

Kind of like a dollar store and discount department store rolled into one. They dont have a great selection, but what they DO have is priced to sell. Recliners at $299 (most stores sell comparable ones for $4 to 6 hundred. Good place to go for small appliances and furniture.

Always a great selection of items. We have purchased a beautiful sectional sofa and patio furniture at this location. With friendly and knowledgeable staff, we will be sure to return.

Very good service, the staff are always helpful and very nice. Two nice ladies helped me load the 7 foot tall outdoor heater I bought into our SUV. They were patient while I figured a way to make it fit.

Although I was able to purchase one item on my shopping list, at a very reasonable price, I was very disappointed that their Halloween/fall decorations have been replaced with a multitude of Christmas decorations.

They had Fantastic Four Silver Surfer on Blu-ray. They also had the 2015 version of Silver Surfer on Blu-ray. I thought that was really romantic. There was only one copy of each so it was obviously destiny.... whether my boyfriend sees that or not. (Hes probably just bitter because of my feelings for the Silver Surfer.) They also had gifts for my dog and my birds. (Fact: I secretly bought the birds toys and bells for cats.) They had lots of plant supplies too but I ran out of money after my Silver Surfer bonanza .Update: turns out the 2015 movie stars the Fantastics that arent Silver Surfer. And it has a good moral, ladies are too smart for space.

Big Lots is a nice place to shop and find some good bargains. Its pretty much hit or miss with sales but all in all, its a nice store chain.

Some items can be purchased at a reasonable discount and others isnt some of the merchandise can be purchased at Walmart or any dollar store alot cheaper.
