Great deli and freshly made single or family size assortments like rotisserie chicken, meatloaf with sides. Also, simply sides, like deviled eggs or, potatoes salad. You can not beat their selection of bakery type items. Always fresh and always something new or seasonal. Giant Eagle is, maybe, a little more buck at the end of the day but, you do get what you pay for, a little more ( maybe a lot more), yum.

This store has been a pick up only store because of the pandemic. I was trying to get to the GetGo right next to this location which can be accessed by the same driveway as getting to the store. Unfortunately, the pharmacy drive-through line was so long that I was stuck behind other cars trying to get into the pharmacy drive-through line. They were holding up all the traffic there and I had to go around a van (into the other lane where I could have gotten hit head on) that was in front of me waiting for the pharmacy drive through so that I could go get gas. They need to find a way to make the pharmacy line more organized or have somewhere for overflow to go so that they are not blocking traffic or forcing cars to go in the oncoming lane to get around them.

One of the better stores around! The location aint too bad. Its not always over packed. And of course, Get Go is always handy.

On a whole the store is a very clean and organized. However is very disappointing that the meat and seafood counter is no longer open.

They charged my back when my EBT would cover my delivery. Some food rotten then gave me cash instead of refunded to my debit card they charged. Do now I have to go to the bank? NO. Not accepted. Im so angry

Went to the pharmacy and they usually have a line in the drive thur for the pharmacy so I decided to go in thinking it would be faster but it wasnt I think I waited just as long! 🙄

Today, Thanksgiving Eve, I went to the Giant Eagle on Howe Ave and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service I received from the deli. Terry, a young lady and deli manager, saw how I was a bit stressed buying cheese for my Thanksgiving dinner and brought to my attention of an existing $5 customer satisfaction coupon . Thats right anyone can get up to $5 off 1 to multiple varieties of cheese! Terry had me try a variety of samples . It was definitely a personal experience. Terry gave me few $1 off coupons and made sure I had the brand of cheese for the $1 coupons. Just visiting the Deli at this Giant Eagle truly brightened my day and made one of the expenses for Thanksgiving dinner much more affordable. Im telling you... was an unbelievably amazing experience!

Cant use gift card. Applied it through curbside and it didnt take the balance off. Went to check my gift card balance and my gift card balance is still the same. Curbside also ends at like 3 for some reason. Honestly, the way they are handling curbside is awful and way to complicated for someone so simple. It should just be order online pick it up but everytime iv gone its always been a problem. Just go into the walk in Giant Eagle and save yourself the time and hassle.

I had a grocery order for curbside pickup at 5 PM and did not receive my groceries until almost 6:30! I had to call the store 2 times to see if they forgot about my order. This isnt the first time Ive had this issue here. They need more staff and better management. Sorry not sorry. I couldve went into a store myself and shopped faster than the time I waited in my car during the winter! Big thumbs down.

This location may be one of the worst employers in the Akron area. Bad personnel management has caused high turnover, which has resulted in, among other things, filings of poor sanitary and meat handling. Staff is aloof and careless. Before covid, there were never enough checkout lines. Curb-side pick seems to be sketchy because they cant keep employees. A good place to avoid.

What a great place to shop

Not a fan of self-checkout! Especially when paying higher prices for their product that I can purchase down the street for less and have a cashier check me out and bag.

If I could give zero stars I would. Placed a order, picked it up,came home to find items that I paid for not in my bag. Called to talk to Jessica said she call me back to see where my items were never called back nothing. Never got reimbursed for the items not there. Never had to many problems there but apparent that they dont know how to do there jobs even when my order was placed several days in advance.

A little pricey. But it is all name brand stuff. They keep it clean their as well.

Amazing staff. Been doing grocery pickup for the past few months and this location never lets me down. Very well stocked on basic items, staff is friendly. Had a small issue and Tyler at customer service was very quick to make sure it was corrected.

The store is not open to public for shopping. Just online pickup. Had trash to throw away and got yelled at. Not very happy about that. That is the only bad thing.

Overcharged on carry out order, store manager was very difficult to speak with. This is the worst run giant eagle in the area and definitely worth going out of my way to not shop here.

Really cool store with lots of other options besides grocery. Has many ready to prepare food places and a small bar inside. Outstanding wine, beer, and liquor selection!

No in-store shopping. Online minimum order for pick up is $35

Went on Sunday afternoon, bakery products were slim and we wanted some cinnamon buns. Settled on the maple glaze. They were good, but not as good as some others weve had.

Pictures in April 15, 2020 Akron Beacon Journal shows workers shopping and loading groceries in customers cars. No one had a mask on nor were they wearing gloves. I changed my mind and will shop elsewhere. I hope their employees insist on the proper PPE at their work environment.

This company does not care about its employees or customers. They constantly ask the employees to do the work of two people. Cashiers are always closed to force you to use their self checkouts. Horrible company. The employees are usually nice but, always seem very stressed

I go down there and pick up my medications at the pharmacy all the time..Ive never really had any problems with their pharmacy.

I was initially misdirected to the product I was looking for but eventually found it with employees help. Lots of brand names! Good selection. Not a discount grocery store regardless of their claims.

I really always enjoy my self when I shop at Giant Eagle. They have so many interesting and fun things to find, to make, to eat. YUM YUM. Got ta love that sushi bar. And the perks make the trip all the more fun.

We enjoy going to this store and are always happy with the quality. However today (july 3rd) there was only 2 aisles open besides the self check outs. I do not like to use those as I feel I am not supporting my neighbors who work in my community. There was long lines at both checkouts so I must not be alone in this!

Got there at 7:30 for pickup, sent message that I was on my way via their app, 8:10 and still no groceries

This is my main grocery store; I know the layout by heart so I get in and out fast. The pharmacy people are super great too.

Prices are a little high, but for the freshnes of my fruits and veggies I dont mind. They have the best selection of vegan and vegetarian options. They always have a variety of flavors of any product you buy. For example, I buy the naked and bolthouse drinks and they have tons of flavors no other stores has. Always clean and I love going early and on sushi day. 😊

This location has been converted to an online pickup location only due to Covid 19. Im not certain when or if it will change back to a full service store, but I miss having this store in the area. There are two paid club stores close by and the Target across the street has groceries, but the dedicated full service Giant Eagle and the value it brings is needed in this struggling retail area.

Its great place to shop for sales. They have a great variety of products. Easy to navigate its oneof 3 stores I grocery shop at. They carry things I like that other stores dont. They have an excellent bakery department. Their delhi is a bit overpriced but it has a great selection.

Will giant eagle on howe ave open up again so we can go in and shop? Everything else is open.

Nice clean store. The selection of items is good too. The prices are too high though. You can get produce for about half at local markets. Lunch meats from the deli are almost double that of local not chain places.

Stopped in to get a money order... wouldnt take a check or credit card for it. Debit card or cash only? They pointed me to Huntington bank inside Giant Eagle to cash my check and they wouldnt cash it since I didnt have an account with them... real hassle!

Love this store its close to my house and they always have everything I need.

No eggs, very few mushrooms, meat counter closed and some meat scarce. Didnt check paper section. Cashier lines not too long.

Its almost all self checkout now. Self checkout is always a fail for me. I prefer to spend a little extra at a local Supermarket chain that still employs people. When gasoline went to self-serve, the price was lower to pump for yourself. In grocery stores, there is no incentive - just a flashing light when the automated system does not like the way I bag my own groceries. Maybe someday customer service will return. For now, I only shop here when I do not have other options.

They tell me my card isnt working because I went on the app and clipped coupons.... WHAT!!! On Sunday no one is there to figure it out. They we it of green beans.... Which are on sale. This is the main store I shop at and never had a problem. Just not happy today.

Love their gluten free section. They carry Enlightened Ice Cream, the high protein, low carb great tasting ice cream. Love the Huntington Bank inside. Great produce selection.

The fuel perks option is great and that is what I mostly use. The prices are pretty high on a majority of items, though you can also find some good deals. It is terribly inconvenient and frustrating that they have disabled the doors near the bank.

This giant eagle seems very dated it’s not the most clean one it is heavily traveled it could be cleaner for being in the area that it is in they should remodel it and bring it up more modern look and work on keeping it clean The employees are always really friendly but the store is always low on things I need and I end up having to go to the one on State Road

I love the selections available at this store! It is a very giant, Giant Eagle! Very friendly and helpful staff. We use the pick up service pretty regularly and the workers are always super friendly. They also always great my dog in the car and give his the love and attention that makes a dog mkm happy to see lol
