Food was yummy, service was great except for the hostess that gave my friend the eye roll stare down. Sorry but not acceptable. Business is though and Im all for supporting my local restaurant but if a customer asks for something just accommodate them with a smile. Regardless her manager stepped in and provided us with the necessary accommodations.
I only had a mocha here, but it tasted fantastic. They have a unique variety of plant milks. I tried the mocha with Miracle Mylk. They only offer one size. I was hoping for a large size, but I guess the smaller size ensures great flavor.Im willing to go back and try more of what they have in their menu.
Cool little coffee spot with sort of a bike theme. I only had a cappuccino, but they have other items, both drinks and some food. They have a few bike accessories, but not sure if that was it on the bike goods.
Im a grande quad shot girl at Starbucks..I consider their espresso to be very smooth tasting.. I use Starbucks as my gage as I experience different coffee shops. With each new place I visit, I start off with no add shots just to see how strong their espresso will be. Super Domestics coffee was very strong, and on the bitter side. Careful if youre a caffeine addict like me any add shots might give you the jitters. Their (Oatmilk Latte) fulfilled my desire all day. Its not what my taste buds enjoy, but it worked out well with a very tasty cinnamon roll from their establishment. They do have a nice assortment of pastries to choose from.Very small inside but filled with interesting things to buy, like bike accessories, coffee mugs and tumblers and other unique items. The decor is creative. Cute little plants decorate the walls. No inside seating, the building is not big enough for that, but theres a few tables and chairs on the side of the building. Theres also a wooden bench and a few wooden chairs out front. The baristas were nice and the drinks were served promptly. Its a unique experience.
Great quality restaurant at Koreatown. Fast service, amazing food, would recommend coming again next time!
Came here by accident. I’m very happy about it and will come back on purpose. The Allez Allez was great so was my decaf coffee. I had to start drinking decaf because when I drink caffeine I start biting my nails and trying to write a book.
Cool spot to grab coffee or a breakfast item. They have outdoor seating which is a plus during this time. I got a cold brew which is really good and has a bold flavor. They were out of decaf coffee which is kind of a bummer because my wife only drinks decaf. So I ended up getting her a Iced latte with almond milk. This is definitely a spot Ill have to check out again. Their breakfast burrito is amazing and they have a green creamy cilantro sauce that goes with it.
I stopped in here completely influenced by a foodie account I follow and Im glad I did. Had a regular cheese slice and a margherita slice and both were delicious!
If I could give them more stars I would. The coffee, pastries and staff are all amazing. I wish they had more plant based options on their menu but that in no way is a strike against them. Do yourself a favor and stop by each time you are in the area and have a craving for caffeine.
Delicious coffee, line can be long on the weekend. Their packed roasted beans are awesome too.
My friend sent me their coffee beens, Brazil and Ethiopia coffee bean. They shipped them so quickly in a perfect box. It was one of the best coffee been that I’ve ever tested for espresso coffee.
Great little spot with a shockingly large variety of delightful options and the community contribution latte menu is an amazing thing also the vegan milk list is greatly appreciated I totally recommend
The New Orleans Cold Brew might be the best coffee that I have ever had! The burritos and cold pressed juice are also delicious but make sure you try the above mentioned cold brew.
No need to fact-check me on this because Im 100% right, but breakfast food is the greatest food.Covid safetyIm kind of stickler with this topic, but Super Domestic does a great job with safety. The line has markers to encourage social distancing, hand sanitizer by the coffee station, and staff all wear masks. No issues here.FoodI got the Rico Suave breakfast burrito and a matcha iced tea (see picture). What a treat. A great way to start a weekend after a long work week. The burrito is just salty enough and substantial enough to make you full. You get a nice contrast in textures between the eggs, soft hash browns, and crispy bacon. The sauces that come with the burrito dont disappoint; theyre fresh and add a good flavor. The matcha iced tea is nice and refreshing, not to earthy. These items were recommended by the barista and Im glad I went with them.PricePrice was very fair. Its about what youd expect.AtmosphereThe bike accessories, clothes, water bottles are cool. Good things to look at while youre in line. The place is compact and theres seating outside for eating or waiting.StaffKnowledgeable and easygoing. I trusted the food and drink recommendations.Wait timeMy tea took maybe 5-7 minutes and the burrito took 20-25. Not really an issue for me, but good to know if youre in a rush. You can tell that the burrito is fresh, which is why it takes some time. Id say its worth the wait.Recommend?Yes
The coffee and food was really great. We got the avocado toast(HUGE) and breakfast burrito(decent). Definitely expect to wait a while if you get a latte.
The vanilla bourbon latte is amazing. I know it’s the most popular, but it earned its title.
Consistently good coffee, with consistently good service. I go there weekly. Pastries are great - never lacking in texture - and the Rico Suave is excellent (and a hefty size).
Delicious coffee with unique flavor shots. I had an oat milk latte with their house-made vanilla bourbon syrup and it was a great combination of flavors (not too sweet). Check it out if you’re in the area and be sure to visit Plant Mama next door!
Great customer service and insanely good coffee!
Favorite coffee shop in Culver City. Frequent this place a lot. Great coffee and surprisingly good baked goods. Grab your favorite drink and then head up the street to explore the rest of downtown Culver City!
First time here, brought my husband to urgent care which is right across the street from them. Horrible drink couldnt take a second sip. I ordered the Chai tea Latte iced its so strong spicy horrible. Service I felt uncomfortable with their cashier, for some reason I felt I was being judge by my appearance. Never trying this place again.
GREAT coffee! Lovely staff. Highly recommend!
I have been here quite a few times now and really love this place. They take pride in their product and truly make one of the best tasting iced lattes around. Kelly + team are wonderful and will always do what it takes to ensure you are happy. Love this place and always look forward to coming back._B
Moved into the neighborhood a few months ago and decided to try some local coffee shops. Super Domestic Coffee was my first stop. When I arrived there was no one at the cafe, I browsed before making my way to the counter. I read their menu and just didn’t know what to order, so many drinks looked good. Seeing how I was indecisive I would have hoped the barista would have said something like “hi welcome to Super Domestic Coffee, have you been here before?” “Did you have some questions about our menu options?” Instead she just stared awkwardly, I finally decided to order the chai latte. I was gave her my card she then asked me what button she should push for a tip, it started off at 20%...awkward to say “no tip” I had to choice but to say 20%...once I got my drink and paid an extra 20% for zero service...two sips later I realized how spicy my drink was, I mean it hurt to swallow it. I’m Mexican so I’m used to hot spicy food but this drink was just strong. I let my boyfriend try it because he thought I was exaggerating, he’s a former barista himself and has made hundreds of chai lattes himself. He agreed that the drink was too strong, I didn’t finish it and was annoyed I had to spend $6 on a drink that I didn’t even finish. I doubt I’ll give this place another try, their decor is pretty but is lacking basic customer service. I really wanted to like this place since I want to support smaller businesses in the neighborhood but also being put on the spot to tip also just didn’t sit well with me.
Greatest Avocado Toast. With lots of Avocado, cherry tomatoes and watermelon radish.
Small shop. The door is right next to the register and people have to get out of the way each time a new person comes in. Then they have to squeeze by everyone to get to the back of the line. The barista over steamed the milk making my drink super hot. They sell bike accessories like Linus baskets, Brooks bike seats, Thousand helmets (theft proof guarantee). Espresso is not good in my opinion. Would not suggest people to visit.
I really wanted to like this place! I was looking to find a new hip coffee spot and looks wise, this place is it. Sadly I was super underwhelmed:( as an ex barista, I can’t express my disappointment for that vanilla bourbon latte enough... I basically paid $8(including tip) for a cup of oat milk and half a shot. I’m sure everything else is great, but as first impressions go, I will not be returning here:( Giving 1 star because even the baristas turned his face to talk to the next barista after I had asked for recommendations:/ I’ll stick to Blue Bottle when I’m not home making my own coffee.
Charming new addition to the local coffee shops in the Culver City neighborhood. The menu is simple and easy to follow, with the goal of customizing exactly to your liking. They also have oat milk (made in-house) and almond milk as dairy substitutes. Besides the coffee x cyclery aspect, they also feature the occasional food truck parked beside their establishment. Most recent one served breakfast and crepes.15% discount for Sony employees is a cool plus
I love this place for their retail items for sale as you are waiting for your perfect hot chocolate or coffee drink. They have beautiful blankets made in TJ by a woman that has soft fibers and cute little plants 😍I love their t-shirts with their Culver City logo👕 ❤ 💕 support this local place! Molly the batista was so nice! Plus they are opening a plant store next store soon! Love 💘 😻 💜 💛 💚 🧡 💘 😻 💜
Great local coffee shop with excellent beans and an incredibly delicious cold brew coffee. Service is always fantastic and highly recommend!!
I frequent Super Domestic. The pastries are great and the coffee is good, but I had a pretty unsatisfactory experience there my last visit. I ordered a chai latte and received a luke warm, hardly frothed beverage. I know, maybe this isnt really a big deal, but having paid almost $6, I feel that my drink should have at least been hot.
Their coffee is good!
Coffee is okay but it is local and never too busy. Support local.
Iced coffees are incredible!
Good coffee with a super fun vibe. Dont be deceived by the run-down facade outside! They roast their beans in-house, so its fun to have that going in the background. Limited seating, but definitely worth a try.
Love super.domestic coffee, staff, and treats.
Incredible place! Tasty chaggaccino coffee and fantastic oatmeal and chocolate cookies! Highly highly recommend!!! Definitely coming back
Great local spot. Our order came out quickly & was delicious!
Great local coffee shop. Always friendly with great coffee
Their chagaccino with espresso shots and oat milk is great
The coffee is good and the barista is always kind. My issue is the lack of consistency of how food is prepared. Every time I order a Call Your Mother, it is a roll of the dice. Just today I ordered a Call Your Mother and what I got was not only WITHOUT the tomato (and I asked for both cucumber and tomato) but also had a lazy FIVE pieces of cucumber on ONE slice, nothing on the other slice. I have also gotten one that had one just THICK piece of tomato with a couple THICK pieces of cucumber...The first time I ordered this it came out great thin sliced tomato with thin sliced cucumber that covers both pieces. Can you PLEASE work on the consistency - it is infuriating to see how lazy the assembly is sometimes...the order does not even require cooking. I do not know why I keep ordering this, too risky. If it was not for baristas this would be lower. Thank you for the coffee though!
Excellent coffee, friendly service, cute location. Highly recommended.
Love their coffee. Their Macha lattes, chagaccinos, and cappuccinos are so good as are their veggie savory pastry. I haven’t seen it in a while maybe it’s sold out every time I go. Hate the payment system - I know during this time they don’t want anyone touching their payment screen but it’s so awkward when they ask if you’d like to leave a tip. I leave a tip AFTER the service depending on how it was wherever I go. Hate when businesses ask for it up front especially when they charge up to $7 for a cup of coffee. I feel like I’m being forced to leave a tip and then feel horrid if I say no upfront but I always leave a couple of dollars in the jar if I had great service. The baristas are a little inconsistent.
Great coffee, great pastries, and great breakfast burritos. This has become one of my few weekend go-to spots. Not much space for seating, so great for a grab and go, especially if you live in the neighborhood. Lots of nice cycling gear, but since I am not a cyclist, I cant really comment on that. Either way, highly recommend swinging through.
The coffee is great and if it’s not the way you like it, the super nice Baristas will help! The food is excellent. I highly recommend the “Call Your Grandma” which was delicious, filling, and also made me remember to call my grandma! Cute shop, Great People, Tasty coffee/food, what more could you ask for?I’m only bummed over the fact that I’m here for 2 weeks for work. If I lived here, I would come all the time. Y’all set the bar high!
Might be the best coffee shop in Culver City, though there is a small amount of variation between Baristas. Payment system is ugly, in that they verbally ask if you will leave them a tip...
Excellent
I like this place, but it can be a bit inconsistent with the espresso. Tasia pulls a really nice shot! They are very nice, though. The place itself is very small, just maybe 4 seats at the bar. They have some bike-related merch and sell some of their beans. The north facing window can get pretty hot in the afternoon, but great for a quick stop.
Favorite coffee shop!!!! Great pastries and coffee
Friendly staff, delicious coffee
Love this new(ish) neighborhood staple! its clear there was a lot of care and attention to detail put into this spot. Their coffee is amazing and their spicy chai tea is a must try. Great place to grab-n-go or sit-n-sip.
I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Super Domestic Coffee on our interview date.Unlike every other pocket in Los Angeles, Culver City is not immune to the having a Starbucks or Coffee Bean Tea & Leaf-s in every nook and cranny in the city. However, when you’re out an about and find yourself a hole in the wall coffeeshop you can’t help but want to make sure that you do your best to lend support and spread the word. Super Domestic Coffee on the coveted Culver Boulevard is perfectly placed for patrons who regularly visit the Downtown Culver City area looking to have a little more quiet than that of the ever crowded strip of restaurants. What’s even better than a semi-secluded coffeeshop? A coffeeshop that offers bike lovers the finest accessories to make sure that they have no excuse to not be able to take a coffee to-go. Bike bags, cup holders, titanium mugs, and more are available for purchase.Looking for something quick without needing to sit down and order a whole meal? A scrumptious selection of baked goods from Mr. Holmes Bakehouse from elote danishes and churro croissants to classic donuts and a mouthwatering pastry simply labeled “Just Try It” give you the hardest decision you could possibly make (at the moment in time of course). Pair it with one of their classic espressos, local coffees, or matcha teas and you will without a doubt be able to find yourself something to snack on before going off on your merry way.
They have great coffee and great bagel sandwiches, but the service is very fast.
Delicious morning drinks and baked goods with a cycling touch for those who love that (me!)Note to the vendor, dont wait for it to become law to do away with straws. You should have sippy lids for all drinks! 😎✌️🌎
Great coffee and oatmilk late!
Good coffee, small cool shop!
Nice little place. And it IS little. Good for coffee to go but seating is mostly outside and only a few feet from heavy traffic on Culver blvd
Rock solid coffee and croissants. Besides the usual, they have a Reuben (pastrami) croissant which is 5/5. No seating except for some benches outside.
Big fan of their hot matcha beverages. They have a large selection of single origin varieties. Their baristas are kind and skilled.
Great coffee and amazing crossiants!
Nice little shop on the corner of culver and Madison. Coffee is fresh- barista even offered to brew more if my cup wasn’t up to standards. I sampled a cup of the Congo which I normally wouldn’t as I don’t prefer berry notes in my coffee but it was so smooth and fresh that it worked out well. I also had a chocolate mousse doughnut which was tasty. They do sell some quality nice-looking cycle gear and accessories like helmets and gloves from thousand. Had a chanceto chat with the owner, Brandon, who was nice and explained where the concept for the store came from (he used to sell bicycles as well).
Friendly staff, good cookies, excellent coffee, CBD teas. Cant wait up go back.
Google asked me how was my experience. It was great, excellent quality
Worst service I experienced in this city. The barista was so dellusionally snobbish he didnt feel any need for being polite, welcoming us or saying goodbye. He didnt smile at all. When I asked about one coffee he said its pour over. I asked if it has milk, he gave me the most humiliating sight he could and replied its pour over. When I grabbed my cup and started adding sugar my 2year old occasionally poured over herself a cup of hot coffee. Barista only expressed his displeasure with some horsy sound. None of baristas neither asked if the baby is ok after hot drink all over her tee nor proposed to add coffee to the cup I didnt even start to drink. When I said that we are sorry he gave me silence treatment. When I left they didnt say goodbye. Coffee was ok, nothing special. This kind of service creates real negative image for hipster community, actually you know what? Coffee was bad, cause I didnt enjoy a minute.
Yummy hipster coffee without the attitude. Habit-forming!
Amazing coffee! Plenty of options from Latte to Americano to Cappuccino to Matcha... All made to perfection. Be sure to try the Kombucha, Vanilla Latte, and Cappuccino. The pastries are high quality and from a couple local bake shops, including The Larder. The baristas and POS people are nice and incredibly warm, creating a welcoming environment. As one coming from a family that includes a couple food critics and chefs, this is easily one of the next up and coming coffee shops on the Westside. Blue Bottle, look out!
Love small independent shops! Local ppl behind & in front of the counter..SHOP SMALL!!
Cool spot with great coffee and pastries.
Great pastries, gluten free options and locally grown coffee. Welcome to the hood!
Good coffees. Very friendly
Tasty coffee and baked goods.
Perfect job, Brandon n Kelly.
Loved it. Coffee was on point!
Really good coffee here
