I ran across this company a couple of years ago. I came to this location because it was in California and local. I purchased a hair product that they sold. I was sketchy on the wigs because they were very expensive and I had bad experiences with purchasing hair and wigs from other vendors and people that sold hair and made wigs. I followed this company on Instagram for a year. It was one particular wig that I really liked. A year later I purchased the wig believing that I did not have to have a professional installment for the wig. I was told by the company that I didn’t have to use hair glue. I purchased the wig during the Covid 19 crisis. It cost me around $800 including taxes. I received the wig and asked if they could cut the lace for me. When I got home I didn’t try it on right away but when did the wig was made to use hair glue. I didn’t want to use glue because I was told by many people that have used the hair glue said it takes your hair out. I called the company telling them my issue and could I get a refund. The owner told me that they had strict policies on refund. I brought the wig in showing her my problem with the wig. She told me that I wasn’t use to wearing wigs and was it my first time. I stated no. I was so eager to get a wig that I didn’t want to glue. I end up buying another wig because I wasn’t satisfied with the wig I bought. Both wigs the owner had to sew another comb in to make it fit tighter for my head. I went home and tried both wigs thinking I would be satisfied and I wasn’t both wigs were made to be glued and have a professional installment if you were not savvy with lace front wigs. I felt beat out of my money and a wasted investment on wigs. I was very angry and called the company many times leaving a message to the owner. The assistant that works there suggested that I should have gotten a custom wig. I felt like it was too late I wasted money again on wigs. The owner decided to call me weeks later. By the time I received a message I was too done with the company. I decided to give the wigs to two women who needed a wig and knew how to do the lace front wig installment there selves. I would never advise anyone to purchase a wig from this company if they don’t know how to put on a lace front wig that requires a installment unless they know someone who can do it for them. Since then. I’ve been blessed to get two wigs of my choice that is very convenient for me and doesn’t require a professional installment and requires a lace front. Less expensive and good quality of wigs. You gain some and you loose some. Investing that much money on wigs is ridiculous. So know what your getting into when purchasing a wig from this company. Ask many questions as possible regarding a wig or hair. The wigs I purchased was last year 2020.
After reading the reviews on your page your might not have been the company who scammed alot of women out of their hard earned money, but I see why the scammers chose your logo. The attitude that is displayed in the comment section not to mention ex customers who you personally did business with shows lack customer service and professionalism. We as a communitymust do better if we want better

I was sent synthetic hair after ordering human hair and the order was wrong entirely. No one has responded to my emails on how to return for refund. Look at what I was sent and what I ordered. This company is a scam.
I was looking for a natural clip-in extension to give more volume to my hair. A friend recommended me Magic Hair Company for the quality of their products and their variety. I loved it! I found the clip-in I wanted and they were very attentive to show me all the options of length and also what would look more natural to my hair type. I totally recommend this place! Great service and variety of extensions!
Stopped by on a whim based on the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean, beautifully decorated and enough wigs and hair pieces available for purchase. Janice was very helpful and kind with knowledge to direct me to exactly what I was looking for. Made a delighted yet unexpected purchase. Love this hair and Ill be back for more.

I gave this establishment one star a couple of days ago after issues with not receiving the hair, to waiting for the owner to contact me regarding a refund. After speaking with the owner Janiece (Not sure if I spelled the name correctly), I’m changing my one star to four stars. She was professional, apologetic and responsive. Stuff happens as it did this time. But the way the situation was handled was top notch! My original ‘one star’ review is being replaced by this review. Kudos to Janiece and Magic Hair Company.
I hardly ever write reviews, however I would hate for someone to go through what I went through with this company.I have been a faithful customer of Magic Hair Company, spending thousands of dollars on custom wigs, normally ordering 2 at a time for no less than $1200 ea.Recently I placed an order for a custom unit with the owner. The unit was to be 613 in color with darker roots. I specifically requested that the roots come down only about an half an inch, 3/4 inch at the most. A picture was included to illustrate exactly what I wanted. I was told this would not be an issue and the photo was attached to my invoice.After waiting 7 weeks for my unit, it arrived and was absolutely horrid.Instead of the whole wig having roots, the roots where just in the front. The roots came down approximately 3 inches, which made the unit look cheap and skunky. There was a very crude dye line as well. Meaning, the dark roots were not blended into the blonde. The black basically ended in a straight line across. On top of that, there were different colors. Some rooted sections were black, some were dark brown, some light brown.I contacted the owner and requested my $200 custom color fee be refunded, not even a full refund. I spent over $1500 on this unit and did not think it was too much to ask since the color was horrible. After waiting almost 2 months, I did not have time to send it back, as I had a business gala I needed to attend that weekend, and planned on wearing my unit.I was asked to send over photos to show what I received and call back. When I called back, my calls were ingnored as stated by other reviewers. I was told previously by one of the employees that they have caller Id so I’m certain they were ignoring my call. I called for about an hour. The owner has yet to return my call.As it stands now, I am having my bank deal with this, however I am totally disgusted and truly saddened by my treatment. Once they get your money, they feel they have the right to treat you like garbage. I will be looking elsewhere for my needs in the future. I also posted photos of what I requested vs. what I received.UPDATE AFTER OWNER RESPONSE:I’m unsure of what types of silly games are being played here, but the response for this owner is a complete lie.I was not sent any photos of the completed color job. I never “ loved” anything as quoted by the owner. I would never approve such shoddy work, especially with the amount of money I am investing.As for this being what I asked for, absolutely not. To alleviate any confusion, I sent a photo specifically referencing how I specifically wanted the roots. What I received looks nothing like what I requested.To further prove my point, I will be posting additional photos of email correspondence, as well as additional photos from my call log where my calls were ignored.I find it abhorrent the owner takes the time to respond to reviews with untruths on a public platform, but fails to contact me directly. How sad.
Just ok, not a big selection. I found the wigs of average quality and very expensive. Additionally, my wig is very dense at the hairline though it was supposed to be pre plucked. As a new wig wearer, pre plucked appealed to me, but it requires a lot of coaxing to be a natural hairline. The owner gave me a discount on my unit and they colored two areas for me without an upcharge, that was nice.

INWHICH I PAID EXPEDITED SHIPPING COST. THEY GAVE THE A TRACKING # NON EXISTENT. MY HAIR DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL A WEEK LATER WHEN I WAS ALREADY ON MY VACATION. CALL LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGE TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER ABOUT MY ISSUE. THE MANAGER CEO ECT ASSURE ME SHE WOULD REFUND MY $$ UPON RETURNING THE HAIR AND ILL GET THE FULLY PURCHASE INCLUDING SHIPPING COST. WHEN THE ARRIVE I GOT A CALL FROM MAGIC HAIR COMPANY I WILL RECEIVE MY REFUND A WK LATER WITHOUT THE RETURN SHIPPING COST. I finally walked in. Ive been passing Magic hair company from work everyday and I finally had a chance to stop in.I bought a full lace custom wig.I received my wig yesterday and im absolutely in love with it.Its perfect and exact.Thank you MHC ! :) :)

FRAUD!! BUYER BEWARE! I made a online purchase with this company Magic Hair Company on 10-01-15. Prior to placing the order I called the company to see if it was possible to pick up my order because I was leaving out of town the next morning, the person who answered the phone said yes just note the online order that you will be picking up (fyi there was nowhere to indicate such online) and also to arrive by 7pm. I also purchase two Groupons that I had planed to use when picking up my order and also had received confirmation that this would be ok. During the checkout I noticed the prices were substantially less online then what I was quoted by phone. I called to confirm pricing and was told pricing is the same online as in the store (YES YOU HAVE COUNTED RIGHT I TALKED TO THE COMPANY 3 TIMES BEFORE PLACING MY ORDER).... I get off of work at 6:30pm and rush to the store location only to find out THERE WAS NO HAIR IN THE STORE!! not just the type I ordered BUT NO HAIR AT ALL other than the 2 or 3 closures inside a glass case and a set of clip-ins hanging on the wall....the young lady there said that they had been robed a few weeks back. Needless to say I was shocked because I called before placing a order 3xs and NEVER was informed that they had no hair in the store for me to pick up!! the young lady said that new hair was coming within the next couple of days and If I waited the online price would be honored because of course I had my copy of my receipt showing what I paid. well Because I didnt feel comfortable about paying for something that I could not have I asked to be refunded, they lady said I should call the next day because only the owner processed refunds. I called the next day got the run around....On Monday 10-5- 15 I called to get a update on my return spoke to a lady who announced her self to be the OWNER of the company. During the confirmation I was told that the store would not have any hair until the end of OCTOBER was also told that my order was canceled on Thursday night when I left the store but if I wanted to wait for new hair she would keep my payment and I could come pick up the hair at the end of the month but will not be able to use my groupon because it would not be considered a in store purchase WTH!! at this point Im over it I ask the owner when was I going to be refunded she said she was not going to refund me until Friday of next week I paid on 10-1-15 for a pick up (get there nothing available for me to pick up) and your telling me that I have to wait till 10-16-15 to be refunded!!! Frustrated I say well Im going to have my bank call you and you can provide them the authorization so that they can release my funds immediately she said ok.....I call my bank rt away after speaking with her and tell them what was going on, the bank representative call her on three way and after the rep announces her self and ask if this was the owner the owner replies how come it doesnt say the name of the bank on my caller ID and hangs up...........the rep was speechless said she had never experienced that calling a company. the bank rep tried to call back twice and got no answer I tried knowing that I just spoke with her not even 20 minutes ago and she picked up only to hang up again. I raced to her store because know Im beyond frustrated and more so pissed. get to her store of course she dont know its me she buzz me in and greets me as if I was a happy shopper. as soon as she speaks I recognized her voice and as humble as I could i replied your the lady that just hung up on the bank and refused to take any of my calls with a dumb look on her face and says she dont know what Im talking about cause she just arrived.....I asked her if she was the owner she said no and that her name was MELISSA she claimed the owner had just left I asked her to call her and she said she can only text we go back in forth with her denying to be the owner... I googled the owner of the company and guess who pic pops up Janice Russel aka MELISSA this mental case still denied it to be her SMH! STILL NO REFUND!!
The people are very nice but the hair I spent over $400 for tangles and mats up like I paid $4 for it.
I have a new line of wigs and that one review is so horrible .. I would never order from here. You guys should really work on business if you want to keep it.. just saying. Smh.
They have lost their mind with the prices of their wigs..For the quality of the hair you need to come down a notch on the price 🤷💆
