I shop at kays for the fact that they are a steady chain. I like the catalog of steady pieces that are priced and maintained by them. Maybe its because I have no clue when it comes to gems and jewelry. But I also shop at xiv karat for designer rings that require 2 months in lead time because thats the only place you can get them.Miss Erika at this Kays in culver city provides wonderful service. I come all the way from west covina kays just to deal with miss Erika. I feel really taken care of. I believe she really cares about how I feel and how the recipient of my gifts feel. It isnt the biggest kays store, but their service is really commendable and I felt compelled to write this review. Thank you so much!!

Called to ask a question about returning jewelry.. I did t catch her name,but she sounded older and very condescending.. I would rather drive 5 miles farther to the next lay jeweler store..than patronize a store with rude condescending staff!! Leaves a bad taste in your mouth

Extremely good customer service here. The reviews may be inconsistent but my experience today was one of the best jewelry purchasing experiences Ive had. I was helped by the manager Erika who was not only knowledgeable but very friendly and attentative to my needs and my budget. This was one of the best jewelry purchasing experiences Ive had and I will return. I encourage anyone try this local jewelry store in the mall as you wont be disappointed.

Erika and her team treat me like family.Everyone in the Culver City store is knowledgeable and friendly.There is no other jeweler I would to have my jewelry checked and repaired.I also love to selection of the new jewelry.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! STAY AWAY! This company actually rewards their employees for disrespecting their customers! My fiancée and I came here looking for our Wedding Rings and were introduced to a mid to late 30s woman named EMILY. If you see her, WALK OUT IMMEDIATELY BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! We eventually walked out as we did not want to get our wedding rings from such a classless, inconsiderate employee and it was definitely not the atmosphere any woman wants when planning a wedding. We came back a couple of days later when Emily was not there to complain to Erika, the manager. She immediately apologized for Emilys UNPROFESSIONAL behavior and conduct and tried to assist us in still making a purchase insisting Emily no longer had to be a part of the equation... However, to our shock, as we were in the middle of being rung up, THEN Erika informs us that Emily would STILL be getting half commission because that is the policy. What a joke! Unless youd like to support a company that is going to PAY unprofessional employees with COMPLAINTS and then hustle you until the last minute just to take your money, then this is your spot. For people who dont like to be ripped off or disrespected, go to a different jeweler, a different location, or at least walk out if Emily starts to help you or youll be stuck with whatever horrible treatment she gives you and pay for it, adding insult to injury.

My fiancee and I went to Kay Jewelers to purchase a wedding ring for her. While we did find a ring, the sales associate was absolutely terrible. Instead of guiding my finance through the array or rings, the associate just tossed ring after ring on the counter with no concern for our price point or aesthetics. At no point did the sales associate even make eye contact with either of us. It was a terrible experience and I encourage everyone to avoid this store.

Ive shopped at KAYs for years and will continue doing so. However, this location has by far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. The staff lacks professionalism, and often gets confrontational even when the error is on their part. When you try to correct them and remind them that you are a loyal customer they become highly defensive. Until they get training or change the staff completely, I strongly recommend patronizing another location.

Kay were very helpful and professional, we travelled from Australia and purchased engagement ring, wedding bands at a fraction of price youd pay here. GIA certificates and very happy with our bling!Nick served us - he was great!

I recieved a beautiful set of earrings for my birthday from a kay on line order, but the earring stones did not match, I went from Pasadena all the way to Carson to find them in the store to exchange, sadly those didnt match neither. But Laura store manager was the Best! Ordered new earrings and she made sure i was getting what i wanted and made sure that i was happy. Im extremely happy with the results and customer service. Thank you Laura
