What an awesome place! Stopped in and talked with the owner John, they have everything, vintage action figures, new comics, back issues, funko pop‘s, T-shirts, manga, anime and so much more. Check out my photos they mean everything. Very reasonably priced stuff. Definitely worth a drive

I went here on a whim because i had recently picked up comic collecting again. This store is great super friendly answered all questions for me. If he does not have something he goes out of his way to help you get it. My buddy had his daughter with him and as any child she was curious he was very friendly to her and did not get upset when she would pick something up and look unlike other shops who would have a fit. I recommend this shop to any one

One of the best Comic Book and Collectible shops in the area. Small but well organized. They have plenty of comics, graphic novels, etc as you would expect but they have some nice unique stuff as well such as figures, statues, anime collectibles, even animation cels I have seen here on occasion.They had a promotional poster artwork hanging in the window that I asked if I could have and they were kind enough to give it to me. They never have a problem opening comics and letting you do a flip through before deciding to purchase.Great shop, environment, and owner.

First time visitor, arrived approximately 45 minutes after opening hour on a Thursday. Waited for 20 minutes or so as others who had arrived before me slowly gave up and drove away.Maybe the next time Im in Ohio...

Hands down the best comic book store in the Akron area. Not only do they have a wonderful selection, John the owner always has a great suggestion on what to read if you think you have read everything! He is fair in price when it comes to buying books from you. Just dont expect to make alot of money if you are walking in with 400 comics from the 90s( think realistically). Also if you see his stand at a con he will hook you up with a great deal if you have been hunting for something for awhile!

Always a great place to stop in and get comics. The owner is always nice cheerful and willing to help with whatever you need. Whether it is helping parents and grandparents grab comics for someone at home to helping order in books missing in your collection. Out of all the comic shops Ive ever been in this is by far the best and John makes that difference.

This place is awesome. I just got back into comics and I went to Collectors Palace in Streetsboro last week, so I decided to come here to check this shop out. They have a lot more graphic novels and TPBs here. The owner let us silently browse for a long time and then he asked if we needed any help. I told him what I was interested in and he showed me 4 or 5 different titles that he thought would fit the bill. He was extremely polite and informative. Ive always been intimidated by going into comic shops because sometimes the owners treat you differently based on your tastes. Its not like that here. He was happily showing my fiancée a bunch of different manga titles right after he showed me a bunch of dark horror comics. It was such a well rounded experience.He gave me a huge stack of free comics to check out because I mentioned I was just coming back to the world of comics. I couldnt thank him enough. I came here expecting to maybe find a single new book, but left with dozens as well as a new favorite spot. Thank you SO much! I will be back as often as possible.

Hands down best comic shop around. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will answer any and all questions you have about comics. This Shop has everything. Has a bunch of bins at the front of the shop for 25 cents to a dollar that has some serious gems. Like seriously not junk stuff. Ive seen peoples tables at comicons must have comics that look like Johns dollar bin box. Seriously. You wont find better and fair prices then JC comics and cards. The shop has weekly new comics at the back and previous new issues on the right all nicely neat and organized. At the center of the store is the holy grail. The collection of back issues. A constantly updated, well maintained, alphabetically organized, bagged and boarded, gargantuan collection of back issues. But it doesnt stop there folks. If you thought that was all this shop has you were wrong. Located on the right side of the shop on a do not touch ask for manager assistance if interested shelf is another collection of hard to find, first apperance, key, collection of comics. Best.comic. book. shopping. experience.

Wouldnt it be great if you drove almost a half an hour to give business to what you thought was a reputable store only to find them closed 25 minutes early. On a Saturday too! Ive been here several times before and things have always been nice, but this is definitely a bad mark in my book. This was very upsetting and has me really rethinking ever making that trek again.

If you buy comics, you should be buying em here. Bought my first comic book here 12 years ago! Even though the stock of Japanese books isnt very large, JC (?) always listens to my suggestions for what Id like to see on the shelves. Barnes & Noble is for squares; let JC hook you up.

Although I do see an occasional book not back boarded due to recent aquistions I presume, the selection of Silver age comics is great and Key issues on the walls rotate and are priced fairly. Every couple of months I see variety changes so always discover something new in a box here or there.
