We’ve been taking our Mini to Import Motorworx for some years. They do excellent work, but what’s really special is the personal service. This makes a real difference as issues can be talked about, problems explained, solutions found. Highly recommend!

I worked with Erin and the assigned mechanic (didnt get his name) to install some new parts for my BMW (coils, plugs, charge pipe, intercooler) and despite the difficulties we faced with missing components, problems with fitment, and even a random electrical outage impacting the area(!!) they both worked very hard to get my car running smoothly. To top it all off they gave me an amazing deal on installation and explained every step of the process.This is a one-of-a-kind auto shop that knows that ins-and-outs of European autos and their quirks. I dont really trust any other shop with my BMWs and Ive been going to these guys for over 8 years now.

During COVID, I’d recently had surgery and IMW was offering to come and pick up my Mini do the repairs/service and return my Mini to me. Taking into a count COVID-19 protocols. I’m never going anywhere else. I miss Michelle at IMW but everyone at IMW has kept the same kindness, professionalism and timelines in performing all services. IMW was very professionally managed and a great experience for my first time. I just got a new preowned vehicle which had some brake issues during its trial period. IMW worked seamlessly with the warranty holder and fixed my problem promptly. My brakes do not squek any longer. Then an improperly installed windshield wiper the next day had to also be addressed. Aaron the shop manager addressed in a drive in visit and just gave and installed new ones. Very nice and helpful. I had wanted to take my old mini there, but did not get a chance to before selling it. Now with my BMW, it will be the only place I take it! Thanks Aaron and thanks IMW!!!

Import Motorworx replaced the clutch on my Mini. I turned to them when the dealership I’d been going to for seven years quoted me a ridiculous price, then berated me for getting other quotes. Best thing that could have happened. Michelle at Motorworx was great to work with — she explained in detail what they’d be doing, was knowledgeable about Minis and treated me like my business mattered. The price was fair, they guarantee their work and my car is running just fine.

Motorworx Replaced my leaky Anti-freeze Reservoir tank. Anti-freeze sprayed all over the bottom of the engine and Motorworx went the extra mile to pressure wash the undercarriage! Very pleased (as always) with the work performed here!

Ive been a customer since 2007 when Roger saw me standing beside my 2005 Mini Convertible and he handed me his card. Miniworx, as it used to be known, does the same quality work as the dealer, using same genuine parts and diagnostic tools. But Import Motorworx does it for a fraction of the cost and with the small business ability of remembering and caring who you and your car are.

Very helpful group. And when they made a mistake (gave me the wrong part for the body shop) they resolved the issue promptly and let me pick up the new one and then later return the incorrect part, so I wouldnt have to make multiple trips. Thanks Michelle and team for all your help - my car is runs smoothly again.

I love coming to Import Motorworx, they take great care of my Mini Countryman. Its easy to schedule an appointment with them, and they always handle all work professionally and in timely manner. The only reason I give them 4 stars is that I find cost for fixing issues slightly overpized. I am aware that the same could be said for every car shop but I wish there was a plan or a discount for loyal customers. I do recommend Import Motorworx!

Great service, very nice, competent and well prepared personnel and technicians, I take my mini cooper S there on a regular basis and I have never been disappointed. I truly recommend this place if you want things done to your car in a proper way. It can be a bit more expensive than any other regular place but its worth it, and you dont have to spend the money twice to fix the same thing.

Michelle, the office manager, is the reason I so highly recommend this place. She has the knowledge and heart of a teacher, and will walk you through why repairs are needed.She also gave me great advice to save $. For my 2009 Mini engine with 100k miles, she said I need to top off my oil every 500mi because the older engines burn through oil. Since Ive followed her instructions, I havent had an issue. They also offer these top-offs for free. What could be better?She will be honest with you about the state of your car, so be prepared for the truth! Cant recommend this shop highly enough.

Always a good experience here. I have a 2010 BMW 335i which I meticulously maintain, and will not take it anywhere else for repairs & maintenance. Michelle and Ray are super friendly and always provide great customer service. Dont bother taking your car to the dealer, bring it here for better service at reasonable rates.

Great service and very reasonably priced. Nice group of guys who are very honest. Had my Mini serviced here a couple of times but one day my Mini Cooper just would not start, (not a battery problem) so I had it towed to MiniWorx in Culvery City, which is now Import MotorWorx. They told me that it was a problem with the high pressure fuel pump and it should be covered under warranty through the dealer and so I then had it towed to the dealer who replaced the high pressure fuel pump under warranty. I would highly recommend Import MotorWorx to any Mini owner looking for a good auto repair shop.

Michelle at Import Motorworx is hands down the go-to place on the west side (perhaps all of LA) for MINI maintenance and repair. She gives you the bottom line, i.e. what you need right now, what you need soon and what you dont need to worry about at all. No up-selling, no nickel-and-diming, no b.s. Am I dreaming? So far, so good. Car drives better than it has in years (after exclusively using MINI dealership repairs) so what does that tell ya?

My friend recommended me MiniWorx after my BMW wouldnt start. I got it towed there first thing in the morning. Dropped it off around 10am. Received an email by noon telling me that I needed to replace my fuel pump and fuel filter. I called them to confirm pricing and they told me they could have it completed the same day! 5 hours later I am picking up my car. I have never had a no nonsense experience with an auto shop before. They told me what needed to be fixed, didnt BS me about additional work, and waited after they were closed because I was running a little late to pick up my car.The service staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the facility is clean, prices are reasonable, and the owner has an adorable dog sleeping in a cute dog bed. I dont know about you... but for me, making a decision to trust my Mini to anyone other than the dealer was really tough. It turns out that once I got past that (irrational) paranoia, it may be the BEST decision I ever made! Really...I have been taking my car to MiniWorx for several happy years now... and, Im a bit embarrassed to admit that it has taken me this long to write a review about their amazing, professional and AFFORDABLE service. I have saved many thousands of dollars having them work on my car INSTEAD OF THE DEALER. They will not sell you something that you do not need. Their service is impeccable. (Remember service? It is a dying art that they keep alive everyday with every customer!)I could go on and on but I wont. I can only conclude by saying this will be a decision you will never regret! I jokingly tell them that they are like having a really good boyfriend... but I mean it. They are always honest and reliable. They still owe me $400 for a car rental at Enterprise from 3 years ago. They took 6 days to get the car done. Avoid at all cost, for MINIs the dealers are better and only slightly more expensive and they give you a car.
