If you’re familiar with Daiso, you’ll like this place. Everything is very cheap and decent quality, too. However, this particular Daiso is a bit smaller and you can tell it’s lacking some stuff that you would expect Daiso to have usually. The interior also is a bit dark and overall the shopping experience was a bit dull.Overall, I think there are definitely better Daiso stores elsewhere.

Who doesnt like Daiso? They have a little bit of everything, something for everyone at reasonable prices. I like some of their kitchen storage, beauty utensils, most of their crafting and stationery, and Japanese snacks and drinks. This particular one was in the middle of re-stocking and some shelves were empty, but its a fun store with so many cute and practical goodies all at $1.50 unless marked otherwise. I would love to have a big Daiso closer to us, Id be there every day!

An excellent Dollar store from Japan. All items cost 100 Yen in Japan (roughly less than $1), and with shipping to US, all items in Daiso costs $1.50 if unmarked with other amounts.I find the items here have better quality and value than items found in Dollar Tree or Dollar General, but you are also paying a 50% premium. I am docking one star because of the clientele, but if you have a chance to visit Japan, definitely add Daiso to your shopping list.

Daiso always has the best prices on quality items. I bought two sets of gloves, two pairs of elbow/ankle warmers and two ceramic cat bowls for less than $10!!! Plus, I just love perusing the aisles and merchandise. Even with COVID, this is one of the few places I visit on a lark.

Japanese dollar store ($1.50 default price) that has lots of cute and useful items. More and more items popping up like in my picture that are much more than $1.50 (earthen pots) but still mostly useful. As I learn how to adult, Im finding that the items available are mostly just cutesy and less practical, and not very durable. I guess its as they say - you get what you pay for! Still holds a special place in my heart :)Bags cost 20¢ so BYO to buy a lot!

This is a medium-sized Daiso store with pretty much the full variety of items you would expect at a dollar store, but with the focus on cheap and cheerful Japanese items. I find that value for money can be hit or miss, as is the rule with such variety stores, but its worth looking in for things you wont see elsewhere.

If you would like to get something cheap, this place is good. It doesnt require multiple purchases per item like Dollar City. You can purchase just one. It may not carry the same items all the time, the stocks may change by time. If you come back to buy the item you purchased before, the stock is not guaranteed.

Lots of hard-to-find items here at very low prices. It’s basically a dollar-type store, but with more (and more specialized) merchandise.Unfortunately, they’re out of the one item I came here for, and don’t know when/if they will have it again. ☹️They have ALWAYS carried this item. I can never leave this store without spending tons of money, even though it is a dollar store. There are a few useful things, but I seem to gravitate towards the most useless items possible. I often buy candy from here and it seems fine despite warnings about buying food and candy from dollar stores. They have useful and affordable school supplies. I would avoid the ceramics as there are always warnings that these contain lead. If you air-dry your clothes or if you are looking for storage/cleaning supplies there is a nice selection. The workers are usually pretty friendly and if you buy breakable items they have paper available for you to wrap the items.

Inexpensive household items. Its a lot of fun to shop here. But, beware ... just because most things are only a $1.50, its still very easy to rack up a bill of $80. My biggest regret is that because all things are made in Asia, they also contain lots of toxic materials. Warnings are posted all over the store! I dont understand how they can get away with this. Why isnt our U.S. import police (our government) protecting us from all these toxic goods coming into the U.S. With Cancer rates so high ... I should really give this chain no stars. Yet, its fun to shop here!

Disclaimer: I am obsessed with Daiso. Cute Japanese products at ridiculously reasonable prices? As a shopoholic that cant resist a good deal, I am in heaven whenever walk through the doors. They have a vast range of items including but not limited to stationery, cleaning supplies, knick-knacks, art materials, and even cooking accessories. If you want a random item, most likely you will find some form of it here. Ive bought everything from hot-pot utensils to a rainbow outfit for one of my dogs. Though its a dollar store, you will probably walk out spending much more since all the small items tend to add up.I used to purchase dishes and cups at this location but stopped after seeing a lead warning poster pasted on the door periodically over the past few years. I also try to avoid buying the perishable food & snacks here (or at any dollar store for that matter) since Im not sure about the turnover and freshness. Id rather buy those items at a grocery market that I trust a little bit more. Id also be wary of the make-up here since the quality or additives could be questionable. Still, if you are careful you can score some great deals here! Its the perfect place for a bargain shopper.

For $1.50 youll find something that you just can not live without (and probably kick yourself afterwards for having bought it)

The quality of Daiso products is doubtful. I bought a pack of ball pens here. Two were black ink, two blue. Only the blue ink pen could work and they were kinda like falling apart when I used them to write. I dont know why Daiso cant do quality control. For dollar stores, I prefer Dollar Tree way more than Daiso.

Today i go in there and got some pens and i was jamming to the music tapping the pens together ofc the plastic is still in place. And some worker goes up to me and says please dont open any packages. Ofc i know that ive been there so many times. I am offended. You guys just lost a customer in this store. Tell your workers to be more observant especially that guy. Shouldve gotten your name! Walked out without buying the pens and now here at another daiso store.
