Just bought a new Scag Liberty Z 52 Zero Turn from F & M. David Silverman was great to work with and I found the other staff I interacted with to be customer-oriented as well - and that included Greg who delivered my mower and helped me get going. This was after a complicated and trying exercise to find the right product, but after one mowing of my 1.5+ acres I know I got the right machine. It is powerful and fast, and my first experience with a zero turn - which is amazing. I highly recommend David and K & M Lawn, and my Scag product.

I took a very old wood splitter here, from our guess 40yrs+, with many issues. Some parts were discontinued and it took a lot of work. They spent 3 months and it took just over $1000 parts and labor to repair. When I went to pick it up IT DID NOT START. It took 53 pulls, flooding the engine, and using starting fluid. It was likely a small electrical contact glitch due to being recently exposed to the rain, but the manager and myself decided this was unacceptable. So after a serious but congenial conversation, they decided they would give it some extra TLC and personally deliver it to my farm (30 min away) free of charge. I am super happy with the way it is running, and want to give a shoutout to Dillion for his help working on the machine, Brad for searching out parts, Dawn for keeping me updated during the process, and to Greg for dropping it off today. Looking forward to doing business again soon guys, thanks

I can not believe no one thought of this before. The service that K&M is doing is propane tank pick up, fill and return. It is so easy! And efficient! And the service is above and beyond. I recently went in there to purchase a couple of items and see about getting my lawn mower worked on. I found the staff very friendly, knowledgeable and overall helpful. This is a place if you need items to take care of your yard from cutting it, trimming to digging it up they got it will get it. Also if you need supplies to trim your trees or climb them they have everything you need from safety harnesses, ropes, slings and saws. They carry a variety of name brands that most people know like STIHL, SCAG, YANMAR, HUSQVARNA, KOHLER just to name a few. Yes, I will be a repeat customer in the future because I like the service. Why just 4 stars..... always room for improvement.

On 10/27/20, had taken my zero turn in for an oil check and some routine work. Since it was the end of the season, I garaged it and left it until today. When I tried to mow my lawn, it started smoking heavily almost immediately after turning it on. Apparently they left the drain plug loose and it leaked oil all over the deck and stained my garage flooring. I’m lucky I noticed before my motor locked up.

Ran in for a belt, I was having a bad day, they didnt stock the belt, but pointed me in the direction of someone who might . Thanks

We’ve Used K&M since they first took over Swan’s. We bought our first commercial mower from Ken in 2008 and still have it to this day. Parts and service have been great the whole time. They still have most parts on hand for all of our equipment. Local business, friendly knowledgeable staff, and parts on hand. 5 out of 5 for sure!

I was in the market for a new zero turn. I called around to see who had the best bang for your buck. After doing my homework the Scag has the best around. This is by far the best warranty I found. All others were 3 years or 300 hours. I talked to Buck at 7:30 am on a Wednesday and I told him he sold me and I would be back to buy all my stuff, and I mean all my stuff for the yard.. A week later I did what I said I was gonna do. I couldnt be more happier with my purchase and service from K&M. I will continue to buy from here and get my service done as well.

Bought a Stihl Combi Kit. Service was great. Left with a free full tank of gas!

BEWARE!! K & M does falsely advertise when they advertise winter special maintenance service. They say that it includes free pick-up and delivery, but unless you do all the maintenance that they recommend they will charge you a pick-up and delivery charge. In my case it was $80.00 which they have refused to return.Do not do business with this company as they are not honest.

The team at K&M were friendly, professional and personable. The brush saw I ordered through them arrived early, and the team had it assembled and ready to put it to work when I picked it up! Ill be doing business at K&M from now on.

Cant say enough good things about K%M. Matty, and Buck were really concerned about my problem. Problem wasnt with my tractor, but with a part I bought from TSC. Problem solved. Solis tractor still doing great.

I wish I have anything positive to say about this local business but I don’t. For the prices they charge, their lack of customer service is remarkable. They insisted on servicing the mower which broke after three months (just a belt) and failed to mention it would be two weeks to change a belt. Called to complain and Management couldn’t care less. I recommend taking your business elsewhere which offers customer service and a service department capable of handling their customer load.

Have had work on my mower three times. Work is fine, but service VERY LACKING. Kept in shop for a week without contacting me because the service department had inverted digits of phone number on work order, EVEN THOUGH my phone number is correct in their system. Another occasion, was called and told mower would be delivered the next day. I waited an extra day and called, only to find they had scheduled me for two days after that.UPSOT: DO NOT COUNT ON THEM TO KEEP THEIR WORD about scheduling or communicating with customers

Ken at K&M has always gone above and beyond for me. As an arborist and small business owner, it isnt always easy to break away and drive an hour down the road to pick up a needed piece of equipment. Ken lives near me and has always worked with me and had things hand delivered to my personal residence in Fredericksburg. The store is awesome and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly! Been doing business with them for more than 16 years! Keep up the great work!

Horrible!!! We paid the $750.00 to repair our lawn tractor, only to have the engine blow up in less than 10 days after getting it back. We asked if they would apply a portion of that $750.00 toward a new lawn tractor and they said no! I think a GOOD mechanic would have known that there were engine problems and should have told us not to put money into this tractor. They are a rip off! I will never take anything there again. Very dishonest and very, very slow! It took them nearly four months to repair! They cater to the locals and to lawn and landscape companies. If you are a homeowner and are not from this area, do not go there....you will be disappointed!

This is the WORST customer service I’ve ever delt with. Bought a new mower and a idler pulley went bad. The mower has been in there 10 days and they don’t stock a idler pulley in the spring for a mower they sell!!!!!! I’ll never deal with this place again for anything.....sales I have to say was really good,but that was the end of it

They fixed our generators problem, but when I put it in for service I specifically asked them if they would keep it inside and they said yes, but when I picked it up I discovered that they had kept it outside under a carport and it was filthy and had been exposed to the elements. I wont use them again.

This company accepts my garden equipment for repair, then never reassembles it.
